PA Acts Like Boss in Jerusalem

(IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Authority is resuming public moves to demonstrate sovereignty in Jerusalem.  First it was an official reception for the Egyptian ambassador, and now it is the official opening of a new business center.

Arab nations’ ambassadors to the PA, foreign consuls, and Palestinian Authority businessmen took part in the festive opening of the Al-Hambra (Red Palace) compound on Salah A-Din St. – the same street that houses a major branch of Israel’s Justice Ministry offices – on Tuesday night.

Just a few days ago, the Palestinian Authority conducted an official reception for Dr. Othman Yasser, the new Egyptian ambassador to the PA, in an eastern Jerusalem hotel. Taking part were senior PA figures, Fatah leaders, and even Israeli-Arabs.

The Oslo Accords forbid the Palestinian Authority from maintaining an official presence or conducting official activities in Jerusalem.

Correspondent Haggai Huberman reports that the new Arab business center will include restaurants, luxury stores, and even convention halls. The PA investment company Bedico spent millions of dollars to refurbish and rebuild the site, which has stood empty since 1989, after housing a movie theater for over 35 years.

Bedico chairman Munib Masri sounded almost like a Zionist in explaining his company’s motives: “It is important for me to invest in Jerusalem in order to support the Arab residents, create jobs and provide services for tourists and pilgrims who arrive in the holy city.”

At the reception in his honor, Dr. Yasser said, “The continued attempts to Judaize Jerusalem will harm the very existence of the Palestinian nation.”

Despite the ban on official PA activities in Jerusalem, the PA ran a Jerusalem headquarters in a building known as Orient House until 2001; the building was ultimately closed down  at the height of the PA-initiated terrorist war in which some 1,300 Israelis were murdered. Upon closing down the building, Israel found thousands of documents proving that the offices were used to finance terrorism. Orders to this effect signed by Yasser Arafat himself were found as well.

In February 2008, an aide to PA prime minister Salam Fayyad confirmed that Orient House had been partially reopened, with security and intelligence offices operating in the eastern Jerusalem building on a limited basis.

 

Everything the Palestinian Authority does is linked to the destruction of the Jews. How can Obama claim he has a peace plan that would give the PA all of Judah and Samaria, the heartland of Israel, for the establishment of this kind of planed destruction of the Jews, and call it a peace plan? I am not revealing news items unknown to Obama. On the contrary, he knows more then I about the intent of the Palestinian Authority. The reason he continues dealing exclusively with the PA is because they are the only Arabs who are willing to accept land from the infidels even if it is under false pretenses. The rest of Islam will not stoop to such levels. The rest of Islam intend to win the Holy Land in holy battle where the Jews are exterminated as part of the Islamic Final Solution. The Palestinian Arabs are looked down upon by Islam as the slimy untrustable part of the family. In Egypt, I noticed other Arabs won't eat near Palestinian Arabs once their origin is recognized. Who knows, but just yesterday they may have been shaking hands with a Jew. Islam does not trust the Palestinian Arabs, but their hate for the Jews overwhelms the repugnance they feel. I'm sure should Islam get the upper hand in the Holy Land the Palestinian Arabs would find themselves at the bottom of the social register. They are the Arabs who lived side by side with the Jews. Something absolutely repugnant to Islam!

The PA right now is puffed up with pride. They know they have Obama in their pocket. They think he believes their lies, and they can lead him, and the secular Jewish government around by the nose. They flaunt their superiority before the world saying we are the sovereign of Jerusalem. Their flaunting is tenuous at most, and they are careful not to cross the line angering the real sovereigns of Jerusalem. The PA fear the Jews, and do their prancing in softened steps.

Unlike the Islamic sexually perverted Paradise, the heaven of the Bible is not a place for the proud. Christian have been  praying for 2,000 years that the coming Kingdom where the will of God will be done here on earth as it is in heaven will come soon.

It is a shame that Obama does not read the Bible. He might gain some spiritual wisdom where wisdom really counts. Obama is traveling the wrong road in the Holy Land, and it can only lead to his demise. The only history that counts in eternity will be the history connected to the Bible, and the return of the LORD Jesus Christ. The Obama record is only one of wasted efforts on frivolous plans that were doomed before they were even started. Obama has left Christ out of all his planning. He wants a Holy Land peace that excludes Christ. It would only be Obama, and the world politicians getting the glory. This is a doomed plan from the get go.

Friend, I offer you a plan from the Bible. A plan based on the truth that you are a lost sinner in need of a Savior. The Biblical offer is not to the proud, but to the meek. The proud can't understand grace. They have no need of mercy. Only the downtrodden can understand the Christ of the Bible who came to offer the perfect atonement for sin. There could never be forgiveness of sin without the atonement Christ provided at Calvary. That forgiveness is being offered to you this very moment. Christ forces none to be saved, but the humble sinner coming for forgiveness is promised eternal life by this Christ of the Bible. Salvation is based on truth not lies. Come to this Christ of the Bible, and see the miracle He can do in your heart. He loves the lost sinner seeking to repent, and promises eternal life to all who will come.
