Joseph's Tomb Beckons

Arutz-7 has learned that our forces in Shechem (Nablus) are very close to the holy site of Joseph's Tomb - but are not entering it because the Arabs booby-trapped it with large amounts of explosives, ready at any moment to be detonated by remote-control. It will be recalled that the IDF withdrew from Joseph's Tomb at the beginning of the Oslo War in what was later to become shamefully remembered as the "abandonment" of IDF soldier Madhat Yusuf, who was wounded and bled to death at the holy site; army troops did not storm the area, but instead negotiated, in vain, with Jibril Rajoub over the wounded soldier's evacuation.

Although the army does not attribute great military importance to the holy site, students of the Joseph's Tomb Yeshiva - "Od Yosef Chai" [Joseph Still Lives] - are launching a public struggle to change this situation. Yehuda Libman of Yitzhar, one of the heads of the yeshiva and a long-time student there, spoke with Arutz-7 today:
"I know that in these last 24 hours, our hearts and those of many others are turned towards this holy site, feeling that G-d is again giving us a chance, a gift, and a test - and the question is what we will do with it... We know that Joseph's Tomb is not one of the army's operational objectives, as unfortunately the people in charge don't realize just how important the site is to the national morale and spirit. The Western Wall, for instance, *was* an operational objective [during the Six-Day War]... The hundreds of calls that we have received about Joseph's Tomb, even from soldiers, are a clear indication of the great importance many people attribute to it. Capturing the site would certainly give great strength to the soldiers, showing them that this war does not just have temporary objectives to solve a specific immediate problem, but that there are long-term goals of national and historic significance... We are trying in various ways to get this message across…"

This may well be the kernel of what is happening in Israel today! The secular interests override the spiritual! A change is in the wind where obedience to God will become the overriding interest in Israel.

The day is coming when the Two Witnesses of Revelation Chapter 11 could proclaim God's call to rebuild the Third Jewish Temple, and the Jews would respond irregardless of the pending response by liberal secular Israelis, Islam, and the world! I fully expect a peace without God is pending, and possibly a blasphemous Islamic Arab Palestinian State? I fully expect the Two Witnesses to upset the secular peace with a mandate from God to build His house (Ezekiel 40 - 48) on the Temple Mount. They will be the first to be changed as the breath of the Holy Spirit moves on the Jews once again. 144,000 Jews will be next as the breath of changed hearts renews a great spiritual return to Old Testament law rightly understood as being centered in the soon returning Lord Jesus Christ as the Messianic King of the Jews. Blood (the book of Leviticus) will again be center to everything taking place in the next Temple.

We are living in extraordinary times! Apostate Christianity is already turning on the Jews. Just listen to the Pope who is one of the most powerful voices of the apostates. World leaders are forcing Israel to accept a heathen Palestinian State in their midst. Secular Jews look to (the Biblical Egypt) the world's peace plans for their security rather then God. Conservative Christianity lies in its feather bed of neither being too hot, or too cold. When shouting a warning of repentance should be the primary message of today; When proclaiming the Kingdom is at hand, the voices of moderation override the enthusiastic. Caution overrides the obvious Biblical noteworthiness of today's news. The Jews are back in the Holy Land! God put the dry bones there to stay forever this time! The Kingdom is all of what is happening this very day! Wake-up Oh sluggards! Get out of that feather bed of cloned conservatism. The winds of dispensational change are blowing.

Mofaz says IDF needs four weeks

JERUSALEM (April 5) - The IDF needs at least four weeks to carry out planned operations in the West Bank and an additional four weeks to thoroughly demolish the Palestinian terrorist infrastructure, Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Shaul Mofaz said yesterday.

Mofaz also said the IDF believes it is best for Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat to be expelled.

"We have found the PA and Arafat are directing, encouraging, and financing the terrorists operations against us. We know that with Arafat the chances of reaching a peace agreement do not exist; as as long as he is here, he will continue to use terror against us. When you weigh it on a scale it is best that he is outside. But this is the IDF position, and in the end the decision is a government one. It has decided to isolate him, and we are respecting this decision," Mofaz told military reporters at his Tel Aviv headquarters.

 

Should you be interested in the Israeli plan for the present - here it is! Whether the US will let them finish it, and whether it will work is yet to be seen? But, here is what is happening! The dismantling of the PA, and the eventual expulsion of Arafat.

It is all aimed at finding a peace plan that again will exclude God. I'm sure secular Israel is looking for a moderate Palestinian with whom to negotiate after Arafat is gone. I'm afraid Arafat is never going to go away, and that there is no such thing as a moderate Palestinian, or for that matter a moderate Arab, or even a moderate Moslem when it comes to submitting to religious equality with a Jew!

A secular peace plan is in the wind with a Palestinian State as the carrot. The Arabs will not only take the carrot, but the stick, and everything else including the Holy Land. They want the Holy Land to be Islamic, and any Jews allowed to live there be under strict Islamic control. A popular song in Israel has Arafat singing the chorus:

"Give me all your land,

and I will shake your hand."

The problem is the land is not for the world to offer much less for Israel to offer. The land belongs to God alone. We rightfully recognize the Holy Land as unique in all the world. God has taken it out of Islamic control! He did not give it to the Christians, but to the Jews. The Pope has shown his anger as have the Arabs in that God has again allowed the Jews to take possession.

The world is going one direction, and God's plan for the coming Kingdom is going in the exact opposite direction. There is no sharing of the Holy Land in God's eyes either with the Arabs or the Christians. Conflict leading to Armageddon is what is happening from a Biblical perspective. Worldwide hardening of hearts in hate against Jews, and in the process against God is what is happening as the true righteousness of a holy God is in the first stages of being forced on a world that demands the freedom to live without the God of the Bible. They want everyone to have their own god, and all to live in a utopian world of harmony. The Jews returned to the Holy Land has now been forced on the world, and upsets the plan. Secular Judaism is as perplexed as any in how to deal with God's intervention into world plans and events.

I watch with anticipation as God forces the world to submit only to Him, and His plan for the coming Kingdom of Christ as Messiah and Jewish King of the world! All religions, all nations, all governments, all everything must step aside in absolute submission to the coming Kingdom. The destruction of Armageddon (Valley of Jehoshaphat) will be the fate of all rebels.

Conflict begins anew debate on end times

The bloody conflict in the Middle East is again turning some evangelicals to the Bible for texts that speak of a final cosmic battle in those ancient lands.

Some scholars and religious leaders warn against being too literal.
     As with the founding of Israel in 1948, the Six Day War in 1967, and the Persian Gulf war of 1991, the ongoing violence between Israel and Palestinians is making some Christians think of a biblical-scale showdown ....

"I see Israel as the only nation on Earth with a title deed to any real estate," said Hal Lindsey, who popularized the study of Bible prophecy in his 1970 book, "The Late Great Planet Earth." .....

Capital Bible Seminary President Homer Heater, an Old Testament scholar, said Bible prophecy demands a sympathy to Israel but .....

Images of an end time in the Middle East stretch from the Hebrew books of Jeremiah, Zechariah and Daniel to the New Testament's gospel of Matthew and the book of Revelation.
     The more apocalyptic interpretations see the return of Jews to Israel, the rise of an anti-Christ, a new world government and a final battle of Armageddon as key features in God's plan. ....
 

In contrast, evangelicals such as Pat Robertson back Israel, and the Rev. John Hagee, a San Antonio pastor, built an international ministry on interpreting Middle East events....
 

Most — 72.5 percent — agreed with the statement, "I believe we actually are seeing the start of the war that leads to antichrist and Armageddon." Most of the rest said: "I believe it is coming, but this isn't it."

 

The press loves to mock the Biblical declaration of the coming wrath of God as foolish dooms-day scenarios. The Christian money changers of today add to the skepticism as they look at how they can cash in on the current events taking place in Israel. The press watches how the money flows, and rightfully recognizes the true motive behind today's professing prophets.

What a sad indictment on Christianity during these end times of this present Church age. What a sad state are the professing prophets during this momentous time of dispensational change. Homer Heater is one of those conservative Christians calling for moderation with his "but" while the Bible is crying out that the dispensation of the Church is almost at an end. Israel is in place under the direct hand of God who has intervened in world history. It is ready to fulfill its roll in the next dispensation of the Kingdom age. This is not a time to be moderating! It is time to be calling for repentance, and warning this world the omnipotent God is about to bring in the next dispensation of His Biblical plan for world history! The stone of Daniel is about to crush the feet of the last Gentile powers on planet earth as Armageddon looms. Only a Jewish Kingdom will survive when Christ returns to Jerusalem as Messiah/King. The wrath of the lamb, the LORD of hosts, will destroy all gentile power, and force every individual to either submit to Christ and His Jewish Kingdom rule or die!

The lukewarm Laodicean Church composed of the remnant of the truly saved remains moderate in its feather bed of cloned conservatism. These pampered Christian leaders are fat with the wealth of the American lifestyle, and in need of nothing. They roll aside quietly as the apostate Church of the Great Tribulation  blossoms into the gigantic impotent monster which will be but fodder for the Anti-Christ during his short reign. It is all so sad as the Holy Land explodes onto the national news once again.

Will this be the final conflict? I doubt it, but it is without doubt part of those events that will end with the judgment of Armageddon! It began in 1948 when Israel was thrust on the world. It will end with the total destruction of the gentile nations. Israel will finally have rest on earth for 1000 years under the loving care of its King of kings, and LORD of lords.

Holocaust Remembrance Day

Tonight (April 8th) begins Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day. The theme for this year’s special day is “Their Last Voice: Letters and Testaments from Jews in the Holocaust.” The official opening ceremony will take place tonight at 8:00 PM, at the Warsaw Ghetto Square, in the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.

President Moshe Katsav and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will participate in the ceremony. Mr. Avner Shalev, Chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate, will kindle the Holocaust Memorial Torch.

During the ceremony Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau will recite Psalms, and Sephardic Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi Doron will chant the Kaddish prayer. Over 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazi regime between 1941-1945

 

The world has changed little from those terrible days prior and into World War Two. The same hatred for the Jews is evident in all the protests seen not only in Arab countries, but throughout Europe (especially France). There were no protests against Arab terrorism when they specifically targeted Jewish children, but suddenly great protest arises when Israel responds? It is reminiscent of the silence to Nazi treatment of Jewish children which was so clearly ignored, or given purposed little note during the war years. It was not until non-political American soldiers discovered the death camps that the eyes of the world were forced to face the reality of the inhuman, barbaric hate of the Nazis perpetrated on helpless folks who's only crime was being Jewish. Again, the world takes little note when it is Jewish children being terrorized. The protests only surface when Israel is forced to protect its children from a culture that glorifies to its own children the killing of Jews as something worthy of greatest honor.

The holocaust continues in the hearts of many this very day. The anti-Semitic attitudes of pompous Europeans is a familiar pattern. Another familiar pattern is the defiance of Hitler to the end, and the defiant Arafat hunkered down in his bunker as an Israeli Army of superior force overpowers his pompous visions of Islamic grandeur over the Jews.

It is a dangerous thing to hate Jews. God will not tolerate such behavior in His creation. Jesus Christ is a Jew by plan. All must step aside when this Jewish King returns to Jerusalem to claim His Kingdom. The Nazis thought they could change God's determined plan for the coming Kingdom, and are no more! The Arafat Palestinian culture thinks it can stop God's determined plan for the coming Kingdom! We now are watching the results of such defiance!

Pope says Holy Land violence at intolerable level

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope John Paul said violence had reached an intolerable level in the Holy Land on Monday and one Roman Catholic group accused the Israeli army of "barbarity" after fighting at Jesus's birthplace in Bethlehem.

"The spiral of violence and armed hostility in the Holy Land -- the land of our Lord's birth, death and Resurrection, a land held sacred by the three great monotheistic religions -- has increased to unimaginable and intolerable levels," the Pope said.

The 81-year-old Pontiff, who visited the Holy Land in 2000, made no specific reference to the fighting at Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity in his comments, delivered to members of an American foundation visiting the Vatican.

But Franciscans, whose brother monks are holed up in the Bethlehem church with Palestinians, welcomed the Pope's appeal.

The dead Christ hangs on the cross as this feeble living Pope administers blessings usurping the very power of God as if it was his own. Now, the self-proclaimed administer/mediator/representative clearly takes sides in the present conflict against Israel calling the Jews "barbarians." It is reminiscent of the attitude recently revealed by Billy Graham caught on the hidden Nixon White House tapes. An attitude never repented of, but only apologized for because it was brought into the light. All reasons for a resistant world to secretly, or openly categorize Jews as different from the rest of us. All reasons to resist the coming Jewish Kingdom!

The Roman Catholic self-proclaimed pontiff has good reason to hate the Jews. It is because the world can see the Church of the Nativity is under Jewish control. The Islamic terrorists have only momentarily invaded the Church to use it as a fortress in their battle with the Jews. This Church had been under partial Palestinian control in the past, and the Palestinians were rubbing the pope's nose in the dirt by planning to build an unauthorized Grand Mosque on the front lawn. Israel intervened as the higher authority, and ruled an end to the Palestinian's plan. Yet, the pope would rather have Islam control the Church then the Jews. He knows Roman Catholic theology has robbed the Jews of all future blessings by replacing the Roman Catholic Church in all those future blessings of the Bible that clearly say they are for the Jews. The pope has a major theological problem when the whole world is witness to the literal Jews replacing not just the Roman Catholic Church, but all powers in the Holy Land as the Bible has always predicted. It is reason enough for the pompous Vicar of Rome to hatefully categorize the Jew as a barbarian!

A dispensational change is almost here when the Son shall rule the earth from Jerusalem as the Messianic King of the Jews! All the monolithic religions, all religions, all the nations must step aside for the Son!

Sudanese Protest Against Israel

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Sudanese of all political colors condemned Israel and the United States on Monday, holding one of the biggest demonstrations ever in the capital and calling on Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) to avenge Israel's offensive in the Palestinian territories.

Strike back, bin Laden!" the crowd chanted at a protest that drew hundreds of thousands of people to Khartoum's Martyr's Square for one of several pro-Palestinian demonstrations in Mideast countries including Jordan, Syria and Egypt.

In Baghdad, President Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) said Iraq was cutting off oil exports for 30 days or until Israel withdraws from Palestinian territories, an announcement that provoked a jump in world oil prices.

In Jordan, at least 4,000 Palestinians gathered for the funeral of an 11-year-old boy who died Sunday of an injury suffered during an anti-Israeli protest Friday — marched through the dusty streets of Baqaa refugee camp and also called on bin Laden to attack Israel.

"Beloved bin Laden, strike Tel Aviv!" the crowd shouted.

In Sudan, protesters marched a mile in the 104-degree heat to the U.N. offices, where a delegation presented a memorandum warning that the United Nations (news - web sites) must implement U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding an immediate Israeli military withdrawal or lose its credibility.

As with people across the Arab world, the demonstrators accused Washington of heavy bias toward Israel.

The crowd chanted "Down! Down with U.S.A!" and there were roars of approval when the head of the Sudanese Workers Trade Union Federation, Ibrahim Ghandour, urged the crowd to boycott American products. "So no more Coca-Cola," Ghandour said.

Annan takes Israel to task over human rights violations

MADRID, Spain - United Nations (news - web sites) Secretary-General Kofi Annan (news - web sites), in his harshest condemnation of Israel to date, said Wednesday he was "appalled" by the dire humanitarian situation caused by the Israeli offensive against Palestinians.

He said Israel's hard-hunted crackdown was causing a "mounting humanitarian and human rights crisis" in Palestinian areas.

Annan said this that was unacceptable from a country "that lays claim to democracy."

"I am, frankly, appalled by humanitarian situation, "Annan said after discussing the violence in the Middle East with U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites), Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, EU foreign and security chief Javier Solana and Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Pique.

He said Israel's assault was causing "enormous suffering for the innocent civilian population caught up in the hostilities" in the West Bank and Gaza strip (news - web sites).

MADRID, Spain - The United Nations, the United States, the European Union and Russia issued a joint statement today urging Israel to withdraw from Palestinian territories and for both sides to call an immediate cease-fire and prevent the conflict from spreading.

"We call for an immediate, meaningful cease-fire and an immediate Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian cities, including Ramalllah, specifically including Chairman Arafat's headquarters," UN Secretary General Kofi Annan told a news conference.

"We call on Israel to fully comply with international humanitarian principles and to allow full and unimpeded access to humanitarian organziations and services."

Annan was spaking after a four-way meeting in Madrid with US Secretary of State Colin Powell, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, EU foreign and security chief Javier Solana and Josep Pique, Spain's foreign minister whose country holds the EU presidency.

Powell, touring North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe at a time of the worst Israeli-Palestinian fighting in decades, said in Cairo Tuesday he planned to see Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon this week.
 

God is painting a reoccurring picture for all to see. When the Kingdom comes, Israel will stand alone! When Jesus Christ comes to Jerusalem to establish His Jewish Kingdom, the Jews will stand alone. As the world so clearly rejects Israel today, so also will it reject the Lord Jesus Christ when He comes again as the conquering King to establish His Kingdom. The heart of man is not going to change. The Bible says the hearts of the Jews will change. God will soon send the Holy Spirit to breath life into the Jews of Israel. First, the Church of only those who are truly saved will be taken out of this world at the coming rapture leaving only Apostate Christianity to turn on the Jews. That will theologically open the way for a return to the Bible, and Old Testament law. The merging of Old and New Testaments will finally be accomplished. A perfect Old Testament law centered in the blood of the New Testament Christ. A Temple will be the first order of business where blood sacrifice, and the return to the book of Leviticus will again legally and acceptably be presented to the world in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice at Calvary.

The great obstacle to building the Temple on the Temple Mount is Islam. Primarily the Arafat, Islamic, Arab, culture now fighting to the death to prevent the Jews from their destiny of building that Temple. A false secular peace is what I see coming. A peace without God, and without changed hearts. A peace that will lead to the greatest Jihad in Islamic history. An invasion of Israel while she rests on the word of the Western World to provide her security. Sadly, the picture will be painted again, and Israel will find herself abandoned. Israel will again stand alone. This time some in Israel will have had their hearts changed. They will turn to the Lord of hosts (Christ) of the Old Testament Who will deliver all of Israel for their sake, and destroy Islam on the mountains and fields of the Holy Land. The Temple will be built, and functioning in just 3 1/2 years! The Anti-Christ will desecrate that Temple after it is completed, and again Israel will stand alone. Many more Jews and some gentile converts will be saved through the fire of trial and tribulation as the Jews face total rejection by a world of Anti-Christ euphoria. The Messiah at His coming will find Israel standing alone, and about to be destroyed by the world powers on their way to a final showdown in the valley of Armageddon.

It will be then that the Kingdom will come. Israel will be delivered. The nations of the gentile world will be destroyed by the hand of the LORD of hosts! A second great feast for the fowls of the air, and the beasts of the field will take place as will have happened earlier at the destruction of the Last Jihad. Israel will stand alone! The Anti-Christ and his cohort the false prophet will be the first to be cast into the lake of fire for all future eternity when the Kingdom is established. The rest will be slain to await in death their final judgment as already meted out to the Anti-Christ and false prophet!

The lion will finally lie down with the lamb as God brings the perfect peace of His Kingdom to all the world!

Jewish school bus attacked with stones in Paris

PARIS - A school bus carrying Jewish students in Paris was bombarded with stones Wednesday, news reports said, drawing immediate condemnation from the Paris mayor and renewed pleas for religious tolerance.

Synagogues and Jewish schools and cemeteries around the country have been targeted, often with firebombs, in the last two weeks. In the most serious case, a Marseille synagogue was burned to the ground on March 31.

It is not just the Palestinians who show their hatred by targeting Jewish children.  It is not just the Palestinians who show their hate by hero worship of those who's only rise to prominence is their wholesale murder of Jews. It is an attitude of blind hate against Jews that the God of the Bible will not tolerate. Jesus Christ is not a gentile Christian, but a Jew by plan and purpose. He is of the Tribe of Judah, and in the linage of King David. It is this Jewish Christ who is coming again to Jerusalem. It is with this Jewish Christ that the world has an attitude! It is the kind of puritanical Kingdom that He will force on a resistant world. The freedom to do it my way will no longer be tolerated! The rules of the Kingdom will be based on righteousness, and the freedom to boldly, and openly sin will find the rod of iron wielded in immediate judgment. The pornographers will find death if they refuse to repent. The Budweiser crowd will be crushed never again to put the poison of societal destruction to their lips.  Regular attendance in worship of the King of Kings and Lord of lords will not be an option during the Kingdom era. All religions, all governments, all nations will submit to this Jewish Christ and His Kingdom, or die. The lifestyle of planet earth will never be the same as the next Biblical dispensation of the Kingdom takes control. Righteousness will rule, and for the first time mankind will experience real peace. A peace that requires changed hearts in absolute submission to the only perfect King. Rebels will not be tolerated. Hypocrites will be rooted out by the King who can see the heart.

The Bible reveals many attributes of God. One of those attributes is inseparably linked with the preservation of the Jews who will be the foundation of the coming Kingdom dispensation. It is encompassed within the term "the Lord of hosts." It will be a fearful day when the Lord of hosts manifests His power on a world with an attitude.

Red Heifer Born in Israel

Less than one month ago, a red heifer was born in Israel. After the heifer´s owner contacted the Temple Institute, on Friday, April 5th, 2001, Rabbi Menachem Makover and Rabbi Chaim Richman traveled to the farm where the heifer is located, to inspect and validate her status. The rabbis found her to be kosher and were satisfied that this heifer could indeed be a candidate to be used in the process of purification described in the book of Numbers, Chapter 19, a prerequisite for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

In 1997, another red heifer was born on the religious kibbutz, Kfar Hassidim, but by 1998 it had become unfit for ritual use when hairs on its tail were found to be whitening, rendering it not totally red.

Tradition records that a red heifer (parah adumah) in our generation is a herald of the Messianic era. It is certainly an important development towards the rebuilding of the Holy Temple. Our sages taught that Israel’s redemption can be compared to the dawn: “In the beginning, it progresses very slowly...but as it continues, it grows brighter and brighter.”

This may well be the most important news story to come out of the Middle East even in the midst of all the present conflict effecting the entire world. A miracle has happened, the hand of God has clearly been manifested on behalf of Israel, and the building of the next Jewish Temple. The first time in 2000 years a natural kosher red heifer has been born! Islam has said of the former announcement of the red heifer that failed to qualify as kosher that it was at that time the primary target of an Islamic nuclear attack. This truly kosher red heifer at this time can only stir the heathen Islamic world to rage beyond imagination.

It will not be just Islam that will rage when Israel announces it is going to build the next Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. The pope as well as the potentates of every world power will rent their robes in absolute defiant anger that Israel would claim a mandate from the God of the Bible (which has now been manifested) for the building of the next Jewish Temple. The present conflict will pale in comparison to a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. The final conflict between a resistant world, and the coming Kingdom is now engaged! The hate against a Jewish Jerusalem is about to erupt into total rejection of the Jews by the entire world! Total rejection of the coming Jewish Kingdom!

My personal thoughts are that the Two Witnesses of Revelation chapter 11 will be the powder keg that makes the announcement of the Temple! It will spark the greatest Jihad in Islamic history, and the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39 where Islam will be eradicated as an influence on world events. A false peace is what I expect first, and then the announcement!

A return to Old Testament Biblical law is in the wind; A return to the book of Leviticus, and blood sacrifice as a remembrance is in the wind as the dispensation of the Kingdom approaches!

Have You Heard, Or Have You Been Kept Ignorant?

In the last two weeks of Operation Defensive Shield, Israel has set up a special media center inside the large Jerusalem Convention Center and has been giving daily briefings to reporters on the current operations, who is being captured or killed, and what is being seized. At each briefing, a cabinet minister and an IDF official speak and present the latest findings.

The initiative mirrors US-style briefings on the war in Afghanistan and is aimed at hammering home the message that Israel is also fighting its own brand of global terror.

To assist in the critical public relations effort, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has brought on his two immediate predecessors-in-office, Binyamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, to serve as quasi-official spokesmen for the government.

The IDF reckons it has killed several hundred armed Palestinian militants and detained over 4,000 suspects, including 120 wanted hard-core terrorists in its recent military campaign. In addition, thousands of illegal firearms have been confiscated, along with explosives and homicide bomber belts and disguises. The army has also demolished dozens of weapons factories and bomb labs.

While these seizures hopefully will help reduce the level of terrorism now confronting Israelis, perhaps the most important find is the raft of documents directly connecting Arafat and his Palestinian Authority to the Fatah terror militias, the Tanzim and Al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigades, and even with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.

As terror attacks have resumed in recent days, some may say the extensive operations failed in their mission to "root out" Palestinian terrorism, but the mound of evidentiary proof could have a lasting effect by forcing the US and other nations to reassess their long-term relations with Arafat and the Palestinian Authority. The Bush team, in particular, is quite aware their doctrine of "zero tolerance for terrorism" is now at stake.
 

The media bends over backward to present balanced reporting of the Middle East crises. How often I hear Palestinian representatives reek with their repetitive lies, and tongue in cheek programmed distortions when pressed on issues. I've yet to hear a single news briefing from Jerusalem? I don't even hear a summary at the end of the day. Its as if Operation Defensive Shield is just a destructive secret operation known only to the Jews. When a Jewish sniper accidentally shot a Monk in Bethlehem, and at the briefing Israel took responsibility for the tragedy; That admission made it out to the world. When an anonymous Palestinian with no factual evidence said a massacre took place in Jenin; That made it out to the world media. The real secret is what is openly being explained to an uninterested press in Jerusalem. It is similar to the secret of what the Bible openly says about salvation in Christ.

There will never be an excuse that someone missed salvation because the news folks kept it secret. There will also never be an excuse of ignorance about the coming Kingdom because the media failed to report it. The truth is the world wants to be ignorant of Christ. They want to be ignorant of His first coming, and this generation wants to remain ignorant of His second coming.

The headlines are not the place to find what God is doing in the world today. The news folks are ignorant of the Bible. They never studied it in journalism class. They only ignorantly mock it as insignificant, and not fit for  newsworthiness.

The latest news reporting shows Arafat joining Christianity into his Islamic battle against the Jews. It is true that Apostate Christianity has more in common with the heathen Moslems then with a soon coming return to the Bible among the Jews. The media never report the open change that takes place in the lives of repentant sinners who turn to Christ, but they will report the hypocrisy of all the phony religions of the world as if credible.

Speaking by cell phone from his West Bank compound in Ramallah, Arafat told some 5,000 people at the Abbassiya Cathedral that the "Palestinian people will die in defending ourselves" against Israeli attacks on Palestinian territories.

In a show of national solidarity, top Christian and Muslim leaders, gathered with political figures, artists and community chiefs for the National Conference for the Support of the Palestinian People.

"The (Israeli) occupation is going beyond limits, not only against ... our children, our women ... (but) against  our  Christian and Muslim sanctuaries," Arafat said.

Calls begin for war crimes trial for Israelis

    Palestinian sympathizers in Europe and the Arab world called yesterday for the Israeli government to be investigated for war crimes, raising the prospect that leaders of the Jewish state could be among the first targets of the new International Criminal Court. That court became a reality yesterday at a U.N. signing ceremony in New York, with representatives of 66 countries that have ratified the treaty establishing the first global war-crimes tribunal. The United States denounced the treaty as a violation of international law.
     With the U.S. seat in the hall empty, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan vowed that "those who commit war crimes, genocide or other crimes against humanity will no longer be beyond the reach of justice."
     As the Israeli incursion in the West Bank showed no signs of abating yesterday despite Secretary of State Colin L. Powell's arrival in Israel, an Israeli-Arab legislator suggested that members of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Cabinet be investigated for "war crimes" in the occupied Palestinian territories.
 

What will this world court rule when the Lord Jesus Christ demands absolute submission to His Kingdom or death? A far harsher penalty then the Palestinians are paying today for their culture of nurturing their own children to kill Jews. A far harsher penalty then for the Palestinian specific targeting of Jewish Children for maiming and death. It is clear that Kofi Aman will find the world agreeing with war crime indictments against the Jewish Christ when He comes to establish His Kingdom. The indictment will surly include all the accompanying saints and angels as anger boils over against God's righteousness replacing all religious freedom, all governments, all individual rights to sinful freedom of self expression. The hate and anger of the world against Israel today will be 1000 fold increased when Christ comes again. The Lord Jesus Christ will demand cultural change; He will demand changed hearts for any who will be allowed entrance into His coming Kingdom! All others, all rebels will be given death!

The Lord of hosts is mighty in battle. No quarter is asked, and no quarter is given. There is no bargaining, there is no compromise! There will be no rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ when the Lord of hosts moves across the entire planet. This world court will find only separation as goats by the Lord of hosts as He quickly searches the heart, and makes His determination. The cost of true righteousness will become abundantly clear to all the religious hypocrites of today.

It just can't be any other way! It is Christ or nothing! It is the blood of His sacrifice that the world must be continually reminded during Temple worship in His Kingdom. It is not a place for rebels who demand freedom to set up their own standards; Who would put democratic vote above the ordinances of God Almighty.

(12:10) IDF: Bodies of dead Palestinians booby-trapped

Army forces are continuing mopping-up operations in the northern West Bank city of Jenin at this hour.

There are reports of intermittent sniping at soldiers, Israel Radio said.

IDF sources said many of the bodies of Palestinians killed in fighting over the last two weeks were booby-trapped and that was one of the reasons journalists and Red Cross teams were not allowed into the camp until this morning.

The curfew has also been lifted for the time being so camp residents can stock up on foodstuffs.

Reporters on the scene report seeing no bodies strewn in the steets of the city, contrary to earlier Palestinians reports of an Israeli massacre.

Sharon says U.S. backs regional conference

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said yesterday that he expects that a regional conference will convene in the near future to discuss political arrangements in the Middle East and focus on regional development.

Sharon said that he proposed to U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell a conference in which Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and "Palestinian representatives" participate, led by the U.S. He said that Syria and Lebanon would also be invited to participate.

According to Sharon, "the idea is acceptable to the U.S." but there has been no confirmation from Powell's entourage or Washington. Time Magazine is reporting in today's issue that Powell has an overall plan that includes an immediate declaration of a Palestinian state, Israeli withdrawal from settlements in Gaza, and an international conference to decide on the final borders of the Palestinian state.
 

This may be the false secular peace without God that is expected before the Last Jihad of Ezekiel 38 & 39? What makes it so appealing from a Biblical perspective is that all the Islamic countries mentioned (near neighbors of Israel) are not specifically mentioned as part of the Islamic invasion forces of the Ezekiel invasion. The Bible is silent about Egypt's roll though the Islamic hordes coming up from North Africa need to pass through Egypt on their way to Israel.  The same is true of Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan as the hordes from the North (Chief Prince of the Gog, Gomer, and Togarmah), and from the East (Persia = Iran and Iraq) must pass through on their way to death in the mountains and fields of Israel. It seems clear that many Moslems from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan today would join the invasion, but treaties might force those countries from official participation? It may be why Ezekiel does not mention them specifically? The Saudi ties to the West would clearly exclude them from participating officially. A blasphemous Palestinian State would also be tied to the West by treaty though the hate would not prevent individuals, or new terrorist organizations from joining in.

Whatever, the end result will be the end of Islamic influence on the world. The end result will be the removal of the great obstacle to building the next Jewish Temple. The end result will be the need of a new all encompassing treaty this time with the antichrist as leader of the Western world. The end result will be the Temple needed for the coming Kingdom; The only Biblical Temple with a throne (where the antichrist at 3-1/2 years will sit usurping the second coming of Christ taking place in just another 3-1/2 years). A Third Jewish Temple will be built on the Temple Mount where the two previous Temples were built. It will need divine direction for both the building of the physical structure, and proper kosher spiritual worship procedures within which I believe the Two Jerusalem Witnesses of Revelation chapter 11 will provide.

The Kingdom is closer then the feather bed Christians of today are willing to concede. Events in Israel cry out that the Biblical structures needed for the next dispensation are coming into place. The Church must step aside for Israel to fulfill her destiny as the center of the coming Kingdom. Blood sacrifice by Jews in Ezekiel's Temple must again be presented to this sin filled world as a remembrance of the only sacrifice acceptable for the forgiveness of sin. The King of kings and Lord of lords, the lamb of God, must sit on the throne demonstrating that sin has been forever defeated.

The Pope and the Catholic Church refuse to call this a hostage situation. They claim the Church is in their complete control only offering refuge to the beleaguered Palestinians. Yesterday, two Israeli soldiers were wounded from sniper fire coming from the Church of the Nativity. Now let's be fair! If the Pope and the Catholic Church control the situation, then they also must be allowing the Palestinians to use that Church as a fortress from where to kill Jews. During World War Two the US bombed Casino into oblivion rather then sacrifice American soldiers to the German controlled monastery. Israel is showing much more restraint.

This is all so stupid! The hate of the Pope and the Catholic Church for Jews is just so obvious. They always side against the Jews no matter how dumb the situation becomes. Only last month the Palestinians were threatening to build a Grand Mosque on the front lawn of the Church of the Nativity which is in a Palestinian controlled area. It is no wonder that this same Church is in the news again revealing the truth of where the official Roman Catholic policy stands! The Pope and the Church did not blame the Palestinians for the Grand Mosque demands, but blamed Israel for allowing the Palestinians to propose such a ridiculous plan. It is like a broken record that repeats and repeats. Blame every problem, every situation that does not go the way you want on the Jews. Blame the Jews for control over the media as Billy Graham was caught expressing on the secret Nixon tapes. Blame the Jews for the present siege of the Church of the Nativity. Today, every Jew killer living in Bethlehem knew right where to run when the Israeli army entered the city putting an end to their cowardly acts. The Pope calls this sham refuge of the killers of Jewish Children who continue trying to kill Jews while in the Church as an example of  "Christian witness." I can now understand how the "Christian Witness" of the Pope and the Catholic Church will work when the antichrist sits on the throne in the next Jewish Temple usurping the authority of the coming Kingdom, and Jewish Messiah!

It is no wonder to me that God would use this exact time to reveal to the world just how corrupt this Roman Catholic system really is! The corruption of the pedophile priests pales in comparison to the corruption of the heart yet to be revealed when God brings in the Kingdom age!
