Israel Doing A Good Job Against Terrorism

Both the IDF Chief of Staff and Israel's Police Chief said today, in separate media interviews, that the relative quiet of the past few weeks is not due to a Palestinian decision to opt for peace, but rather to successful Israeli military operations to thwart terrorism. Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Moshe Yaalon said that for the first time in two years, there are now more explosives belts than suicide terrorists willing to detonate them.

Yaalon also noted with surprise that he was greeted very warmly by Arab residents of Hevron during his visit there last week. He explained that the IDF presence in the cities of Judea and Samaria "freed the [Arab] residents from the heavy yoke of the Palestinian Authority." It was learned today that the IDF has essentially revived the Civil Administration that governed Judea, Samaria and Gaza between 1967 and 1993. An office is open in Hevron, serving hundreds of people a day.

British Experts See Bright Economic Future For Israel

The British financial weekly The Economist sees a relatively rosy future for Israel within a few months. Expressing more optimism than Israeli Finance Ministry officials, the paper predicts that the Israeli economy will grow by 2.6% in the coming year. The Economist credits Bank of Israel Governor David Klein's interest rate hikes earlier this year with stabilizing the shekel and slowing down inflation. Statistics released yesterday indicate early signs of a recovery in the Israeli economy.

 

There is good news coming out of Israel. The rosy prospects for the economy is unusual as most of the Western world is not feeling very rosy right now. I suppose those who predict the economic future fall into the same category as those who predict the weather? Again, I would imagine those who try to predict when future prophecies in the Bible will take place are a notch lower then the other two categories?

I would expect Israel is going to have great economic success only because the Bible says when the Islamic invasion takes place it will be to take a spoil. God says it will be an evil thought that will come into the mind of the Islamic hordes. Their intent will be to cleanse the Holy Land of all Jews through murder, and to take their hard earned land and riches for themselves. An economy under stress just doesn't fit into what the times will be like for Israel just before the Last Jihad takes place.

A second thing the Bible says is that Israel will be at rest in unwalled cities. I think I can predict the future for the present wall being built around the West Bank, and that is no future at all? I know my speculations fall into the same category as that of the economists and weathermen, but I also know they are true! God has given us the how's of what He is about to do. What He didn't give us is the when!

Al Aqsa Brigades executes two Palestinians for alleged collaboration

An 18-year-old Palestinian woman, Raja Ibrahim, was shot dead late Friday in the West Bank town of Tulkarm, by militants who accused her of planting the bomb which killed a local militant leader, Raed Karmi, on January 13th.

The militants were from the Al Aqsa Brigades, affiliated to Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement.

Ibrahim's aunt, Ikhlas Khouli, 39, was shot and killed by the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades in Tulkarm's main square on August 24 for allegedly collaborating with Israel. Her house was then set on fire.

Khouli's sister, Rajaa's aunt, was later kidnapped by the militant group and forced, after being tortured she said, to confess to having collaborated with Israel. Her two children, Rajaa and Allah, 20, were later also kidnapped by the group. ...

Palestinian sources told Israel Radio that a 22-year old resident of the village of Jab'ah, south of Jenin, was executed by the brigades on Saturday for allegedly collaborating with Israel.

Fatah executioner tells Post: 'Collaborators deserve to die'

The man who executed two Palestinian women last week after accusing them of collaborating with Israel said Saturday that the killings would continue despite pressure from the Palestinian Authority.

Abu al-Majd, 28, a senior member of Fatah's Aksa Martyrs' Brigades in Tulkarm, told The Jerusalem Post that he pulled the trigger in both cases.

One of the victims, Ikhlas Khouli, 36, a mother of seven, was killed last week, a day after being kidnapped from her home.

On Friday, her 19-year-old niece, Raja Abu Ammar, was also killed in Tulkarm after she allegedly confessed to assisting Israel in the assassination of a local Fatah leader.

 

Here is an example of a Palestinian State government. A 28 year old wild animal with a gun who would be the self elected judge, jury, and executioner of all he personally deems worthy of torture or death either woman or child. These are the heroes of the Islamic Arabs. These are the wonders of the Koran and its Allah. These are the Islamic warriors who fight the Jihad for god and country.

BRINGING THE DEAD SEA BACK TO LIFE

Jordanian and Israeli ministers announced a joint project at the World Summit on Sustainable Development, continuing in Johannesburg this week, entailing the two countries channeling water from the Red Sea at Eilat north to the Dead Sea.

The level of the Dead Sea has dropped 15 meters in recent years, and is now 410 meters below sea level. Lower flow rates in the Jordan River, the main source for the Dead Sea, have caused the drop in water level.

The channel will consist of a series of tunnels, canals and shafts and will be almost entirely in Jordan. Expected costs will be US$1 billion, however, an additional US$3-4 billion will be needed to construct desalination plants, which will siphon off some 850 million liters of water for use in Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

Other than creating much needed drinking water for the area, the project will also help to reestablish the delicate equilibrium of the Dead Sea ecosystems as well as creating employment in Jordan.

Construction will start within 18 months and is expected to take five years to complete.
 

 

God has a much greater plan for the flow of water into the Dead Sea. His plan is to establish a new river that will flow from under the altar of the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount after the reign of Christ begins.  Instead of the waters flowing from the Red Sea at Eilat into the Dead Sea, the flow from under the altar will flow possibly toward the Mediterranean Sea (Ezek 47:9 says rivers - more then one?), and certainly toward  the Dead Sea  quickly filling it to overflowing reversing the direction of the present planed flow. The purpose of this new flow will be for cleansing a polluted planet after the events of the Great Tribulation and Armageddon.

The flow will be small at its source, but will quickly increase until downstream it becomes a mighty river (or rivers?). At its source it will provide cleansing for the altar where blood sacrifice will again be established. The power in the blood will never be diluted, and as it flows from Jerusalem into the seas and then oceans of the world it will cleanse the ravaged planet.

A miracle, you bet! An example of the even greater miracle of the cleansing power available in Christ to any lost sinner coming to Him for restoration and cleansing from sin once and for all.

A river of life powered by the shed blood of Jesus Christ will be the eternal message from Jerusalem, and the coming Millennial Temple of the Jewish Kingdom age!

Russia sends more technicians to Iran for reactor's final phase

MOSCOW — Russia is sending additional technicians and engineers for what officials termed a critical phase in completing a nuclear reactor for Iran.

Officials said Russia has delivered heavy equipment for the shell of the 1,000 megawatt reactor and the turbine at the Persian Gulf port city of Bushehr. They said the equipment began undergoing assembly on Sunday and that Moscow plans to significantly increase the number of Russian engineers and technicians connected to the Bushehr project, valued at $800 million.

"All equipment, provided for by a contract with the Iranian side, was manufactured by Russian factories and successfully brought by sea from St. Petersburg to Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf," Viktor Kozlov, managing director of Atomstroiexport, said. "We have reached the stage of assembling our reactor and the turbine," Middle East Newsline reported.

Kozlov told Russia' Itar-Tass news agency that the current effort seeks to integrate the Russian VVER-1000 light-water reactor as well as a Russian turbine with equipment built and designed by Germany. Germany suspended the Bushehr project in 1982 during Iran's war with Iraq.

Germany had brought a range of equipment to Iran before the Bushehr project was suspended. They included the foundation for a steam turbine along with pumps and ducts, altogether 80,000 pieces of equipment.

Russia plans to complete the assembly of the reactor by the end of 2003, industry sources said. Bushehr is expected to begin operations in early 2005.

Officials said Russia also plans to increase its presence at Bushehr. They said about 600 technicians are already at the nuclear reactor site. Kozov said the number of Russian engineers and technicians at Bushehr will increase to 2,000 by the end of this year. He said housing for the additional personnel has already been built near Bushehr and a direct air link has been completed between the Iranian city and several points in Russia.

 

By 2003, another source for the Islamic Bomb will be in operation. Pakistan will have competition in delivering the Islamic Bomb to the wild animals ready to buy, and use it. Who knows, but the call of Allah Akbar (our god is great) may even override the financial restraints, and either of these Islamic Bomb producers will be willing to hand over free samples as long as no strings can be traced back to them? The time is short. The wild animals are ready. The technology is here. The first target will most likely be Tel Aviv. The rest of the world will be expected to look, and contemplate the cost of being on the wrong side of the Islamic animal's one sided view.

God will need to act soon to circumvent the Islamic Bomb. Ezekiel 38 & 39 reveals a 3 pronged Islamic Invasion of Israel. All of Islam, it's Islamic Bomb plans, it's Islamic Koran. it's Islamic god, and it's Islamic hordes will all find their destiny on the mountains and fields of Israel. The Great Tribulation must be near!

The tide of the Western world seems set against an Iraq invasion by the US. This is the same Western world that is ready to follow the antichrist when he begins his vault to world leadership on a platform of false peace. The time seems ready for the reaping by the man of sin.

The US is the only friend in the world that Israel has. It will not take much for a slick talking politician to change that attitude. The rest of the world is on record saying Israel is not worth the inconvenience of a war with Islam.

Iraq Cobbles Together Weapons Systems With Mixed Results, Analysts Say

In the waning hours of Operation Desert Fox in 1998, a British missile sheared off the top of a military hangar in southern Iraq and exposed a closely guarded secret. Plainly visible in the rubble was a new breed of Iraqi drone aircraft -- one that defense analysts now believe was specially modified to spread deadly chemicals and germs.

Up to a dozen of the unmanned airplanes were spotted inside the hangar, each fitted with spray nozzles and wing-mounted tanks that could carry up to 80 gallons of liquid anthrax. If flown at low altitudes under the right conditions, a single drone could unleash a toxic cloud engulfing several city blocks, a top British defense official concluded. He dubbed them "drones of death."

Today, Iraq's drones loom even larger as the Bush administration weighs a possible new strike against Saddam Hussein. The United States and Britain have charged that the Iraqi president is working to obtain chemical, biological and possibly nuclear weapons. A key unanswered question is whether Iraq has the means to deliver such weapons.

According to U.S. and allied intelligence officials and U.N. documents, Iraq has worked with apparently mixed success to diversify a patchwork collection of delivery vehicles that now includes not only Scud missiles, which it launched during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, but also a variety of novel machines for spraying pathogens and poisons from aircraft. Iraq deployed but never used chemical and biological weapons in the 1991 war. ...

"These aircraft are intended to fly below radar so the Israelis can't detect them -- the Iraqis themselves have said so," said a British biowarfare expert who investigated Iraq's experiments with aircraft-mounted biological weapons. "From that altitude, you can do a lot of damage over a very large area."

The delivery systems believed to be available for such an attack include at least some of the dozen drones targeted in the British raid four years ago. The L-29 aircraft, as the drones are known, are one of at least three types of pilotless planes Iraq has tested for use in biological and chemical attacks, according to U.S. intelligence officials and U.N. documents.

In addition, Iraq is known to have converted crop-dusting gear into a germ-spaying device mounted on helicopters, U.N. files show. It also has developed biowarfare "drop tanks" that can be mounted on Iraq's fastest fighter aircraft.

These little-noticed innovations -- many of them discovered by U.N. weapons inspectors in Iraq -- supplement an established Iraqi ballistic missile program that Pentagon officials say is slowly being rebuilt after being nearly destroyed in previous U.S.-led attacks.

Both the CIA and the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency believe that Iraq's missile arsenal now includes two types of short-range missiles and a small number of medium-range Scuds that Iraq's military managed to hide from U.N. inspectors after the Gulf War. In addition, they say, Iraq probably retains dozens of missile warheads and possibly many more rockets and artillery shells that were filled with biological or chemical weapons years ago.

But large gaps exist in the West's knowledge of each of these programs.

 

The Iraqi's have over 600 tons of chemical/biological war grade stocks ready right now. The delivery systems are the unanswered question? The longer the US waits, the more time Saddam has to perfect his single one time blow intended to wipe out Israel. Saddam cares not about Israel's nuclear response. This egotistical maniac is unmoved by the death of all his people, and even all Palestinian Arabs living in the Holy Land as long as he gets the Jews.  His single vision of grandeur is that he will ever be known in Islamic memory as the prophet who destroyed Israel, and freed the Holy Land from the Jews. His health gives him little time to meet this goal. This attack would be extolled by Islam as the greatest Jihad of all times. The mother of all Jihads! Saddam would become the prophet who willingly sacrificed his entire nation for Allah! I'm sure he would not be resistant to the phrase "Allah is great, and so also his prophets Saddam and Mohamed!"

The time is getting short. The plans of Saddam are contrary to the plans of the God of the Bible. The longer the world waits to deal with this ego maniac, the closer we approach God's answer which is worldwide Armageddon! Only the Jewish Kingdom will survive the God of the Bible's plan!

The start of a new year

Jews around the world are to mark the beginning of the year 5763 on Rosh Hashana, which begins Friday evening and will continue until Sunday night.

The holiday traditionally begins with a festive meal, which includes apples dipped in honey, to symbolize a sweet year.

Worshipers are expected to fill synagogues throughout the country, while others go abroad or to their favorite local vacation sites.

Because tomorrow is Shabbat, the shofar will be blown only on Sunday. For the same reason, the traditional tashlich ceremony, in which worshipers visit a body of water and symbolically cast off the previous year's sins, will also take place Sunday.

Shops and offices are to remain closed until Monday morning. Public transportation will stop tonight and resume Sunday night.

Rosh Hashana is the beginning of the 10 Days of Penitence, culminating in Yom Kippur. The Shabbat between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur is known as Shabbat Shuva, the Sabbath of Repentance.

Monday, the day after Rosh Hashana, is the Fast of Gedaliah, commemorating the murder of the Jewish governor of Judea, appointed by the Babylonians.

The shofar is the quintessential symbol of Rosh Hashana.

During the blowing of the shofar on Rosh Hashana, notice there are three distinct sounds:

1. Tekiah -- one long, straight blast    Hear the sound
2. Shevarim -- three medium, wailing sounds    Hear the sound
3. Teruah -- 9 quick blasts in short succession    Hear the sound

 

Let's examine each of these shofar sounds, and see how they relate to the different themes of Rosh Hashana.

THE TEKIAH SOUND

Rosh Hashana is the day of appreciating who God is. We then internalize that understanding so that it becomes a living, practical part of our everyday reality. God is all-powerful. God is the Creator. God is the Sustainer. God is the Supervisor. In short, God is King of the Universe.

But for many of us, the idea of a "king" conjures up images of a greedy and power-hungry despot who wants to subjugate the masses for his selfish aims.

In Jewish tradition, a king is first and foremost a servant of the people. His only concern is that the people live in happiness and harmony. His decrees and laws are only for the good of the people, not for himself. (see Maimonides, Laws of Kings 2:6)

The object of Rosh Hashana is to crown God as our King. Tekiah -- the long, straight shofar blast -- is the sound of the King's coronation. In the Garden of Eden, Adam's first act was to proclaim God as King. And now, the shofar proclaims to ourselves and to the world: God is our King. We set our values straight and return to the reality of God as the One Who runs the world... guiding history, moving mountains, and caring for each and every human being individually and personally.

Maimonides adds one important qualification: It isn't enough that God is MY King alone. If ALL humanity doesn't recognize God as King, then there is something lacking in my own relationship with God. Part of my love for the Almighty is to help guide all people to an appreciation of Him. Of course this is largely an expression of my deep caring for others. But it also affects my own sense of God's all-encompassing Kingship.

THE SHEVARIM SOUND

When we think about the year gone by, we know deep down that we've failed to live up to our full potential. In the coming year, we yearn not to waste that opportunity ever again. The Kabbalists say that Shevarim -- three medium, wailing blasts -- is the sobbing cry of a Jewish heart -- yearning to connect, to grow, to achieve.

Every person has the ability to change and be great. This can be accomplished much faster than you ever dreamed of. The key is to pray from the bottom of your heart and ask God for the ability to become great. Don't let yourself be constrained by the past. You know you have enormous potential.

At the moment the shofar is blown, we cry out to God from the depths of our soul. This is the moment -- when our souls stand before the Almighty without any barriers -- that we can truly let go.

THE TERUAH SOUND

On Rosh Hashana, we need to wake up and be honest and objective about our lives: Who we are, where we've been, and which direction we're headed. The Teruah sound -- 9 quick blasts in short succession -- resembles an alarm clock, arousing us from our spiritual slumber. The shofar brings clarity, alertness, and focus.

The Talmud says: "When there's judgement from below, there's no need for judgement from above." What this means is that if we take the time to construct a sincere, realistic model of how we've fallen short in the past, and what we expect to change in the future, then God doesn't need to "wake us up" to what we already know.

God wants us to make an honest effort to maximize the gifts He gave us. You aren't expected to be anything you're not. But you can't hoodwink God, either.

The reason we lose touch and make mistakes is because we don't take the time everyday to reconnect with our deepest desires and essence. The solution is to spend time alone everyday, asking: Am I on track? Am I focused? Am I pursuing goals which will make the greatest overall difference in my life and in the world?

Make it a habit to keep in touch with yourself, and when Rosh Hashana comes around, the alarm clock of the shofar won't be nearly as jarring!

Libya may be first Arab state with nukes, Sharon warns

JERUSALEM — Israel has warned the Libya could become the first Arab nation with nuclear weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Libya is working with such countries as Iraq, North Korea and Saudi Arabia to develop missiles and weapons of mass destruction. Sharon indicated that Libya has obtained expertise to launch a project to develop nuclear weapons.

"Libya is becoming perhaps a more dangerous country than we thought," Sharon said on national television on late Wednesday. "Libya may be the first [Arab] country to have the worst kind of weapons of mass destruction."

Iran successfully test fires surface-to-surface missile

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran has successfully test fired a ballistic missile potentially capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

State-run Tehran television reported on Friday that the Fateh 110 A missile had been successfully test fired, but did not say where or when the test happened, nor the missile's range.

Tehran TV described the missile as "one the most accurate surface-to-surface missiles manufactured in the world."

US sends heavy armour to Gulf as campaign grows

Signs that preparations for a new Gulf War are well under way were highlighted yesterday when America stepped up the movement of heavy armour to the Gulf.

The US Navy has booked a giant commercial transporter to take tanks, artillery, ammunition and back-up vehicles to the region. It is the third shipment of arms and military hardware in a month using commercial shipping. Military analysts said it showed the US Navy had probably exhausted the capacity of its own fleet and resorted to the open market.

 

Could it be the invasion of Iraq is going to be a much bigger operation then anyone has been led to believe? Might it be a once and for all war to end Middle East strife, and the strangle hold the Arab dictators have had on oil so vital to the West? Who could stop the US if we decided that colonial type governments like Afghanistan (presented as anything but colonial) friendly to the West were forced on all the Arabs? The average Arab would be better off rid of the potentates who ruled over them up to now.

It can only be speculation for now. I try to look past the war to the false peace that I know must follow. I just can't imagine an Israel at rest dwelling in un-walled cities unless the entire situation in the Middle East were turned upside-down? Things can change very quickly in this post 9/11 world.

The hearts of the Arabs will never change toward the Jews. An Israel at rest would be too big a plum to pass over even for colonialised Arabs. Fast Of Gedalya Today

(Updated Monday 10:15 AM) Jews around the world today (the third day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei) are partaking in a day of fasting and reflection known as the Fast of Gedalya or “Tzom Gedalya.” Gedalya (ben Achikam) was appointed by the Babylonian King Nebuchadnetzer to serve as a Jewish governor in Israel following the destruction of the First Holy Temple in Jerusalem. However, after assuming his post Gedalya was murdered by a fellow Jew. Following his death the Jews living in Israel fled to Egypt fearing reprisals from the Babylonians since it was a Jew who killed Nebuchadnetzer’s appointed leader. Since Gedalya’s death led to an end (temporary) in the Jewish presence in Israel, a fast was established.

Time: Israeli intelligence says Hamas in state of ruin

Israeli intelligence officials assert that 98 percent of the known members of the Hamas military wing have been arrested or killed over the past five months, leaving the terrorist organization in a state of disarray, Time magazine reported Monday.

The report in the magazine, which quotes anonymous intelligence officials, also states that this situation has led to a debate within Hamas, with some activists calling for a temporary halt to terror attacks lest the group be "wiped out as a political as well as a military force."

Opposition to this view comes from Hamas activists mainly outside the West Bank and Gaza Strip, who maintain, that "It's more important than ever to show Israel that it can't stop Hamas," the magazine reports.

The magazine quotes the officials as saying that the Israeli military crackdown in the West Bank, which began in April after the suicide bombing on the first night of Pesach that killed 29 people at the Park Hotel in Netanya, has caused severe disruption to the group, making it "no longer possible for cells to organize across different areas."

 

 

Fifty four years ago the world didn't know what to do with the displaced Jews of Europe after World War Two. I believe the behind the scene thinking by many was let's just let the Arabs finish what Hitler began. The miracle victory of Israel in 1948 against all odds caused frustration on the part of those who hold ill will toward the Jews. The frustration increased in 1967 when Israel emerged as a powerhouse unto themselves.  Now again, the covert war of attrition aimed not at the impossible task of the cry baby destroying the giant, but rather the tormenting of Jews forever has also failed. PALESTINIAN BESTSELLER PREDICTS END OF AMERICA

On the eve of the first anniversary of the American attacks of last September 11, a booklet that anticipates the destruction of the United States by 2004 has become a best seller in the Palestinian areas.

The booklet compares today's geo-political reality with that of ancient Egypt in the time of Moses. Among other methods, it does this by turning to the Koran to see the physical similarities between the Hebrew deliverer Moses and Osama bin Laden.

Both are described as being tall, dark, and having an aquiline nose. Like Moses, bin Laden is said to use a stick to lean on while walking, and to belong to the same tribe from the Arabian Peninsula. [Islam teaches that Moses and other prominent biblical figures were actually Muslims - Ed.]

The booklet also looks at the policies of US President George Bush and that of the pharaohs.

The author, Abu Arafeh, explains that he found many "striking similarities between the US administration and the corrupt Pharaoh who oppressed the believers and enslaved them."

The book quotes Allah in the Koran, when he said to the believers: "Truly Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and divided its people into sections, depressing a group among them; their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: For he was indeed an evil-doer or corrupter. And we wished to be gracious to those who were weakened in the land, to make them leaders and inheritors, to establish a firm place for them in the land and to show Pharaoh and his hosts what they were dreading from them."

The booklet is entitled "The Koran Anticipates the Destruction of the US and the Sinking of the American Army" and is selling for two shekels.

According to what the author is claiming as a thoroughly researched work, one of the definitions of Pharaoh is "big house." Indeed, according to the book, Pharaoh was known to have lived in a house built with white stones.

The author also claims that he was also astonished to discover that the picture of the pyramids is printed on US dollar bills. Moreover, the symbol of Egypt's pharaoh was the eagle, "which is the same symbol of the pharaoh of America and the White House. And anyone who visited Washington knows that the White House keeps a pharaoh obelisk in one of its gardens."

Another Koranic verse cited reads: "And we leveled to the ground the great work and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected."

In related news, Palestinian journalists have reported that they are not allowed to cover any celebrations amongst the Palestinian population to mark the attacks in New York and Washington DC last year. They have been threatened with jail.

The Palestinian Authority was embarrassed last year when scenes of joyful civilians were shown around the world in the hours after the attacks.

What really happened on 9/11 was that Islam declared war on the God of the Bible. They believe that within the babblings of the Koran are hidden the destruction of the US, and it's Christian God by Allah! Once the US is destroyed it would be just a little thing they think to destroy Israel. They actually believe that Allah will subjugate the whole world, and turn it into a sexually perverted paradise for the warriors of Allah. Islam waits on the wild animals it has unleashed to do the dirty work while they innocently stand by expecting to reap the harvest (the sheiks of Saudi Arabia lead).

Abu Arafeh got one thing right. Osama bin Laden and "the big house" if he's not dead already. The future fate of the US is of little consequence in the Biblical record. It's glory will all be of the past once the Church age ends. It is a glorious past, but the future belongs to Israel. It is the future glory of Israel that finishes the greatest story ever told!

Allah and the Koran will find the same fate as Horus, Baal, Osiris, Dagon, Moloch, and all the other little gods who had a moment in the sun, but never saw the light of day again! The worshipers of Allah will find the same fate as those who worshipped those extinct gods of so long ago! They all rejected the God of the Bible, and ended up on the dung heap of human history.

Shas To Work Towards Opening Joseph's Tomb to Jews

(IsraelNN.com) Shas Party leader Minister Eli Yishai today stated he and his colleagues would now work towards reopening Joseph's Tomb in Shechem to Jewish visitors and worshipers. The senior cabinet minister made his remarks while visiting Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem, accompanied by other elected party officials.

Shas announced this week that its effort were instrumental towards the decision to include Rachel's Tomb in the security fence now under construction, instead of the holy site remaining on the PA side of the fence as was originally planned.

 

This is a small item among all the impending war disclosers, but it is significant in relation to Jewish sovereignty over the Holy Land. Twice the Palestinians had packed the Tomb of Joseph with explosives, and were but moments away from doing what the Taliban did to the Buddha's in Afghanistan. The Tomb of Joseph would truly be history were it not for the Israeli Defense Forces intervening. The Palestinians have lost all credibility as a government that would protect religious shrines under their control which belonging to the world. The secular Jewish government has no real interest beyond political advantage in either the mother - son Tombs of Rachel and Joseph. Yet, God through circumstances continues to grant the Jews more and more sovereignty even when they would rather not. With sovereignty comes responsibility, and all the headaches that are included. God continues to be the real sovereign of the Holy Land, and the Jews unwillingly for now the appointed overseers. The religions of the world must step aside as the God of the Bible expresses His Sovereignty over the Holy Land!

Soon the issue of sovereignty will be applied to the Temple Mount. The Jews can never return to Biblical Judaism without the Temple. Blood sacrifice is the only way the Jews of Israel will ever be able to turn in a meaningful way to the Christ of the New Testament. The Temple Mount must come under exclusive Jewish sovereignty before the Biblical Jewish Kingdom can be established.

P.A. Television Puts The Lie To No-Terrorism Call

Barely a day after Yasser Arafat called for ending terrorism against Israeli civilians, the official PA television station broadcast ten minutes of films calling expressly for violence against Israel. Michael Widlanski of The Media Line reports that the clips featured scenes of youths throwing rocks and firebombs and shooting at Israeli forces. The scenes were shown together with martial music and repeated narrative calls such as, "Oh, masses of the occupied land, go forward with the revolution against the enemy." Arafat himself was shown carrying weapons and even in the midst attacking Israeli targets, in footage taken more than two decades ago.

"Arafat has been deliberately offering a mixture of messages," Widlanski notes, "one aimed largely at Western audiences, and one aimed mostly at his own Palestinian constituency."

 

Sovereignty means submission. It seems clear to me Arafat will never submit. The secular Jews of today are not demanding total sovereignty over the conquered Arabs, but rather seeking a limited submission for the benefit of both peoples. Arafat has frustrated all attempts at compromise.

Soon, God is going to step into the affairs of His Land more forcefully then at present. On that day, He will demand total sovereignty. There will be no compromise! It will be God's way, and only God's way. The coming Jewish Kingdom is based on the rule of righteousness. It will be God's righteousness as symbolized in the iron rod rule! There will be no compromise! A truly puritanical Kingdom will rule the world for 1000 years.

Born again Christians have long understood the sovereignty of God as it works in salvation. We have long stood on the truth that coming to Christ is coming to the sovereign God of the Bible. It is not religion that saves, but only the Christ of the Bible! We know, and always have known there is no other way! It is Christ alone with no compromise. It is Christ alone, and not the virgin Mary, or speaking in tongues, or any other manmade substituted add-ons. It is coming to the sovereign God of the Bible! In the next dispensation it will remain Christ/Messiah alone, but this time He will establish a Biblical Jewish Kingdom on earth for 1000 years. There will be no compromise allowed. Mankind must be taught that the only freedom worth having can only come under a system of total sovereignty ruled over by God Himself. Eternal life means eternal submission to the Holy God of the Bible. Total submission is mandatory so sin will never rear it's ugly head for all eternity future. God for His part promises total sanctification granted to all who come His way (through His Messiah). We will actually be able to live without sin! What a wonderful day is yet to come!

Yom Kippur is the most holy day in Judaism. In days of old when Biblical Judaism was practiced, the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies on this one day alone to make symbolic atonement for the sins of the entire nation with the blood of sacrifice. That blood of sacrifice was always looking forward to the always intended representation of the blood Jesus Christ would be sacrificing at Calvary, for all sin, for all time, for all who would ever come to the sovereign God of the Bible! Biblical Judaism always pointed to the coming Messiah/Savior.

Soon, a Third Jewish Temple will be built, and Biblical Judaism will again be put into practice. Yom Kippur will again find the High Priest bringing the blood of sacrifice into the Holy of Holies for the atonement of sins. In this future era the blood of sacrifice will look back to what the Lord Jesus Christ did at Calvary.

Today, the Chief Prince of the old USSR is stirring. It is the Moslems North of the Caucasus Mountains that will lead the last Jihad of Ezekiel 38 & 39. Islam is opposed to the single atonement made by the Jewish Messiah at His first coming. Prayers At Joseph's Tomb - Two Years After

Close to 100 Jews took advantage of special military permission to pray at Joseph's Tomb in Shechem last night - the first time that Jews have been allowed to do so in two years. Buses and private cars brought the worshipers, including family members of terrorism victims from Itamar and other nearby locations. They recited the special Ten Days of Repentance prayers - s'lichot - and afterwards heard a Torah lecture from Rabbi Yitzchak Ginzburg, head of Yeshivat Od Yosef Chai that stood there for many years until 2000. Yigal Lalom, one of the worshipers, told Arutz-7 that the Arabs had destroyed everything in the compound, including all vestiges of the yeshiva.

Organizers said that not only were the worshipers very moved and excited by the event, but that the soldiers and officers were also noticeably happy, and that the latter expressed hope that the Jews would return there again. Yesha Council director and Shomron Regional Council head Bentzy Lieberman, who also took part in the prayers, said, "This was a very moving event, as exactly two years have passed since the site was close to Jewish worship. This represents the closing of a circle of that disgrace, and the beginning of victory over the Palestinians."

Following the prayers, the convoy of cars and buses stopped at a nearby cave where Rabbi Hillel Lieberman's body was found two years ago. Rabbi Lieberman, one of the first victims of the Oslo War, was brutally murdered by Arabs on his way to rescue Torah scrolls from the Arab mob that took over Joseph's Tomb. The worshipers this morning said a chapter of Psalms and a prayer at the cave.
