Arafat breakdown: Feared he had been poisoned

SPECIAL TO WORLD TRIBUNE.COM

Tuesday, September 30, 2003

RAMALLAH — Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat appears to have recovered from exhaustion.

Palestinian sources said Arafat was concerned that he had been poisoned as part of an assassination plot by Israel and the United States. They said that Arafat sent for a medical team from Jordan when his own physicians could not determine his ailment.

"He was very tired and alarmed that he had been poisoned," a source said. "After a few days of arrest and a thorough examination, he's back at work again. The crisis is over." Over the weekend, Arafat, 74, complained of nausea and canceled virtually all of his meetings. The exception was a brief session with Prime Minister-designate Ahmed Qurei on Monday, Middle East Newsline reported.

The absence of Arafat over the weekend sparked rumors that he had been incapacitated by a heart attack. After he completed his tests on Monday, Arafat emerged from PA headquarters in Ramallah smiling.

Palestinian sources said Arafat resumed his normal schedule on Tuesday after three days of relative inactivity. The sources said the PA chairman was given a clean bill of health by a team of physicians who arrived from Jordan in an emergency visit on Monday.

The team of Jordanian physicians arrived by special plane on Monday to examine the PA chairman. The team included leading Jordanian coronary specialist, Yusef Kasus and Arafat's personal physician, Ashraf Kurdi.

The Jordanian team gave Arafat a range of tests and left Ramallah on late Monday. The team was said to have found that Arafat was merely exhausted and was not poisoned. In June, Arafat accused Israel of trying to poison him.

Arafat was said to have come under great stress over the last month after he forced the resignation of Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas and searched for a replacement. Sources said that as early as two weeks ago, Arafat was unable to stand up for more than a minute when meeting Palestinian dignitaries.

Everything wrong in the Islamic culture must be blamed on the Jews, or Jew lovers. It is no wonder that when Arafat got sick it could not be just the average flu bug, but had to be a conspiracy of a joint US/Israeli attempt at a secret assassination. The hate for Jews makes such a charge no matter how ridiculous believable to the Arabs. Arafat is an old man ready for dearth, but no matter how it happens the Jews will be blamed. The Islamic culture will believe no other explanation then that the Jews are at fault! How can there be a road map to peace with a culture/religion that will only believe lies based on hate against Jews? Arafat has visions of being the Islamic Messiah leading a victorious Moslem army into Jerusalem. It is not possible for this kind of visionary ever to be at peace with a Jewish Kingdom with it's capital at Jerusalem.

Everything wrong with the world theologically is blamed on the Jews by another old man who is ready to die. He also hates Jews, but is more subtle. He also is a visionary who believes that a Pope will someday lead a Christian Catholic army into Jerusalem claiming it for the Catholic Christ. This Pope is beyond such visions for himself, but packed the College of Cardinals with only those who hold to this particular theology. Every appointee believes in replacement theology where the Catholic Church is replaced for Israel, and the Jews everywhere in the Bible where there are prophecies about future glory. It is impossible for peace with the Jews now in sovereign control of the Holy Land with those who hold to this faulty visionary theology. God is not going to change the Jews into good Catholics any more then He will change them into good Moslems. God is going to change the Jews into Biblical Jews. God is not going to form another religion, or write a Newer Testament. His plan is to bring Jews back to the Bible. All the Old Testament laws are testimonials to the sacrificial death making an atonement for sin, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All the laws pertaining to the Temple are wholly connected to the Biblical Christ! It is only this Christ who can save. It is this Christ who will be worshipped in the next Jewish Temple to be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and in the Holy Land! Christ is the only law of the House that sits on the top of the mountain! He was the only law! He is the only law! He will be the only law! This is because He is the fullness of the law! Every Old Testament Jewish law was, and is fully centered in the person of Christ! This is not a new religion; It is the Bible!

The Fullness of the Temple Law

Matt 5:17-20

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Israel Plans More West Bank Settlements

Big News Network.com     Friday 3rd October, 2003

Ignoring the road map peace plan, Israel issued plans Thursday for about 600 more homes in West Bank settlements, CNN reported.

The Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz advertised government tenders for building housing units in three West Bank settlements, which called for 530 housing units in the Beitar Ilit settlement, 24 units in the settlement of Ariel and 50 units in the settlement of Maale Adumim.

The move came one day after the Israeli Cabinet approved a plan to build the next segment of a controversial security wall Israel says will keep terrorists out of the country.

Reacting to the Israeli plans to build more homes, Yasser Abed Rabbo, an acting Palestinian Cabinet minister, said the Israeli government always wanted to assassinate the road map, and they are doing just that.

The road map to Mideast peace -- backed by the United States, United Nations, European Union and Russia -- is aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and establishing an independent Palestinian state by 2005.

These additional housing units authorized by the government are not part of a government plan, but rather a response to individual Israelis demanding a place to live in Judah and Samaria. The settlement movement in Israel is independently motivated. The government always seems a few steps behind what independent Jews are already doing. It is the conquest of the occupied Holy Land. The Jews continue to expand while the Arabs continue to be consolidated. It has nothing to do with numbers because the Arabs outnumber the Jews, and it has nothing to do with conspiracies or plans. It has everything to do with dispensational change coming to the Holy Land!

The two State road map was killed by Arafat. Now the Palestinian Arabs are blaming the Jews for it's demise. The truth is the two State solution was never part of God's dispensational plan for the future of the Holy Land. The Bible is explicitly clear that the future of the Holy Land is Jewish! There is no room for compromise! There can only be humble submission.

Ezek 37:7-14

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

Lev 23:27-28

27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
KJV

The sacrifice made by fire is the only thing missing. The Jews can never be obedient to the Bible until a Jewish Temple with an altar stands on the Temple Mount!

Gov't sources: response to attack will be harsh

By David Ratner, Haaretz Correspondent, Haaretz Service and Agencies

Government sources said Saturday that Israel would respond harshly to the suicide bomb attack in Haifa, and that the response might come as early as Saturday evening.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon convened a meeting of senior political and defense officials shortly after the attack, in which 18 people were killed, to discuss Israel's response.

Government sources said Israel would discuss the decision by the security cabinet last month to "remove" Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat.

Speaking shortly after the suicide bomb attack Saturday in Haifa, Health Minister Dani Naveh said Israel should "seize this opportunity to get rid of Arafat."

The attack, Naveh added, was further evidence to those arguing over whether the Palestinian Authority chairman's presence in the region or his expulsion would cause greater damage, that Arafat's "presence is far more damaging."

Former Labor Party leader Amram Mitzna disagreed, saying that removing Arafat would be like "looking for the solution in the wrong place." His removal, Mitzna said, would only increase the hatred and violence.

David Baker, an official in Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's office, said  Israel demands that the Palestinian Authority take immediate steps against militant groups. "The bombing in Haifa is another indication that the Palestinian Authority continues to refuse to take even minimal steps against the terrorist infrastructure," he said.  ...

U.S. says PA must act now against terror
The United States condemned the bombing and urged the Palestinian leadership to take steps to halt further attacks.

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms these horrific acts of terrorism," a State Department spokeswoman said. "This clearly illustrates why the Palestinian Authority must act now to dismantle the terrorist capacity and networks that perpetrate such attacks and to prevent any future attacks."

The Bush administration has blamed the Palestinians for the stalemate over the blueprint for establishing peace in the Middle East and called on them to form a government with the authority, resources and commitment to crack down on militants.

This was an Arab owned restaurant patronized by Arabs as well as Jews. The terrorists are getting so frustrated seeking success that they are willing to cut off their own foot. They are willing to sacrifice Arab civilians in their effort to murder Jews. Many Arabs have already been the victims of the suicide murders, but they were not the target. Now they are!

The Islamic Palestinian Arabs have created a culture built on hate  which has turned on them. No Arab is safe in the Holy Land. They are in the crosshairs from both ends. It is the release of the wild animals of their society that have come back to bite them. They thought they were releasing a plague on the Jews, but now find themselves the victims.

The Jews have a fifty plus year record of treating the Arabs of Jewish society fairly. It is not perfect, but compared to Arab culture it is wonderful. The world glosses over the million plus Arabs who live in Israel peacefully. The only requirement is that they accept Israeli sovereignty. The world would rather focus on Arafat, and the Palestinian Authority who stimulate the hate against Jews.

There is only one blueprint for peace that will work in the Middle East. It is found in the Bible. It is revealed as the next dispensation coming to planet earth. It is the age of the Kingdom centered in the Holy Land, at Jerusalem, and on the Temple Mount.

The Holiness expressed at Yom Kippur is destine to expand beyond the Holy Land, and engulf the whole world. The times of the gentiles is ending, and the times of the Jewish Kingdom about to begin!

The Atonement

Neh 10:32-33

32 Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;

33 For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
KJV

Rom 5:11-17

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Israeli Warplanes Bomb Target Deep Inside Syrian Territory

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Published: October 5, 2003

JERUSALEM -- Israeli warplanes bombed Syria on Sunday, striking what the military called an Islamic Jihad training base in retaliation for a suicide bombing at a Haifa restaurant. It was the first Israeli attack deep inside Syrian territory in three decades.

The attack -- one day after an Islamic Jihad bomber killed 19 people -- threatened to widen three years of Israeli-Palestinian violence into neighboring countries and marked a dramatic new strategy in Israel's efforts to stop terror attacks.

Israel, which accuses Syria of harboring and funding Islamic Jihad, said it would strike at terrorists anywhere in the region. A statement from the military also accused Iran of funding and directing Islamic Jihad, saying Israel "will act with determination against all who harm its citizens."

"Any country who harbors terrorism, who trains (terrorists), supports and encourages them will be responsible to answer for their actions," government spokesman Avi Pazner said.

Syria's Foreign Ministry issued a terse statement saying it plans to lodge an "urgent complaint" against Israel with the United Nations. But a direct military response by Syria appeared unlikely. One parliament member, George Jabbour, said military action has not benefitted Syria in the past.

A Jihad spokesman denied the organization has any bases in Syria. A senior commander from another radical Palestinian group -- the Damascus-based Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command -- said the camp belong to his group, not Jihad, but had long been abandoned. The attack injured a civilian guard, the commander said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

President Bush on Sunday telephoned condolences to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon for Saturday's suicide attack, while Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon conferred with White House and State Department officials.

"We urge all sides to exercise restraint and to keep in mind the consequences of their actions," the State Department said in a statement.

Sunday's strike came a day before the 30th anniversary of the joint Syrian-Egyptian attack known in Israel as the Yom Kippur War -- named after the holiest day in the Jewish calendar which begins at sundown Sunday. It was believed to be the first Israeli operation on Syrian soil since that war, though in 1985 Israeli warplanes flying over Lebanon pursued Syrian fighters into Syrian airspace and shot them down.

In Sunday's strike, the Israeli air force hit several targets at the Ein Saheb camp about 14 miles northwest of Damascus, according to Israeli security officials. The base was used by several terrorist organizations, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the army said in a statement.

Undated footage of the camp released by the Israeli military and taken from Iranian television shows a military officer conducting a tour. In one room were displayed hundreds of weapons, including grenades with Hebrew markings and other weapons apparently captured from Israel. Another scene showed a series of underground tunnels packed with arms and ammunition.

Israel had not yet determined if any people were killed, said Sharon adviser Raanan Gissin. "This was a measured response," he said. "We did not attack Syrian targets, but very specific camps used to train the terrorists."

Speaking on the Al-Jazeera television network, Abu Emad El-Refaei, an Islamic Jihad spokesman in Beirut, denied there were any Islamic Jihad bases in Syria. "All our bases are inside the Palestinian occupied territories," he said. He did not deny militants received training in Syria.

The strike was a dramatic escalation in Israel's response to the suicide bombings that have plagued it during the past three years of violence with the Palestinians. Until now, Israel has focused its retaliation on the Gaza Strip and West Bank, either with large-scale incursions or pinpoint strikes against militant leaders.

Now Israel insisted it was going after the militants' suppport abroad, but the strike threatened to draw Syria into the conflict.

It could be war, but the Arabs will most likely cry to the gentile UN for conciliation. Israel is not playing by the gentile rules. Israel is to continually be tormented for occupying the Holy Land by gentile standards. I think the gentile world has consoled itself to the fact that the Jews are back, but the cost of defiance for not being the silent victim of cruelty as happened during the Holocaust is going to be great. Israel must act apart from world opinion. The Jews stand alone with the exception of the US. Soon, even the US will withdraw after the rapture leaving the world divided by Jew and gentle once again. It is all part of God's plan to make the Jews realize Who is their strength! Can little Israel survive the wrath of the entire gentile world? The Bible says yes!

The next dispensation of the Jewish Kingdom is at hand. The Jews must stand in defiance of all gentile rule. They alone will represent the God of the Bible in the next dispensation. It is the gentiles who must come to the Jews. All the hate will end by submission or judgment. The Jews are going to turn again to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They will turn back to the Bible in obedience to the commandments. They will obey the laws of the Temple. Not until then can they be Biblical Jews. Yom Kippur must have a Holy of Holies to be Biblical. True holiness and righteousness must come to the Temple Mount. The gentile world must repent of all anti-Semitism, and come to love the Jewish King along with His chosen people. There is no other way for real peace to come to this world.

There will be real rejoicing in Israel, Jerusalem, and on the Temple Mount, but only when Biblical atonement is again demonstrated to all the nations by remembrance of Calvary on the altar of a Jewish Temple! I believe the Lord Jesus Christ will sit on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies on that day, but the curtain that was rent in two at His death will never be replaced. The Holy of Holies will be open for all to see the atonement God made for sin!

Jewish Kingdom is Best for the Gentiles

Psalms 67

67:1 To the chief Musician on Neg'-i-noth, A Psalm or Song.
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Assad faces tough choices after Israeli raid on Syria

06.10.2003
11.45am

BEIRUT - An Israeli strike deep into Syria on Sunday is the boldest warning yet to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to co-operate with Israel and the United States to curb militants in Palestinian areas and Iraq, analysts said.

With the military balance overwhelmingly in Israel's favour, Syrian military retaliation is ruled out, leaving diplomacy as Assad's main tool to confront the mounting challenges from his southern and eastern neighbours.

The United States wants Syria to do more to stop the influx of Muslim militants crossing the eastern border to Iraq. Washington blames "foreign terrorists" for playing a key role in attacks against US soldiers and other targets in post-war Iraq.

Israel demands Damascus halts its backing for militant Palestinian groups and Lebanon's Hizbollah guerrillas.

Beirut-based political scientist Walid Moubarak said that by attacking Syria, Israel was trying to show that it was battling the same enemy as the United States.

"The Israelis are trying to associate their strategy with the American strategy of fighting terrorism and stepping up pressure on Syria," Moubarak told Reuters.

"The strike comes in line with a process to increase the pressure on Syria to co-operate more with Israel and the United States to get rid of Palestinian militants and to stop the influx of Muslim 'terrorists' from Syria into Iraq," he said.

The raid was Israel's first deep strike inside Syria since the 1973 Middle East war.

The dream of secular Jews has long been to subdue their immediate Arab neighbors giving them a buffer against the rest of the Islamic world which will always hate Israel. Syria and it's control over Lebanon is the last piece of the dream needing to fall into place. Egypt and Jordan are sufficiently subdued to be no threat anymore. Now, is the right time with the US in Iraq for Syria to be subdued! This could lead to the false peace predicted by Ezekiel just before the "Last Jihad" invasion of Ezekiel 38 & 39?

I think what might be happening is that the Jews are about to learn a terrible lesson. They are about to think by their own prowess they have won the battle over Islam. They will put down their guard trusting in their friendship with the gentile US to maintain peace and security. The lesson is that only the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is where they should place their trust. Only the God of the Bible can ever be their strength! The coming Ezekiel Islamic Invasion is intended to force the Jews to turn back to their God, and demonstrate the power of their God to the heathen gentiles. The Bible says the Jews learn the lesson, but the gentiles continue on the road to Armageddon!

Dispensational change means the end of the times of the gentiles, and the beginning of the Jewish Kingdom Age. The world can either submit to the God of the Bible, or face His wrath. The King of the Jews is coming again with power and great glory. Only God's plan for the future of the Holy Land will ever come to fruition. The fig tree is back in the Holy Land. It has just started to grow. It is yet tender, but putting forth leaves. The Kingdom is at the doors!

The Kingdom is Near

Matt 24:27-34

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Heavy clashes reported along border

Big News Network.com     Tuesday 7th October, 2003

Heavy clashes were reported Monday between Israeli forces and Hezbollah guerillas along the border with Lebanon, The Jerusalem Post said.

The clashes began after Hezbollah gunners opened fire on Israeli positions along the border near Metula, the report said.

Israeli forces reportedly shelled targets in the village of Shuba near the Har Dov region.

An official of the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon, a peacekeeping force that regularly sends patrols along the border on the Lebanese side of the frontier, said there was a shooting incident and that it was investigating.

Lebanese media said Israeli helicopters fired missiles at a motor convoy near the village of Khila in southern Lebanon. There have been no reports of injuries as of yet.

Israel denied the allegation.

The escalation along the northern border comes one day after Israeli jets bombed an Islamic Jihad terrorist training camp deep inside Syrian territory.

One Israeli soldier was killed and another wounded as Hezbollah fired across the "good will" fence separating Israel from Lebanon. The value of the UN in the Middle East conflict again proves how foolish it is to think they could do anything. The last time I read anything about these same UN peacekeepers was when a large force of Hezbollah operating in the UN's area of responsibility crossed over into Israel, and captured an isolated Israeli patrol of three soldiers. This was done in clear view of the UN camp, and the commander even gave an eye witness report of the entire operation. His explanation for inaction was "these people are all crazy," and he wouldn't expose his men to danger. The incident today is typical of UN inaction in the Middle East. A meaningless investigation which will put more blame on the Jews then the Arabs.

These same UN forces will probably some day guarantee Israeli security before the great Islamic invasion of Ezekiel 38 & 39. I'm sure they will investigate the hordes of fanatical Moslems coming out of the North flowing over the Caucasus Mountains. I'm sure the peacekeepers will observe Turkey join into the frenzy. They will watch Iran move from the East, and other observers will watch all of North Africa move up from the South. I expect while they are writing their reports the God of the Bible will act. This mighty Islamic army is destine to die on the mountains and fields of Israel!

Everything planed for the Holy Land in the Bible is aimed at opening the door for the building of the next Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. God has brought the Jews back. The occupation is steadily moving forward to conquest. It is all leading to a call to build the Last Biblical Jewish Temple. Islam must step aside for the God of the Bible, or face His wrath! Ezekiel 39 describes the aftermath of the last Jihad Islamic invasion of Israel. Ezekiel 39 opens the way for the Jews to again practice Old Testament Judaism as God always intended His worship be conducted. All sacrifice will be done in this coming Temple as a remembrance of Calvary. The blood of Christ will again be demonstrated to the world as the only acceptable way to forgiveness from sin!

Ezek 39:8-13

8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.

12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.

Israel calls up reserve soldiers

Big News Network.com     Wednesday 8th October, 2003

Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, reacting to increased terrorist attacks, approved Tuesday a limited call-up of Israel Defense Forces reserve soldiers.

The Ha'aretz news agency said the call-up is designed to tighten security along the boundary with the West Bank. It will allow a call-up of Israeli reserve personnel whose deployment will be decided by the army's operational command, based on developments in the field.

President Bush Tuesday reiterated his insistence that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has the right to defend Israel. Encouraged by the statement, Sharon said Israel would strike at its enemies in any place and in any way. He added, At the same time we will not miss any opening and opportunity to reach an agreement with our neighbors and peace.

Israeli Defense Forces increased the number of units stationed along the eastern sector of the Lebanese border Tuesday. The action followed a mortar attack on northern Israel late Monday night and an overnight cross-border anti-tank missile attack on a military outpost.

The incidents marked the first time since April 2002 that Hezbollah or any other Lebanese group has launched an attack on Israeli territory.

ISRAEL, US CLOSE RANKS AGAINST SYRIA

According to intelligence material obtained by The Jerusalem Post a complex Syrian-run and Iranian-financed terrorist network is operating out of Damascus, engaged in money laundering, weapons smuggling, and terrorist training in as many as eight remaining military camps on Syrian soil.

The ninth and largely abandoned camp at Ein Saheb, only a short distance from the Syrian capital, was destroyed by Israeli fighter bombers early Sunday – the first such strike on Syria for 30 years.

While the New York Times editorial Wednesday dubbed the attack “a recklessly inappropriate Israeli military reprisal,” Israel hardened its case against long-term Syrian patronage of Middle East terror on Tuesday, blaming the regime of President Bashar Assad directly for the ongoing loss of Israeli life at the hands of Palestinian suicide bombers.

The intelligence report points to Syria’s sheltering of terrorist training camps and political offices alongside its active use of Hizb’Allah guerillas to fight a proxy war of attrition against Israel along the Lebanese border. It also identifies the leadership of some 17 terrorist groups and their affiliates, all of whom are believed to be targeted by Israel.

Speaking Tuesday during a memorial service for those who died in the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon warned that "Israel will attack its enemies in any place and in any way," a clear indication that further strikes against Syria could follow.

Responding to Sharon’s comments US President George W. Bush for the second time this week refused to condemn the Israeli action, describing it as "essential" to the campaign to stamp out terror.

"The prime minister must defend his country. It's essential," Bush told reporters when asked if he thought Israel’s military response to Saturday’s suicide bombing in Haifa was a problem – warning only that Sharon should “avoid escalating violence."

"The decisions he makes to defend [Israel's] people are valid decisions. We would be doing the same thing,” Bush retorted.

Although Assad himself stopped short of calling for retaliatory action following the Israeli airstrike he has steadfastly refused to eject Palestinian terrorist groups headquartered in Damascus. "They have broken no laws. They are not terrorists," he declared Tuesday, after accusing Israel of dragging the region into war.

But Israeli intelligence charges that huge sums of Iranian cash are being funneled and laundered through the Syrian national banking system directly to Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Fatah-linked Aksa Martyrs Brigade activists in the territories with the consent of Assad’s regime.

In Washington an influential US Congressional committee prepared to vote on a new law Wednesday authorizing Bush to impose heavy sanctions on Syria for its sponsorship of terror, pursuit of non-conventional weapons and ongoing occupation of Lebanon – a law the White House has indicated it will no longer oppose.

It is the latest in a long series of signs indicating the US administration loss of patience with Syria’s meddling in Iraq and support for the ousted regime of Saddam Hussein.

It looks like Syria has made a big mistake by thinking they could play the same old game of tongue in cheek terrorism. "They have broken no laws" is not working anymore! It works with the international community, but not with Israel and the US. 9/11 has changed the rules of the game.

It was always clear that George Bush Senior made a big mistake by not finishing the first war with Iraq. He did not keep going until Saddam was eliminated. I have personally felt George Bush Junior was making a similar mistake by not finishing the second war with Iraq. The job will not be complete until a hostel Syria is eliminated. It is all about giving Israel a security buffer from the rest of the Islamic world. Egypt and Jordan have been effectively subdued. All that is left is Syria with it's vassal Lebanon. This will establish the dream of secular Israel for security. A secular plan that the Bible says will fail very quickly! The Jews of Israel are yet to learn that the only place they can put their trust is in the God of the Bible. Only He is their strength, and all others will fail! The dreams will all turn into nightmares until the Jews once again come back to the God of the Bible.

The price of US support for this phony peace plan is a Palestinian State. This will prove to be the biggest mistake of all! It is the placement of a heathen Islamic State in the heart of the Holy Land. It is a gentile slap in the face to the God pf the Bible who has clearly defined His plans for the future of the Holy Land. The placement of a heathen Palestinian State in the midst of the coming Jewish Kingdom defies the Bible! It is a road block not a road map! It is the making of a nightmare not the fulfillment of a dream! A Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is the only way for Jews to keep all the Biblical commands, and statutes given to them by their God!

Two Jewish Prophets Called to Build

Hag 1:4-14

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
9 Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.
11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.
13 Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

Sharon warns he may block Palestinian state plans

By Dan Williams in Jerusalem
October 10, 2003

Israel will send troop reinforcements into Palestinian areas and has cleared the way for a call-up of army reservists amid fears of a new wave of suicide bombings.

Citing the continued tensions, the Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, told members of his right-wing Likud party he would block the establishment of a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip if the Palestinian Authority did not rein in militants.

But in an effort to ease a war of words, the Defence Minister, Shaul Mofaz, said Israel did not want to escalate the violence but would continue to insist militants be barred from operating out of Syria.

The strains arose after the Israeli air strike in Syria on Sunday on what Israel said was a training camp for Palestinian militants near Damascus, one day after a Palestinian suicide bombing which killed 19 people in the Israeli city of Haifa.

Syria's ambassador to Spain warned Damascus could respond militarily if Israel launched more attacks. Later an official source in Syria said the envoy's comments were his "personal understanding of the official

Mr Sharon's cabinet announced no main decisions after a meeting on Wednesday. Some ministers want to carry out a threat to "remove" the Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat. Mr Sharon has opposed this, saying it could be counterproductive.

But he told a municipal election rally near Tel Aviv that if the Palestinian Authority failed to meet a commitment under the US-backed "road map" peace plan to subdue militants, "there shall be no Palestinian state".

Mr Mofaz also told ministers at the cabinet meeting that he had "ordered an immediate reinforcement of Israeli troops, regular and reserves" in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and suggested further call-ups would be considered.

Israeli television reported that several brigades were expected to be called up after the week-long Jewish Sukkot holiday that starts today.

Mr Mofaz said Israeli soldiers had tightened a blockade in the Palestinian areas, barring Palestinian travel between cities and into Israel, as part of a measures ordered before the holiday.

The Gaza Strip is already divided by checkpoints into four sections and restrictions are tight in the West Bank. Israel says such steps are needed for security reasons but Palestinians and human rights groups call them collective punishment.

In fresh violence on Wednesday Palestinian gunmen fired on an Israeli military vehicle near the city of Nablus, wounding three soldiers, military sources said.

The Palestinian culture has so poisoned this generation of Arab youth that an end to terrorism is no longer possible. The hate is just too great. The reality of the situation seems destine to prevent the implication of the gentile road map. A Palestinian State in the Holy Land will not happen because the leopard can't change his spots. The hate has grown beyond repentance even after God changes the hearts of the Jews.  This generation of Palestinian Arabs will never submit to a Jewish King. I'm sure there are some Jews who also will be unable to submit to the changes God will demand as the Jewish Kingdom is established. They, as well as the Palestinians will find no place in the coming Kingdom. I'm also sure there will be some Arabs who will be willing to conform to the changes demanded with the coming Kingdom. The heart is where God will determine who can enter, and who will be judged. The humble will seek a changed heart, but the proud will resist unto death.

Sukkot represents the need for a circumcised heart. An entire generation of Jews had to perish in the wilderness because of their rebellious attitude toward God. They also were beyond repentance. They refused to circumcise their sons for 40 years. It was only with a whole  new generation that Joshua was eligible to occupy and conquer the Holy Land, and start the first stage of the Jewish Kingdom. The circumcision (a once in a lifetime event) on the plains of the Jordan signified outwardly what had happened inwardly with that next generation of Jews.

It will not be long before God challenges this generation of Jews to submit to a circumcised heart. It will mean accepting the Lord Jesus Christ of the New Testament as their personal Savior, and forever Messiah. It will not be easy for a stiff-necked people to conform to this demand of the coming Kingdom, but it will happen. The true Christian Church will have been raptured leaving behind nothing but apostasy. Dispensational change will have been instituted. "Born again" and "circumcised heart" will become synonymous terms as the Old and New Testaments merge into one single theology. This is what the Bible says is going to happen in the Holy Land! There is no need for a Newer Testament to be written for conduct in the coming Jewish Kingdom. The Bible is perfectly complete as it already exists! Calvary will be the remembrance of all sacrifice on the altar of the soon coming Last Jewish Temple! This will be the last stage of the Jewish Kingdom!

Josh 5:1-10
5:1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.
2 At that time the LORD said unto Joshua, Make thee sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time.
3 And Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.
4 And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt.
5 Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised.
6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
7 And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them by the way.
8 And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.
9 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.
10 And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

Sukkot Draws To A Close Amidst More Celebration
16:25 Oct 17, '03 / 21 Tishrei 5764

The week-long holiday of Sukkot ends tonight and tomorrow with the day known, in Israel, as Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah.

The day is marked by "Hakafot" - joyous dancing and singing with Torah scrolls as an expression of the Jewish people's happiness at having received the Torah and the opportunity to study it and be governed by its lessons.

"Hakafot Shniyot" (Second Hakafot) celebrations throughout the country tomorrow night will mark the conclusion of the holiday. This is a relatively modern tradition, indicating Israel's solidarity with the Jews of the Diaspora - who observe their Hakafot on Saturday night and Sunday, a day later than in Israel. Music bands and public figures take part in the Hakafot Shniyot celebrations, which are of a more public and communal nature than the "regular" Hakafot.

In other Sukkot news, police estimate that well over 400,000 people will have frequented the Western Wall by the end of the holiday - a record amount. Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, Western Wall Rabbi, expressed his satisfaction: "These are people who feel a deep connection with Jewish culture and tradition in general, and with the Jewish People's holiest place in particular - a remnant of the days in which the glory of the Jews who ascended to Jerusalem on the holidays flooded the holy city." Among the visitors was Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the venerated Torah sage who recently recovered from a serious illness and who arrived at the Wall daily to recite the blessing over the Four Species.

God has put a special love for His word in the hearts of the Jews. This will be their salvation when God brings them back to upholding the literal Bible. The Bible that guides them says there can be no real Judaism without a Temple, and Temple sacrifice at the altar. Blood must be shed again before the blindness can be removed! The only acceptable blood sacrifice that can wash away sin is the one node at Calvary. Not until the Jews forsake their traditions, and turn to Christ can the Bible be understood. Only when the Jews turn to Christ can the Old Testament and New Testaments merge into one Only then will the Bible be complete in all it's literal magnificence.  Calvary must be remembered in the coming dispensation as it was symbolized as coming  in the last dispensation.

Rom 2:26-29

26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Arutz-7 Radio Off-Air Until Further Notice
10:56 Oct 20, '03 / 24 Tishrei 5764

In light of today's court ruling convicting ten Arutz-7 directors and staff members of broadcasting without a license, Arutz-7 stopped its radio broadcasts at 5 PM this afternoon. It issued the following message to its "precious and loyal listening public:"

"To the precious and loyal listening public of Arutz-7, may G-d bless you from Zion.

"For some 15 years, Arutz-7 has broadcast Torah lessons and love of the People and the Land, with the participation of the leaders of Israel. The broadcasts accompanied and aided in the development of Torah in Israel and settlement of the Land.

"Following the decision of the Likud Government of yesterday to prevent advertising on non-licensed stations, and following today's court decision, the management of Arutz-7 has decided to stop all broadcasts on the radio, beginning at 5 PM this evening (10 AM Eastern Standard Time).

"The broadcasts will continue as usual on the internet (www.IsraelNN.com or www.a7.org) and by phone - 057-777-777 [from abroad: +97257-777-777].

"Peace upon all."

This afternoon's ruling by the Jerusalem Magistrates Court convicted ten Arutz-7 directors and staff members of broadcasting without a license. The trial, which began over four and a half years ago, resulted in a flat-out conviction of the ten for having broadcasted from within the territorial waters of Israel, using transmitters within Israel without proper licensing, and similar charges.

Arutz-7 Executive Director Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), convicted of issuing false affidavits regarding the distance of the ship from shore, said when the trial started that the State Prosecution operated under a double standard: "It never indicted Abie Nathan for broadcasting from the sea - but a week after he sank his ship, all the troubles for Arutz-7 started."

Today's ruling by Justice Yoram Noam stated that the defendants had violated broadcast and telegraph laws. Yoel Tzur, one of the convicts, speaking from the courtroom shortly after the verdict was announced, said that the first stage is to study the ruling, and that "we will make every effort to continue Arutz-7's broadcasts."

The sentences - a maximum of three-year jail terms and three-million shekel fines - will be handed down next month. The Arutz-7 personnel who face these punishments are:

* Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed, Rabbi of Beit El since its inception in 1977, Dean of Yeshivat Beit El and Beit El Yeshiva Center Institutions, leading member of the Yesha Council of Rabbis, and co-founder of Arutz-7;
* His wife Shulamit Melamed, long-time educational counselor at Tzviya Girls High School, co-founder of Arutz-7, and programming director and station manager;
* Yaakov Katz, known as Ketzaleh, indefatigable Executive-Director of Arutz-7 and Beit El Yeshiva Center Institutions, wounded as an IDF officer during the Yom Kippur War and bound to a wheelchair for months afterwards, founding member of the community of Beit El;
* Yoel Tzur, Director of Arutz-7, IDF battalion commander in reserves, founding member of the community of Beit El, lost his wife and son in terrorist attack in 1996;
* Haggai Segal, Arutz-7 News Director, activist on behalf of the Jewish population in Yesha and author of several books on the history of modern settlement in Yesha;
* Adir Zik, veteran fiery nationalist broadcaster;
* Gidi Sharon, veteran music broadcaster, considered one of those responsible for the revival of Sephardic (Jewish-Mideastern) music in Israel;
* David Shapira, broadcaster and director of Arutz-7's French department;
* Ya'ir Meir, engineer; and
* Sha'ul Avni, captain of Arutz-7's Eretz HaTzvi ship.

The folks from Arutz - 7 are the conservatives in Israel. I often use them as my source for news items. What is happening is 100% political. The left wing liberals have long dogged Arutz - 7 because of their conservatism. They forced them out of broadcasting from the land, and into the Mediterranean sea as a pirate broadcaster. Now, the tenacity of Arutz - 7 is being challenged again. This would be very similar to our liberal court system sending all conservative talk show hosts to jail. It is a slap in the face to all concepts of fair play. The liberals run the court system in Israel, and now they have run amuck!

I am waiting for the rapture. I know once the true Church steps aside God will move in the hearts of many Jews. It will start with the 2 Witnesses of Revelation 11, and the 144,000 other Jews also mentioned. They will be the foundation for a movement back to the literal Bible. They will be given the mandate to build Ezekiel's Temple. Judaism must abandon the corrupted traditions that make up the leaven of the Pharisees! The 613 laws of the Torah must go! Jews must come to understand it is impossible to keep God's holy standards. They must once again seek the Messiah as the only hope for redemption. These things are all part of the coming dispensational change.

My thoughts are that it will be the Jews who love God's word who will be first to respond. It will be conservative Jews like those who support Arutz - 7 that I would imagine have the hearts God will seek first. It is these Jews who resisted giving away the Temple Mount for a handshake from Arafat, and drew the fury of the liberals. These Jews supported the settlers again bring the wrath of the mostly liberal government upon them. I'm sure it will be these Jews who will experience a circumcised heart producing humility and meekness. The beatitudes of Christ best describe the miracle of what they are about to be changed into! They will succeed where today's Christianity has failed!

Matt 5:3-12

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I must apologize for not keeping up with my daily comments on In The News. I went blind in my left eye last month, and just had a hemorrhage in my right eye. I'm now legally blind though I have some limited vision around the periphery of my right eye. I'm finding new ways to get around this latest handicap, and hope to be regular with my comments soon. Please bare with me as I work through this latest challenge.

The Lord is good, and I'm getting great support from the VA. Christian fellowship has kept me from going into depression, and my handicapped friends demonstrate productive lives are possible when the worst happens. I often think of Job, and how he lost one thing after another. He always maintained his integrity. He refused to follow the advise of his wife who said "curse God and die." God never promised Job, or me a feather bed! I have a new area from which to testify that I love Christ for saving my soul, and not because He blesses me with worldly things. I'm learning to love Him more in my blindness then I did when I was sighted.

Frail Pope Beatifies Mother Teresa

( ANS) -- Showing the frailty that marked her last days, Pope John Paul II beautified late nun Mother Teresa in Vatican City Sunday, October 19, for of up to 300,000 people, one of its largest crowds ever.

Yet for the first time in a major Vatican ceremony, the pontiff was unable to utter a word of his homily, leaving other prelates to do so. In the few prayers he did say, his words were so slurred and shaky they could barely be understood, reporters noticed.

Several church officials have in recent weeks said that the pontiff was "approaching death" and that the actual moment of his passing may only be weeks or months away.

Vatican observers say his physical ailment was the main reason why Pope John Paul II wanted to speed up the usual lengthy beatification ceremony, to ensure he would be able to bless the nun, while still being alive.

Rev. Brian Kolodiejchuk, chief advocate for the beatification, said the pontiff's desire to make her a new model for Catholics was a way "to present Mother Teresa as one very prominent example of someone who in many respects lived some of the things he's been teaching in his pontificate," The Associated Press reported. ...

The event was closely watched in the Balkans where, in the region's tradition, a fresh dispute has emerged over her ethnic origin. That mother Teresa was a good person who spent her life helping those in need is about all Macedonia and neighboring Albania can agree on.

Ahead of Sunday's beatification, scholars and politicians in both countries made claims she was either Albanian or Macedonian, and that there was even a case to be made that she might have been Kosovar.

Nobody disputes that she was born in Skopje as Agnesa Gonxha Bojaxhiu in 1910. The problem: Skopje was in the Ottoman Empire when present day Macedonia and Albania did not even exist.

She was born to parents who had moved to Skopje from Kosovo. Her mother was an ethnic Albanian, but her father was of unknown background, giving rise to a debate which the future Catholic saint never bothered to resolve in her earthly lifetime.

It has led to friction between Macedonia and Albania and also has created fresh tensions between ethnic Albanians and Macedonians in Skopje itself.

Sulyman Rushiti of the Albanian Democratic Party representing Macedonia's ethnic Albanians, recently said the "whole world knows mother Teresa as Albanian, just as they know that the pope is Polish."

Albanians are furious about a statue of Mother Teresa that the Macedonian government plans to give to Rome to celebrate her beatification. The statue carries a plaque describing her as a "daughter of Macedonia."

Risto Penov, the mayor of Skopje where she lived till she was 18, sees nothing wrong in the statue, saying that "Mother Teresa herself never made a difference between ethnicity of nations."

Macedonians are irked that Albania, which the nun reportedly only visited once during her lifetime, is claiming her as its own. The small Balkan nation has declared 2004 "Mother Teresa Year" and has created a national holiday in her honor.

Those who knew her believe the nun would have proposed a compromise to the quarrelling nations. "Just call me a Catholic, and faithful servant of God." ...

Tradition, tradition, tradition is the death null to the literal Bible. It turns the heart to stone! Tradition adds man's thoughts to the Holy Writ as if it were all true. The Roman Catholic tradition of making mere men and woman god like saints has caused millions to turn from the Bible to tradition for their salvation. Catholics can now pray to Mother Teresa as if she were a god. It is not Biblical, but it is now authorized by this Pope and his Church. The lukewarm Evangelical Church of today remains silent to this abomination because of the popularity of this Catholic nun.

Real Biblical miracles are trivialized by today's phony Charismatic healers. The supposed miracles attributed to Mother Teresa are very spurious. One was a common tumor that was treated with effective medications. It is like claiming a miracle cure for a headache after taking an aspirin. The Roman Catholic Church is desperate for some good press after the pedophile disaster recently exposed. This Pope has done nothing to cleanse the priesthood of the homosexuality that has run rampant throughout his Church just as he will now do nothing to settle the controversy over the heritage of Mother Teresa.

The Jews in Israel have the same problem with tradition. They have left the literal Bible, and put their trust in the thoughts of men. The Mishna and Talmud have taken priority over the plain teaching of God's Word. Tradition has blinded the Jews to the truth, and to salvation just as the Catholic Church blinds millions from seeing the Biblical Christ. Dispensational change is about to expose the apostasy of Christianity as Jews turn back to a literal Bible.

There is no mercy from the God of the Bible to those who refuse to change. All who cling to the abominations of tradition will find only judgment. They will be without excuse!

Ezek 11:17-21

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Report: El Baradei says Israel open to nuke disarming

By Reuters

VIENNA - The head of the United Nations nuclear watchdog said that Israel, which has never publicly admitted to having atomic weapons, would be willing to get rid of any nuclear arms it may have if there was peace in the Middle East.

Despite Israel's refusal to deny or confirm the possession of a nuclear arsenal, non-proliferation analysts estimate that the country has anywhere from 100 to 200 atomic weapons.

Like India and Pakistan, which also have nuclear weapons,
Israel has not signed the 1968 nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the global pact aimed at stopping the spread of nuclear weapons. The other five atomic weapons states - the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France - have signed it.

"(It is) good news, at least, that Israel agreed that in the long term they need to get rid of their nuclear weapons capability or the nuclear weapons that they have," International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei said in an interview with Austria's Die Presse newspaper.

It was not immediately clear when and how Israel had communicated this to the IAEA, which has never inspected Israel's alleged atomic weapons program and only carries out limited inspections of a single research reactor in Israel.

"However they (Israel) are saying they cannot do that except in the context of a comprehensive peace, when their right to exist is fully recognized by all the countries of the region," he said in the English transcript of the interview, obtained by Reuters.

ElBaradei said that Arab countries complain, on the other hand, that while they open up their nuclear programs to the IAEA to ensure they are not secretly developing atomic weapons, it is widely believed that Israel already has a nuclear arsenal.

"My feeling is that the only way where we can make progress (in convincing Israel to disarm) is when the peace process starts to move," ElBaradei said.

But he said that any peace process would ultimately have to include an all-encompassing security arrangement, part of which should be universal weapons control across the Middle East.

"I think that you cannot really have peace without a parallel security structure in the Middle East," ElBaradei said. "But once you have peace ... you really need the full security structure for the Middle East, not only nuclear weapons, but (all) weapons of mass destruction and conventional weapons."

It is very difficult for many to imagine how Israel will soon disarm? The prophet Ezekiel says the Last Jihad invasion of Israel will take place because Israel will be unwilled! They will be at rest! They will be dwelling in safety! The motive of the Islamic hordes will be to recognize this weakness as an opportunity to pillage and spoil. Islam will invade with animalistic vengeance only to be confronted with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Ezekiel 39 says the invasion turns into a disaster as God supernaturally intercedes. It will not be Jewish weapons of mass destruction, but the hand of God! The whole world will see God supernaturally standing with the Jews as He did in days of old. Dispensational change will be demonstrated both to the Jews, and to the heathen gentiles. The true Church will have been raptured, and the Jews of Israel will be turning back to the literal Bible.

The most obvious priority demanded in the literal Bible of the Jews will be the Temple. Ezekiel 39 means Islamic influence over the Middle East will be non-existent. The path to building Ezekiel's Temple will be open to the Jews of Israel for the first time since the destruction o
