US Speaker and Muslim Congressman in Jerusalem En Route to Syria

IsraelNN.com) U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi toured Jerusalem Saturday together with America’s first Muslim congressman, Rep. Keith Ellison (D).

The Democratic Speaker arrived Friday on a fact-finding mission.

Pelosi and Ellison, together with staffers, toured the Church of the Sepulcher in Jerusalem’s Old City, followed by a stop at the Western Wall prayer plaza at the foot of the Temple Mount.

For security reasons, the tour was not announced ahead of time, though Ellison says he plans on visiting the mosque atop the Temple Mount. "I haven't seen it yet, but I hope to, I'm really looking forward to it," Ellison told CBS News.

Pelosi is set to address the Knesset on Sunday and will also be meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah chief Mahmoud Abbas in the coming days.

Pelosi’s delegation, which includes U.S. Representatives Henry Waxman and Tom Lantos (D-California), Louise Slaughter (D-New York), Nick Rahall (West Virginia), and David Hobson (R–Ohio), will also be visiting Syria, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.

There has been some controversy over the visit to Syria back in the U.S. "This is a country that is a state sponsor of terror, one that is trying to disrupt the Saniora government in Lebanon and one that is allowing foreign fighters to flow into Iraq from its borders," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said of the trip. "[Pelosi] should take a step back and think about the message that it sends."

What a wonderful kick-off by the Democrats for Passover 2007. They bring the only Islamic congressman to the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount to thumb their nose in the face as to how much they despise the God of the Bible. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of King David, and David's and God's seed the incarnate LORD Jesus Christ. What a wonderful message Pelosi is sending to the world that she sides with peaceful dialog while Islamic barbarians are declaring all out war on the Bible in the Holy Land, at Jerusalem, and on the Temple Mount. Pelosi would have preferred even more Islamic Congressmen elected to Congress to have come with her to demonstrate her open minded peaceful intent in the face of outright barbarianism on the part of Islam as it demands the Holy Land from the Jews, and their Christian supporters. I wonder if Congressman Keith Ellison will recognize the right of the Jews to the Holy Land? I wonder if he will acknowledge the right of the Jews to maintain their sovereignty over the Temple Mount as he visits the Al Aqsa and Dome of the Rock mosques on the Temple Mount later in this Democratic tour? No reporter dare ask him his opinion as a good Moslem on these questions without facing the eternal wrath of Pelosi the powerful speaker of the House.

The Jews embark on their celebration of the Passover today. It will probably be the same day the Democrats invade the Temple Mount with their lone Islamic Congressman to support the false claims of the Koran over the Bible. This is quickly becoming the voice of the Democratic Party. To support the rights of Islam, and the Koran over the Bible, Judaism, and the Christian supporters of the Jews and the Bible. This is the day the Jews sprinkled the blood of the first Passover lambs on the lentil, and doorposts of their homes. The blood signaled the angel of death to Passover those homes where the blood had been applied. This was the last of the 10 plagues of Egypt that broke the back of Pharaoh causing him to let the Jews go to their Promised Land. The Holy Land where King David established Mount Zion as his capital. Zion is the main peak upon the mountain of where the city of Jerusalem resides. The place where Abraham was to sacrifice his only begotten son Isaac, but God stayed his hand at the last moment providing a ram as a replacement. The blood of the Lamb sufficed in God's eyes as the needed sacrifice for their sin that day on that place. The value of that blood only existed in the knowledge God has that He would not stay the hand of death when His own Son was presented for sacrifice. King Solomon built the First Holy Jewish Temple on that one single place as his father David requested. Blood sacrifice was only acceptable to the God of the Bible from that one single place from that day forward. Again, the value of all those daily sacrifices was only as they pointed to the single perfect sacrifice of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, yet to come at Calvary. Today, we await the God of the Bible to provide the circumstances, men, and the vision to build the last Holy Jewish Temple that will stand on this place. Ezekiel 40 - 48 reveals this Temple, the only Holy Jewish Temple that contains a throne, yet to be built on the Temple Mount. It will as all the former Jewish Temples have an altar for sacrifice. The blood of lambs will again flow as the God of the Bible looks back to Calvary in remembrance during the Great Tribulation, and on into the millennial Kingdom! It is this Temple, and this Kingdom that Pelosi and her Democratic colleges with their single Islamic representative stand before the world to oppose! They would rather see the Koran not the Bible representing the Promised Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount! Ask them you lily livered reporters. Seek out the truth of where this generation of Democrats are heading in regards to the future of the Holy Land?

Friend, it is all about the blood! Not any blood, but perfect blood from the one single perfect sacrifice for sin. He is coming again! Are you prepared? Are you saved? You are without excuse. Christ has done it all at Calvary. It is finished! Have you come to this Christ of the Bible for the forgiveness of your sin, or do you reject Him? Islam is clear that as a religion, as a culture, and as a gentile nation they reject Jesus Christ as their Savior. The God of the Bible is just as clear that He rejects them because of their rejection of the blood of Christ. What about you. Those who never come reject the blood of Christ as much as any Moslem. Is the judgment of God such a trivial matter in your eyes that you would join the Pelosi crowds in thumbing your nose to Him? Beware, for only a remnant of any generation come to the God of the Bible. The masses are on their way to hell. Where, dear friend, are you headed? Come to Christ and live! Friend, have you been cleansed? Have you been purged in the blood of Christ? Has His blood offering for your sin been applied to your heart? Only this perfect King could ever rule the perfect coming Kingdom Age. Will you be there?

(IsraelNN.com) A new Hamas video encourages the participation of children in terrorism and has been broadcast on Hamas TV.

The video focuses on Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin and portrays young children as continuing the slain Islamist sheikh’s legacy. Kids are portrayed wearing uniforms, holding rifles and participating in military training.

The lyrics of the video, translated by Palestinian Media Watch, stress the children's connection to Yassin:

This is the second Hamas TV video in less than a week promoting terrorist activities to children. The first was the video dramatization of the four-year old daughter of female suicide bomber Reem Riyashi, singing to her dead mother and vowing to follow in her footsteps.

Gaza rocket fire continues to plague Israeli cities
According to Israeli media reports, several violent clashes took place between Palestinian guerillas and IDF forces in the West Bank on Wednesday night, with firefights erupting in the cities of Jenin and Nablus and arrest being made throughout the Judea and Samaria region. Meanwhile, Ynet News reports that Palestinian terrorists in Gaza continued to fire Kassam rockets into Israel this week, but caused little damage. Nearly 200 of the deadly rockets have been fired into Israel since November 2006.
 

Kadima May Block Peretz Expulsion of Jews from Peace House

(IsraelNN.com) Kadima Knesset Member Otniel Schneller says most Kadima lawmakers intend to block Defense Minister Amir Peretz’s order to expel Jews from the Hevron Peace House.

Schneller said Friday morning in an interview on Voice of Israel government radio that most Kadima legislators, including Prime Minister Ehud Olmert "will have a different opinion" than Peretz on the matter.

"Everything was done according to the law,” said Schneller, and if Prime Minister Olmert is convinced that the building was legally purchased, the government will not support the Defense Minister.”

Peretz will probably have to coordinate plans for the expulsion with the Prime Minister in order to implement his order.


The Kadima platform, which is the basis for the coalition that includes the Labor party, calls for the development of the Jewish community of Hevron.

Peretz ordered the expulsion on Thursday using the left-wing groups’ strategy of claiming the residents did not receive authorization to live there, even if it was legally purchased.

Left-wing groups had appealed to the Defense Minister to enforce his seldom-used power to prohibit Jews from living in buildings in Judea and Samaria without the Ministry's permission.

The building was sold to the Jews by a Jordanian businessman two years ago for $700,000. The former owner has since been arrested and charged with selling property to a Jew, a capital offense under both Jordanian and Palestinian Authority law.

Scheller accused Peretz hours after the decision that he had ordered the expulsion in order to gain support in the Labor party prior to the leadership primaries set for late May. Peretz is hoping to retain his post as Chairman but is trailing in the polls.

Kadima Knesset faction leader Avigdor Itzhaki also expressed his support for the Jewish residents of Peace House in a visit Thursday afternoon with the leader of the opposition Likud Knesset faction Gidon Saar.

Both men explained that they visited the house in order to show support for the beleaguered Hevron Jewish community, which they commented “is forced to cope with many difficulties.”

Saar accused the Defense Minister of ignoring the strategic importance of the structure. Peace House is built on a rise which overlooks the road from Kiryat Arba where PA terrorists gunned down 12 IDF soldiers and local security volunteers four years ago. He also warned Peretz that he would fail in his bid to use the expulsion as a way of gaining popularity with the Labor party rank-and-file.

National Union Knesset Member Uri Ariel also warned Peretz Thursday night that he and other Knesset Members will stand with the Hevron Jews if he carries out the order.

Rabbis from the Save the Land of Israel Committee called on the Defense Minister to reconsider his decision, which they called an affront to Jewish heritage.

The Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria has also said it would fight the order.

IDF officials said they have not received an official schedule for the expulsion. The order now rests with legal advisers and might take weeks to implement, according to a source in the Defense Ministry.

Thousands of policemen deploy in J'lem for 'Holy Fire' ceremony

Weekend Terrorism

An Arab-fired Kassam rocket slammed into a factory in the industrial section of Sderot Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported in the attack, but the factory’s warehouse was damaged in the rocket strike.

On Friday, the IDF fired two missiles at a terrorist cell in northern Gaza, killing one terrorist and wounding two others. The terror group had been planting explosives along the route of the border fence between Gaza and Israel. The helicopter strike was the first since Israel declared a ceasefire with the Palestinian Authority in November. While Israel has refrained from operating in Gaza during the period, terrorists from the region have pounded Israeli towns with Kassam rockets.

Ultra-Orthodox youths clash with police in J'lem hametz protest

Some 100 Ultra-Orthodox Jewish youths clashed with police in Jerusalem on Sunday morning, protesting the sale of hametz (leavened bread) during the week of Passover in Jerusalem restaurants.

The conflict began after a rally that took place near Shabbat Square in the Mea Shearim neighborhood. At the end of the rally, the protestors sought to march towards Hillel Street, an area which contains a number of restaurants that sell hametz and non-kosher meat. Police refused to allow the march and instructed the protestors to disperse.

Some youngsters succeeded in blocking the street with trash cans and piles of wood. The police then tried to disperse the crowd by force, which led a few iltra-Orthdox Jews to throw rocks at the police.
 

Heads of the ultra-Orthodox community used a public address system in Mea Shearim to instruct the residents to go and join the protest and try and reach the restaurants. In the end, some 20 protestors managed to reach Hillel Street and demonstrate there. The fact that the first branches of the Aroma and Hillel cafe chains are situated on Hillel Street gave the protest a symbolic significance for the Orthodox Jews.

Another group of ultra-Orthodox Jews tried to reach the Nahalat Shiva promenade in central Jerusalem, but they were effectively blocked on Rabbi Kook Street by police forces.

Jewish Law,. Islamic Law, and Biblical Law are all different. Jewish Law is concerned with the trivial. They are more concerned about straining the gnat from their wine then they are in understanding righteousness of the heart. Christ warned the Jews of the leaven of the Scribes and Pharoses, but the Jews rather chose their legalistic sages over their loving Messiah.

It was Christ who confronted the Jews with true Biblical Law, but they rejected both Himself and the Bible. They would rather stain at the gnat then accept the perfection of the Law that Christ represented. Jesus took Biblical Law to new heights never conceived by sinful men. Jesus revealed the holiness behind the Law when he told men it was not just the act of sin, but the very thought of sin that condemned! Woe to the whited sepulchers of today's Judaism who following the lead of the Sadducees, and Pharisees keep straining at the gnat. They just can't grasp that it is impossible for sin filled men to meet the perfect standards of a Holy God.

Only Christ met the perfect standard because he alone was the perfect man. Born miraculously of a virgin He was perfect from beginning to end of His earthly ministry. His standards turned the religious Jews of His day into hypocrites. His righteousness was above human ability. There was no way that the majority of Jews of that generation were going to make Him King. Never would they submit to such a high standard of perfection. The sages gave them a lower standard to which they flocked. A less holy god who would be satisfied with ritualistic holiness rather then the real thing. A god satisfied with the ritualistic straining of the gnat as meeting his requirements. This is the leaven, or the doctrine of the Sadducees and Pharisees that has corrupted Biblical Law into Jewish Law. 

Friend, this present generation is no better prepared for the Kingdom of Christ then was the generation of His first coming. The perfection of holiness that He sets as His standard is as hated today as it ever was. Men want the freedom to sin. They hate anyone placing puritanical standards on their freedom. The LORD Jesus Christ came the first time to pay the penalty for sin. He is coming again in the same sinless perfection as at the first, but this time He is coming to rule! The sin for which He died will be outlawed. The standard will be even to the thoughts of men. Puritanical justice will control the entire planet. The perfect King who knows even the thoughts of men will rule with a rod of iron! Only those with changed hearts will love to submit to this kind of perfect holiness. The masses will reject Him as they did at His first coming, but this time He is coming in judgment. Friend, if you can't stand according to His perfect  righteousness, you will be judged. You need to be redeemed! It is the blood of Christ's perfect sacrifice at Calvary that provides redemption. Won't you come to Him today for that redemption? Is is a free gift of grace offered to all lost sinners who come. Christ has the power to change your heart. The resurection is the proof. The decision to come is yours. Won't you come?

 

IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority officials are calling for the terrorists responsible for the standoff at Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity five years ago to be allowed to return to Israel.

The 40-day standoff ended with the terrorists agreeing to go into exile to avoid arrest by Israel.

PA Legislative Council official Issa Karaka has issued a call for Israel not only to allow the 39 exiled terrorists to return, but to hand over the bodies of the terrorists killed in the clashes, according to the PNN PA news agency.

Thirteen of the terrorists were deported to European countries that accepted them and 26 were sent to Gaza.

These are the thugs who used the Church of Nativity as a refuge after going on a killing spree in Bethlehem. The Pope was quick to grant them sanctuary siding with the Arab Palestinians over the Jews. Islam was driving the Christians out of Bethlehem at the time, but the Pope wanted the world to see that Roman Catholics would rather have the Islamic barbarians in control of Bethlehem then the Jews. Arafat at the time had claimed the front lawn of the Church of Nativity for Islam, and was planning to build a mosque there that would block view of this ancient Church even blocking the main entrance for Christians. The Pope was undeterred. Catholic doctrine id built upon replacement theology. The Catholic Church claimed all future blessings the Bible said would be for the Jewish people. The Catholic Church would replace the Jews  in the Bible for all eternity future. The rank and file flocked to this new radical theology because it meant they would control the coming Kingdom. They would receive all the future blessings for the sole reason that they were Catholic. The rest of the Christian denominations followed suit except that the Lutherans claimed they would receive the Jewish blessings. The Greek Orthodox did the same, and so on until all of Christendom were making claims to the coming Kingdom with each sect telling their gullible followers that they were the blessed over all the others. What no one wanted to hear was that the literal Jews to whom the Bible promised the Kingdom were now back in the Land where the promised Kingdom was going to be ushered into existence. Replacement theology was dealt a death blow. Everyone thought the tiny Jewish nation of Israel would be wiped off the map by the Islamic barbarians, but they not only survived. They even prospered! It was almost impossible to deny the hand of God on the Jews.  The Pope and the rest of the Replacement Theologians were not going to admit they fed the world false doctrine. Their best hope right now is that the Palestinian Arab barbarians will drive the Jews out of the Holy Land. They can put up with any other group other then the Jews controlling in the Holy Land. It keeps their theology viable. Some far future day their Christian sect will take control, and then the Kingdom will come. However, the literal Jews as the Bible literally predicts as the recipients of the coming Kingdom makes them out for the lairs that they are.

The Palestinian barbarians paid the Pope back for his granting sanctuary by first desecrating all the holy objects in the Church, and then trying to burn it down before they pulled out. The barbarians granted amnesty, and exile in Europe mostly ended up in jail for crimes they committed while living in their host countries.  Now, the Palestinian Authority is demanding the Jews take them back to Bethlehem so they can continue terrorizing the Jews, and Christians directly. I'm sure the Pope, and many of the Christian denominations will add their support pressuring the Jews to give them all pardons. Anyone, but the Jews is the call coming out of the ransacking of the Church of the Nativity. They will all deny that their Replacement Theology is anti-Semitic, and anti-Bible, but they will never give it up until Christ comes again as the Jewish Messiah. He will expose the Christian equivalent to the Sadducees and Pharisees as the hypocrites that they are, and establish His coming Kingdom on perfect righteousness denouncing all religion. Only Christ, and the Bible will stand when the Kingdom comes. Only those who have submitted to the perfect righteous rule of Christ will survive. Jesus has already told His Jewish audience with only a smattering of gentiles who will inherit His Kingdom. Will you be there?

 

Vatican threatens to boycott Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony in J'lem

Thousands of Jews Visit Tombs of Joshua, Calev

(IsraelNN.com) Some 5,000 Jews availed themselves last night (Thursday) of the IDF's offer to safeguard the area of the Arab village of Kifel Heres so that they could visit the holy sites. The area lies immediately to the north of the city of Ariel.

Twice a year, the security forces enable Jews to visit the holy gravesites of Joshua bin Nun and Calev ben Yefuneh, who led the Israelites in their conquest of the Holy Land, and that of Joshua's father Nun. Some 5,000 visitors arrived throughout last night, experiencing the unusual sensation of walking freely through an Arab village without fear of attack. The three graves are interspersed among the village's houses; two of them are housed by dome-like structures, while Nun's grave is marked only with a large concrete mound.

Most worshipers arrived first at the grave of Calev, who led the Tribe of Judah in conquering Hevron. They then walked a few hundreds meters to the north to the burial place of Joshua, and then to the west where lies his father. Joshua and Calev were the only ones of the 12 Spies dispatched by Moses who returned with an encouraging report of the Land of Israel.

Pamphlets with special prayers were handed out to the thousands of visitors.   The prayers included mentions of the special merit of the three holy men in that they experienced the Exodus from Egypt, the receiving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai, and the conquest of the Promised Land.

The event was organized by the Shomron Local Religious Council.  "People came from far and near," said one organizer, "representing the hareidi, hassidic, religious-Zionist and traditional sectors. It was moving to see them all come together to proclaim the call of Joshua and Calev, 'Let us ascend to the Land and inherit it, for we will be able to succeed.'"

Pupils of local elementary schools were on hand to celebrate their completion of the Book of Joshua. The "Aleinu" prayer, traditionally attributed to Joshua, was recited repeatedly.

"We see that the public votes with its feet on behalf of Judaism's holy site," an organizer said, "without consideration of separation fences, inclement weather [it began drizzling around 1:30 AM], or the late hour."

Dov Shapira, head of the local religious council, gave a deluxe edition of the Bible, accompanied by Joshua's blessing "Be strong and of great courage," to the head of the IDF Nachshon Regiment, in recognition of the army's cooperation in the complex operation.

The organizers now wish to visit Joseph's Tomb in Shechem, where the stakes are higher: Joseph is the son of the Patriarch Jacob, and prayers at his burial site carry special merit - while on the other hand, Shechem is more dangerous for Jews than the little village Kifel Hares.

Be strong and of great courage should cause the majority of secular liberal Jews to hang their heads in shame. Where Joshua and Caleb were instrumental in the conquering of Jericho this generation of political Jews gave Jericho to the Palestinian barbarians as part of the Gaza retreat. The Gaza and Jericho have become occupied territory only because this generation of Jews have no courage. They have the strength, but they lack the fortitude to follow the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The great miracle of 1967 that gave Jericho, all of Judah and Samaria, the entire city of Jerusalem, and absolute sovereignty over the Temple Mount is now being rejected by the political Jews of this generation. They are treating the blessings of the Six Day War as a curse! They can't move fast enough to retreat, and give everything to the Islamic barbarians.

These secular Jews of this generation are about to drag the whole world into Great Tribulation. It is not that this world is ripe for judgment, but that God has every intent to bring the promised redemption of the Jews to this generation no matter what! It will only be when the Jews are redeemed that they will be able to obey the law which God gave to Moses. Only redeemed Jews will be able to offer blood sacrifices in remembrance of Calvary that will be acceptable to the Holy God of the Bible as He demands in the coming dispensation. Only redeemed Jews will be able to build the next kosher Holy Jewish Temple, and worship acceptably in this coming structure. The Jewish majority must come to know Christ as their personal Savior. They must be "born again."  They must have a circumcised heart before God will accept them as His people. All this is linked to the Promised Land for it is to the Holy Land, the city of Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount where Christ is prophesied to return! He is coming as the rightful King of the Jews. He is coming in great power and glory. He is coming to claim His inheritance of the entire planet won at Calvary.

God has determined that Jesus Christ will be coming to a redeemed people. He will not be rejected a second time. He will come to a people steadfast, and refined through the fires of Great Tribulation. They will not be like the lily livered secular majority we see today cowering in the face of the Islamic barbarians. The cowards, and faint hearted will have long been removed. These will be Jews of the character of Joshua and Caleb. Honorable men ready to face the entire gentile world as they stand with their coming Messiah. Tiny little Israel will challenge all the gentile nations with all their overwhelming power, and demand of them that they bow down to their Jewish King.

It all will start with a tiny remnant of Two Jewish Witnesses, and 144,000 Jews called out of the tribal lands originally conquered by Joshua and Caleb. This small remnant will re-establish Biblical Judaism in the Holy Land. They will reject the Jewish hypocrites of today, and begin leading the nation to Christ. It will not be the gentile Christ of the Church, but a truly Biblical Christ coming again to be the redeemer of the Jews first. The promised Messiah for which more honorable Jews have prayed through the millennium.

Caleb was not a natural born Jew. He was the son of a Canaanite barbarian, and probably why his father is not buried in the Holy Land as is Nun the natural born Jewish father of Joshua. God has made provision for the gentile stranger not only to fit into an all Jewish economy, but to rise to positions of great honor. Friend, no matter what economy in which dispensation may be operating, it is only Christ who saves. Either when looked forward to His first coming, or looking back to Calvary, it is only Christ that can redeem lost sinners. Blood sacrifice for sin has always been the only solution from the Holy God of the Bible. Only the blood of Christ provides the single atonement for sin that is acceptable to God. The coming Holy Jewish Temple will have an altar and blood sacrifices will be demanded as a critical part of worship in the next dispensation. To obey God is to sacrifice in the coming Kingdom Age. There will be only one acceptable place for that sacrifice, and that will be at the altar of the next Holy Jewish Temple to be built on the Temple Mount. Only Jews, or acceptable gentile strangers such as Caleb converted to the Jewish God who sent His only begotten Son will be allowed entrance into the place of sacrifice. They will have to be redeemed. They will have to be born again. They will have to have a circumcised heart. What about you? Do you qualify, or will blood sacrifice be denied? The decision is yours, and yours alone. Won't you come to this Christ of the Bible? The law of Moses is soon to be obeyed! The book of Leviticus will require the Children of God to observe to do it not just talk about it as is done today. The blood of Christ will have to have been applied to the heart before the demanded remembrance blood can be shed at the altar. Friend, will you be allowed to enter?

(IsraelNN.com) Muslim fundamentalists, aligned with Al Qaeda, bombed a Christian bookstore and two Internet cafes in Gaza on Saturday following previous attacks on churches as part of its religious crusade to replace the secular Fatah faction.

The "Sword of Islam" terrorist group took responsibility for the bombings of Internet cafes and music stores, which they consider an offense to the Muslim religion because they represent Western society.

The same group has issued warnings to Gaza women not to hang out in Internet cafes. The Swords of Islam has bombed more than a dozen Internet cafes in several weeks and destroyed the vehicle of one young man who was playing his radio tape at high volume. It also ordered women to wear a full-face veil.

Muslim courts in the Palestinian Authority (PA) increasingly operate as the moral authority over local areas, and one town in Samaria barred a music and dance festival.

The Muslim crusade has spread across the ocean to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where the local Community and Technology College last week was accused of promoting religion because it acceded to Muslim demands for foot-washing basins, used by Muslims before prayers. The Minneapolis Star Tribune noted that the same college removed a coffee cart form the campus because it was playing music related to Christmas.

College president Phil Davis explained that the foot-washing basins were allowed because "it is like when someone comes to your home, you want to be hospitable." When asked about the lack of a room for Christian prayers, he replied that the cafeteria served fish to Christians for Lent.

The Muslim activist organization on United States campuses, the Muslim Student Association, tells its members, "As Muslims, we are a nation elected by God to lead humanity."

However, the Muslim crusade in Gaza works directly against Christians.

Palestinian Authority (PA) police two months ago seized the six-story Gaza Baptist Church as an observation deck in violent clashes against Hamas. Police broke windows and broke down a door after church officials refused to give them the key.

Several months ago, another Muslim group attacked seven Gaza churches, including a 1,400-year-old Greek Orthodox structure, after Pope Benedict stated that some of the teachings of the Muslim prophet Mohammed are "evil and inhuman."

"Every place relevant to Christians will be a target," said a statement from The Army of Guidance. In Kalkilya, adjacent to Kfar Saba, the local Young Men's Christian Association headquarters (YMCA) was gutted by arsonists.

Muslims have become the majority in formerly Christian cities of Nazareth and Bethlehem, where non-Muslims have suffered constant persecution and discrimination, causing a further exodus of Christians. Last year, Muslims went on a rampage against Christians in a Galilee town, setting cars and stores on fire.
 

Folks, our government and news media tell us Allah is the same god as the God of the Bible so we should be brothers. They tell us it is only a small insignificant smattering of radicals among the Moslems that are causing all the trouble. Folks, they are telling us lies! We are in the process of pulling out of Iraq giving Islam the greatest moral victory since the crusades. These puffed up Islamite's will be at the doors of not just Minneapolis, but every city in the US demanding submission to the Sword of Islam. People who are rich, and in need of nothing, such as the president of that local technical college, do not resist when the barbarian comes knocking at the door. They would rather pay the demanded tribute then get out of their feathered bed. How long will it be before the Sword of Islam comes knocking on your communities door?

The Bible offers us an alternative to the Sword of Islam. It is the Sword of the LORD! Puritanical righteousness without spot or blemish is the plan of God for the next dispensation. The Kingdom Age ruled over by the soon coming King of Glory. A 1000 year era of perfect law administrated by the only perfect King who shed His perfect blood as the only atonement for sin that is acceptable to the only true Holy Father. The LORD Jesus Christ paid the price at Calvary for the title deed of the world. Lost sinners have the door of salvation open. The Old Testament saints looked forward to the day when the Jewish Messiah would come. He came! He came to the Holy Land, the city of Jerusalem, and to the last standing Holy Jewish Temple. He is coming again in like manner. However, He is not coming in the same character as that of the suffering servant to die again. This time He is coming as the LORD of hosts mighty in battle. He is coming wielding the Sword of the LORD! The Bible says He will rule with a rod of iron! His perfect law will be obeyed! He will have the power to enforce His statues and ordinances on the entire planet. It is going to start in the Holy Land, at Jerusalem, and on the Temple Mount. The Sword of Islam will be crushed under the mighty power of Biblical righteousness. Only the Sword of the LORD will be victorious. The LORD Jesus Christ has no need of help. The Bible says He is going to crush the nations! Their great armies will be tossed into the winepress of His wrath. Only the poor, humble, and meek will survive to rule with Christ. A new beginning is planed with the new dispensation. A time when the most vulnerable, the little children, will be perfectly safe. Safe from the liberal minded mothers of this generation who flock to the abortion mills by the millions. Safe from those who would wield the Sword of Islam. Safe in the loving arms of Jesus.

Friend, you too can find this same refuge. You too can be safe in the arms of Jesus. He paid the price for your sin at Calvary, and now He awaits your coming to Him for forgiveness. He charges nothing. He has the power not only to save, but to change your heart. Only those who are born again desire the puritanical righteousness of the Bible. All others resist such perfect standards being imposed on them. This generation demands the right to sin. They want freedom not puritanical dominance. They push out of the arms of Christ for the world, the flesh, and the devil. It is your decision dear friend. Which sword do you want to rule over your future? One is the way of death and destruction. The other is the way to life eternal. Friend, come to Christ and find rest. The Bible says that rest shall be glorious!

Slain Israeli Professor Saved Others in Va. Tech Massacre

(IsraelNN.com) As Israel observed Holocaust Day, thousands of mlies away, A Rumanian-born Holocaust survivor gave his life in another senseless murder - and apparently in an act of heroism. Among the 32 people killed by a lone gunman at Virginia Tech Monday is 77 year old mechanics professor, Liviu Librescu, a citizen of Israel. According to eyewitness accounts, Livrescu ran to the door of his classroom and blocked it with his body – preventing the gunman from entering but getting shot to death himself as a result.

Alec Calhoun, a 20 year old student who had been in Librescu's class in room 204, told a reporter that at 9:05 a.m. the heard screams and a loud banging sound from the next door classroom. When the students realized it was gunfire, he said, some hid behind tables, and others leapt from the classroom's windows. Calhoun himself was among the last to jump. "Before I jumped from the window, I turned around and looked at the professor, who stayed behind, maybe to block the door. He had been killed."

Librescu is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marlena, who was with him in Virginia, and sons Aryeh and Joe who are in Israel. They intend to bury him in Israel.

Asael Arad, an Israeli student who visited the widow after the tragedy, told Army Radio Tuesday that Marlena had been receiving e-mails from students who credited Prof. Librescu with saving their lives. "I lost my best friend," the widow told a reporter for NRG at her home near the Blacksburg campus. "He was a great person, who loved teaching more than anything." Marlena said someone had initially informed her that her husband was injured in the shooting. "I looked for him in the hospitals all day but I didn't find him," she said.

The Librescus are Rumanian Jews who came on aliyah (immigrated to Israel) in 1978 – after then-Prime Minister Begin interceded on their behalf with the Rumanian government, according to Marlena. The couple went on a sabbatical to the United States since 1986 and has been living there ever since.

How sad to have survived the Nazi Holocaust only to die at the hands of some deranged student. The head of the Palestinian Authority Mr. Abbas wrote his doctorial theses denying the Holocaust, and calling this heroic Professor Librescu a liar in the process! Yet, world leaders kowtow to this modern day barbarian trying to negotiate with this liar who intends to rewrite history so that Jewish heroism is demeaned, and Islam is made to appear great through lying. Hitler tried to rewrite history. He tried to hide the Holocaust from the world. He convinced the German people that the Arians were the master race destine to rule the world. Abbas also is trying to rewrite history by denying the holocaust, and convincing the Moslems that they are the master religion destine to rule the world. The fall of the Nazis is nothing compared to the coming fall of Islam. The God of the Bible is about to cast Islam on the dung heap of all the other false religions in history. We are the generation that witnessed the revelation of the Holocaust. We witnessed God destroy the Jew hating Naziws. We witnessed the birth of the State of Israel, and we are about to witness the utter destruction of Islam howbeit from heaven after the rapture. Ezekiel 38 & 39 is a yet to be fulfilled prophecy about an Invasion of Israel. Today, it will be an Islamic invasion when the invaders home territories are identified. They are all Islamic! A three pronged Islamic invasion that ends in one of the most horrific chapters found in the Bible. Ezekiel 39 describes a sacrifice the God of the Bible provides for the beasts of the field, and the fowl of the air. The wild animalistic Islamic barbarians are wiped off the map as humiliating fodder of animals and beasts fitting their own vicious hearts.

 

God is going to deliver Israel from the Islamic hordes as He did in the days of old. Islam will never be an influence in the Holy Land after Ezekiel 39! Honorable Jews will be free to build the Last Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. Biblical Judaism will be brought back to the Promised Land. Blood sacrifice will be offered and accepted by a Holy God in remembrance of Calvary. The honorable Jews will build the last Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount (Ezekiel 40 - 48) in preparation for their coming returning Messiah. Ezekiel 38 & 39 then Ezekiel 40 - 48. The chronology is right, and the times sure seem to be right. The Jews will build during times of Great Tribulation. They will be hated by Apostate Christianity. The left be-hinders after the rapture. Apostate Christianity will deny the Jewish Messiah is the Biblical Christ. The phony christ of the liberal denominations, and all the phony Christians who put traditions,  misguided emotions, and false doctrines in front of the real Christ will hate the Jews for exposing them to the light of truth. They will oppose the building of a Jewish Temple for a Jewish Christ even more then did Islam. It will take real men of valor to stand in those days.

Friend, where will you stand? Will you be counted among the honorable who humbly came to Christ for forgiveness of sin, or will you stand among the proud who only give Him lip service? The time is short. What would make you think if you do not respond to Christ in theis dispensation that you would respond to Him in the next? 4 Bombings Kill 157 People in Baghdad

BAGHDAD (AP) - Four large bombs exploded in mostly Shiite areas of Baghdad on Wednesday, killing at least 157 people and wounding scores as violence climbed toward levels seen before the U.S.-Iraqi campaign to pacify the capital began two months ago.

In the deadliest of the attacks, a parked car bomb detonated in a crowd of workers at the Sadriyah market in central Baghdad, killing at least 112 people and wounding 115, said Raad Muhsin, an official at Al-Kindi Hospital where the victims were taken.

A police official confirmed the toll, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to release the information.

Among the dead were several construction workers who had been rebuilding the mostly Shiite marketplace after a bombing destroyed many shops and killed 137 people there in February, the police official said.

The laborers typically finish work around 4 p.m. each day. One of those wounded, 28-year-old Salih Mustafa, said he was waiting for a minibus to head home when the blast went off at 4:05 p.m.

"I rushed with others to give a hand and help the victims," he said. "I saw three bodies in a wooden cart, and civilian cars were helping to transfer the victims. It was really a horrible scene."

The market is situated on a side street lined with shops and vendors selling produce, meat and other staples. It is also about 500 yards from a Sunni shrine.

About an hour earlier, a suicide car bomber crashed into an Iraqi police checkpoint at an entrance to Sadr City, the capital's biggest Shiite Muslim neighborhood and a stronghold for the militia led by radical anti-U.S. cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

The explosion killed at least 30 people, including five Iraqi security officers, and wounded 45, police said.

Black smoke billowed from a jumble of at least eight incinerated vehicles that were in a jam of cars stopped at the checkpoint. Bystanders scrambled over twisted metal to drag victims from the smoldering wreckage as Iraqi guards staggered around stunned.

Earlier, a parked car exploded near a private hospital in the central neighborhood of Karradah, killing 11 people and wounding 13, police said. The blast damaged the Abdul-Majid hospital and other nearby buildings.

The fourth explosion was from a bomb left on a minibus in the central Rusafi area, area, killing four people and wounding six others, police said.

Also in Baghdad, four policemen were killed Wednesday afternoon when gunmen ambushed their patrol south of the city center, police said. Six pedestrians were wounded in the gunfire. ...

Today, we face the aftermath of the Virginia Tech killing spree. Media psychoanalysts are fast at work looking for answers to what motivated the deranged student to turn into a wild animal capable of murdering with such ferocity. I remember a ministry I had in the Snowy Mountains of Montana. One of the ranchers was having a problem with coyotes taking his sheep. He put his small herd of 80  into a coral next to the barn each night figuring the coyotes would not be so bold as to approach. He was right, and his losses to coyotes ended, but what he did not expect was a grizzly bear coming down from the mountains. It got into the coral and went on a killing spree. Something about animalistic beastly behavior kicked in, and that grizzly killed ever one of those helpless sheep in a matter of minutes. It was a horrific sight to behold. I'm sure not much different from what was seen in Baghdad, and Virginia this past week.

The Bible tells us that God created man with a conscience. A red flag goes up whenever we begin to step over the bounds of what God intended for Human being behavior. The conscience is a good thing. It can't save a lost sinner, but it can control civilized societies to function in a more equitable way. The problem with the conscience is that it can be over-ridden. It can be seared so it will no longer function. The average human being no matter what religion, or culture he comes from would not kill a helpless person much less a helpless little baby just to kill as that grizzly bear did in Montana. The conscience has to be seared before such beastly behavior can be activated. I'm sure there will be overwhelming evidence of a seared conscience of the Virginia killer should the media do a good job investigating. We already know what Islam has done with this generation of youth. They have taught them to hate the Jews. To sear their conscience so they can murder Jewish woman and children as easily as that Montana grizzly. Once the conscience is seared it makes no difference who's woman and children they murder. Islamic youth are trained from cradle to grave to be the barbarians that we see. The works of the barbarian is encouraged in Islam. They are the heroes. They are the elected leaders wherever Islamic democracy is found. The worst of them rise to power in all the other Islamic countries. The law of the barbarian rules. Woman become chattel both in this life and the next. Islamic paradise is for sexually perverted men only!

Friend, The Holy God of the Bible has a heaven for everyone. He demands dignity for women. He expects men to protect the honor of both woman and children. It is a curse for anyone to dismantle the family unit. Husbands are to love their wives, and die for them if necessary. The LORD Jesus Christ always honored woman. He protected the adulteress from the crowd. He used the conscience of these misguided men, but most importantly He charged the adulteress to sin no more. We can only assume that she never committed adultery again. We can only assume she righted as best she could the wrongs that she had done.

Friend, Jesus wants you to sin no more also. He knows unless your heart is changed your desires will always be to have the freedom to sin. Only when we are born again can we resist the temptations of the world, flesh and devil. There is only one way to be born again, and that is to come to the LORD Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sin. He not only saves you, but He gives you a new nature. The shackles of sin are broken, and for the first time you will be able to serve the Holy God of the Bible. This does not mean perfection! That comes later. What it does mean is that the promise of perfection is fixed. We are sealed unto the day of redemption when perfection is miraculously granted. We are granted something better then a conscience. We are given the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation to guide and direct our mind onto that which is holy. Sadly, because we retain the old nature the Holy Spirit can be grieved. He can be grieved, but He will never leave unto the day of redemption. Oh, how much better is a Holy God then the Arabic god of Mohamed as he wrote of him in the Koran. The god of the barbarian. Allah the god of Islam. The god of death and destruction. The deceiving god who is leading his followers to hell. Friend, come to Christ, and live. There is victory in Christ!

 

Iraq war is 'lost': US Democrat leader

The war in Iraq "is lost" and a US troop surge is failing to bring peace to the country, the leader of the Democratic majority in the US Congress, Harry Reid, said Thursday.

"I believe ... that this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week," Reid told journalists.

Reid said he had delivered the same message to US President George W. Bush on Wednesday, when the US president met with senior lawmakers to discuss how to end a standoff over an emergency war funding bill.

"I know I was the odd guy out at the White House, but I told him at least what he needed to hear ... I believe the war at this stage can only be won diplomatically, politically and economically."

Congress is seeking to tie funding for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to a timetable to withdraw US troops from Iraq next year, but Bush has vowed to veto any such bill and no breakthrough was reported from the White House talks.

Bush on Thursday was addressing an Ohio town hall meeting and defending the war on terror launched in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

 

"It is the most solemn duty of our country, is to protect our country from harm," Bush told the invited audience in Tipp, Ohio.

"A lesson learned was that -- at least in my opinion -- that in order to protect us, we must aggressively pursue the enemy and defeat them elsewhere so that we do not have to face them here."

But Reid drew a parallel with former US president Lyndon Johnson who decided to deploy more troops in Vietnam some 40 years ago when 24,000 US troops had already been killed.

"Johnson did not want a war loss on his watch, so he surged in Vietnam. After the surge was over, we added 34,000 to the 24,000 who died in Vietnam," Reid said.

The comments came a day after bombers killed more than 200 people in a slew of car bombings in Baghdad, dealing a savage blow to the US security plan which aims to deploy an extra 30,000 troops in the country to quell sectarian unrest.

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates fly into Iraq Thursday on an unannounced visit for talks with top US military commanders there.

He met with General David Petraeus, chief of coalition forces in Iraq, his deputy Lieutenant Colonel Ray Odierno and Admiral William Fallon, chief of US forces in the Middle East.

The Democratic Party is clear that as far as they are concerned the war is over. We lost to the Islamic barbarians! All those dead American soldiers who died in Iraq died for nothing. The Democrats want to play liberal politics with our honorable dead. They want to destroy their rival Republican President by rewriting history so great is their hate for him. They want the war in Iraq to be forever known as the Republican Bush war that was lost by the Republicans. The Democratic Congress wants to give the Islamic barbarians a free win only so that the liberal Democrats can say "see I told you so." It is a terrible price we are about to pay so these puffed up liberal politicians can have their day of  glory. They will glory in a lie. The war is not lost. We can fight these barbarians, but we must take off the kid gloves of the liberal politicians. The mad dogs Islam has nurtured for this day must be exterminated. I'm talking about the terrorists, and all those Moslems who support them. The Democrats by giving Islam a clear political victory in Iraq will only produce a vicious feeding frenzy of which the news media will be too embarrassed to report. The Democrats are on the road of politically giving Iraq to Iran. Hizbullah and Hamas (the Iranian terrorist organizations) will then be the government of the Arabic Palestinian State once the Road Map is implemented. Personally, I think the Jews (even the secular liberal Jewish politicians) will balk once the Road Map gets that close to reality. It will only cause Islam to invade with the evil thought of exterminating every Jewish man, woman, and child living in the Holy Land. I wonder how many liberal Democrats will glory when that happens?

It will be the lily livered Democrats who will encourage Islam to invade on that day. Islam will know all the negotiations by the liberal politicians for peace in the Holy Land are nothing more then an invitation to invade. They know these feather bedded politicians will never stand up to fight.  Nothing will move them out of their beds of comfort. They intend to talk the gullible into thinking Islam can never be defeated. Talk is all they will ever do, and Islam never felt obligated to abide by any agreements made with the infidels. God is too big to be thwarted by the big mouths of any generation. When Christ came the first time the big mouths thought Calvary meant their greatest victory over the Holy God of the Bible. Instead, God turned it into the greatest victory over sin! Today, the big mouths think if they can remove the Jews from the Holy Land it will be the greatest victory for a secular liberal peace. The God of the Bible is clear that He is going to turn the coming Islamic invasion of Israel into the death null for Islam. It will not be the Jews who get exterminated, but the Moslems! The Jews will then be free to build the last Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. They will build it for their soon returning Messiah. They will build it so the coming King of Glory will have the Biblical place from where He will reign.

Friend, victory is coming over the lying religious leaders and politicians of this generation. That victory will only be in Christ. Have you come to Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, or is Christ just a word used by your big mouth? Friend, the LORD Jesus Christ loves you. He died in your place so that a Holy God would be able to forgive your sin. He is the single blood atonement for sin. He is the only perfect sacrifice without spot or blemish that ever was offered. It is you who must humbly repent, and come to Him. His perfect blood has bought you a perfect salvation. A perfect heaven awaits you if you come. Islam wants a paradise for sexually perverted men. Barak, Peretz Trade Punches as Labor Campaign Heats Up

(IsraelNN.com) Labor party contestants Amir Peretz and Ehud Barak traded jabs with each other over the two wars in Lebanon, each accusing the other of disaster.

Former IDF Chief of Staff and Prime Minister Ehud Barak gave Defense Minister Amir Peretz damning praise Thursday night for being "talented" but inexperienced. The Defense Minister shot back, stating Barak has "no shame."

"Amir Peretz is a talented person and so is [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert," said Barak, who is trying to unseat Peretz in next month's Labor party primary ballot. "They had good intentions, and what happened to them proves that even among the highest ranks more experience is required."

Barak, who is almost tied with Ami Ayalon in pre-primary polls, kept up a polite stance by complimenting government leaders personally but using his former military background to cast a shadow on the lack of military experience of Defense Minister Peretz and Prime Minister Olmert.

"In the Middle East, the weak get no favors, and those who don't know how to defend themselves will not get a second chance," he said an annual commemoration ceremony in honor of fallen graduates of military boarding schools.

Peretz, who is a distant third in polls and who has suffered severe criticism for his part in the Second Lebanon War, quickly recalled Barak's hasty and unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000.

The Defense Minister ridiculed the former IDF Chief of Staff's own experience, blaming him for the re-arming of Hizbullah that resulted in the deaths of more than 150 soldiers and civilians in last summer's war and devastated Israel's reputation as a military power against Arab enemies.

"The man [Barak] took the IDF out of Lebanon in a unilateral action and without any agreement or international force and left Hizbullah free to gain strength at the border--he is responsible for closing his eyes," Peretz charged. "Barak is the father of Hizbullah's re-arming."


"Barak, with all the experience he has, has experience in fleeing, too, like his escape from Lebanon," Peretz charged. "[This] is what led to us wake up one day to the reality of an armed Hizbullah sitting on Israel's doorstep in tunnels they had been digging for years."

While Barak and Peretz raise the volume, with the current party chairman chiding Barak for making trips abroad instead of working at home with the party, MK Ayalon took the opportunity to boast party loyalty.

Ayalon reminded supporters in Ashkelon Thursday night that his backing of Peretz after he won the party leadership vote last year showed his desire to "keep the party united."

The former head of intelligence chided the two other contenders, saying that "in the years since Barak lost to Ariel Sharon, Sharon filled the political vacuum and there is a leadership vacuum after Sharon."

The former head of intelligence also charged Barak with not presenting his policy on key matters. "Whoever remains silent endangers the security of the State of Israel because he is liable to be elected and only then he will tell us what he wants."

A leadership vacuum is certainly the case. Sharon was head of the conservative party who jumped ship over the Road Map, and gave Gaza and Jericho to the Islamic barbarians. There is no political conservative party in Israel anymore. Not even Netanyahu the poster boy for conservative Americans leans more toward liberalism then conservatism. The political debates in Israel are really debates between secular liberal Jewish politicians each interested in their own personal glory. The give away of Judah and Samaria is the central pillar of the liberal political platform. With Judah goes almost all of Jerusalem, and sovereignty over the Temple Mount. The liberal politicians represent the city dwellers who love their feather bed existence. They would rather give the barbarians tribute then get out of their feather beds to fight. The problem is the barbarians have made it abundantly clear they are not focused on tribute, but on blood. The Islamic Arab Palestinians have raised a generation on hate. They nurtured them from cradle to grave for only one purpose, and that is to kill the Jews of the Holy Land. They are never going to be appeased. They will forever torture the Jews through terrorism until the final victory is theirs. The torture can go on for generation after generation. The barbarian sons of Ishmael and Esau are committed unto eternity. We here in America have quit after only a few short years. The liberal Democrats are entrenched in the Congress, and salivating at the  likelihood of taking the presidency at the next election. The barbarians are overjoyed. They praise Allah daily for having intimidated the liberals so that they will never stand up and fight. The barbarians don't even have to make empty promises to the infidels anymore. They can be wide open bragging of wiping Israel off the map, and frustrating the Americans who support the Jews. The political future for the Holy Land looks very bleak.

God has His own plan for the future of the Holy Land that will never be thwarted. So sure is that plan that God openly revealed it in the Bible. God put all of His reputation on the future of the Holy Land. The entire reputation of the God of the Bible rests on the return of the LORD Jesus Christ as the Jewish King of Glory coming to the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. Islam is openly challenging God for the Holy Land. The liberal politicians cowering in their feather beds are convinced Islam can't be stopped. They tell us we already lost the war in Iraq, and we should sit back leaving Islam determine the future for the Holy Land. We should abandon the Bible, and let the Koran make Islamic law the rule where the Bible says righteousness must prevail.

It will not be the politicians who awake the Jews, but the Lord. Right now the majority of Jews are captive to the secular liberal politicians. God tells us in the Bible that this is about to change. I do not know how far God is going to let the Olmert government go with their present give away plans, but I do know God will reel them in at the proper time. The inheritance of Christ won at Calvary is not going to be given to the barbarians for a perpetual terrorist State within the Holy Land. The politicians of this generation are doomed because of their disregard for the God of the Bible. Friend, what about you? Are you also doomed because of your disregard for what Christ did for you at Calvary? Will God reject you as you have rejected His Son? Come to Christ, and live! Wake up dear friend, and come to Christ for forgiveness of your sin. Come to Him for your salvation.

 

Pulitzer Prize Photo Star Beaten Seconds Afterwards

(IsraelNN.com) The latest breaking news photograph to win the prestigious Pulitzer Prize shows Nili, a 17-year-old girl from Jerusalem, facing off against dozens of policemen as she attempts to defend the Jewish homes in Amona.

Photos taken seconds later, which were not widely shown around the world, show how the story really ended, however: Nili is seen lying on the ground, with policemen beating her in the head with a club.

The prize-winning photo shows a long line of helmet-clad, black-uniformed, club-wielding policemen facing off against a young woman protestor; she is leaning heavily upon the large thick-plastic shield held by one of the policemen, as if to try and stop the entire line of policemen from advancing.
 

Nili, who did not divulge her family name, says the picture is a "desecration of G-d's name, as it shows Jews fighting Jews."

The Knesset, Israel's parliament, conducted an inquiry into the police violence at Amona. An English video documents the excessive use of police force which triggered the probe.

The police were engaged in forcibly removing many hundreds of protestors from the hilltop community of Amona, overlooking Ofrah in the Binyamin region of Judea and Samaria, in preparation for the destruction of nine Jewish concrete-and-stone homes. The Supreme Court had ruled that the homes were built on Arab-owned land - though no one had ever claimed ownership and the land had never been lived on or worked by Arabs.

The Associated Press prize-winning photographer is Oded Balilty of Israel. The picture in question had already won other international awards, including World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International, and more.

Nili returned with her parents to Amona on Thursday, and showed an AP press team and Israeli journalists the exact site of the photo. Sometimes choking back tears as she read aloud a prepared statement, Nili said the following: "When the State of Israel acts against the Land of Israel, and its soldiers and policemen are sent on missions of violence and destruction and expulsion of Jewish life from Gush Katif and northern Shomron and Amona - this is not a badge of honor, but rather a badge of shame.

"When I look at those policemen, I am unable to understand: Why did not even one of them stop in the name of ethics and ask himself if the order he received was moral or just? They simply acted as robots, at best, but in many cases as genuine sadists.

"People who look at the picture ask me: 'What did you think you were doing, one girl against a wave of black-uniformed policemen? Why didn't you run away?' The answer is that we came to struggle [against the injustice]. We didn't come to surrender or to run away. We felt and thought that all of this evil and injustice must come up against a strong wall of determination.

"I saw this long line of policemen and I thought to myself, 'Behind them is one man - Olmert, but behind me is G-d... Whoever looks around at the ruins of these homes in Amona [which remain un-rebuilt - ed.] understands that there was no purpose to this operation other than the desire for destruction and self-hate.

"It must be understood that there is a complete generation here of youth who grew up in Eretz [Land of] Yisrael, who believe in the Torah and Eretz Yisrael, who insists on leading the Nation of Israel in a different direction, and who is willing to fight for it.

"The violence and cruelty in Amona did not break us - but rather strengthened us. They can break our heads and bones, but they cannot break our spirit."

Asked if she sees herself as a heroine, Nili said, "I try to do whatever I can for Eretz Yisrael and the Nation of Israel, to do what is necessary according to the Torah... I don't want to talk about myself."

Nili made reference to the pictures taken immediately after the Pulitzer-winner, "in which the policemen are 'punishing' me for daring to stand against them. But I have news for them: They did not succeed. What I did in Amona, I am willing, if necessary, to do again."

A more cynical view of the photo and what it represents was taken by commentator Haggai Segal writing for the weekly Makor Rishon: "This was all the police needed now: A prestigious Pulitzer Prize for a photo eternalizing dozens of Israeli policemen storming a defenseless female protestor with their clubs. Even blatant police regimes such as North Korea and Iran have not produced of late such a dramatic and provocative picture like this one. It is even more shivering than the famous shot of the Chinese student standing against a tank in Tiananmen Square. On Chanukah, we'll be able to use it as a great illustration of the idea of the 'few against the many.' ..."
 

Segal said that left-wing copywriters could probably think of captions that would give the photo a pro-police tilt. He suggested the following:

*  "Extremist Settler Attacking Policemen"
*  "A Solution for Every Settler: Police Solving Problems in Amona"

God is bringing judgment to this generation! The reason why is obvious. The children of God are being persecuted by the liberal politicians. The Bible is being attacked as not being practical for answers to the present conflict. The majority of Jews living in Israel are liberal, and are convinced the Bible is irrelevant as a guide for the future of the Holy Land. However, one 17 year old girl is pictured standing for God who told the Jews in the Bible to occupy the Promised Land. One 17 year old girl is pictured standing against the Olmert government bent on giving most of the Holy Land, all of Judah and Samaria, most of the city of Jerusalem, and eventually Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount to the Islamic Arab barbarians. One 17 year old girl is pictured standing up against the gentile nations fixed on making the Road Map operational in the Holy Land. One 17 year old girl is pictured standing against the Koran, and for the Bible as the book that will rule over the Holy Land. One 17 year old girl is pictured as representing the Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers in their battle to keep their inheritance God has already given them in the Holy Land.  One 17 year old girl is not pictured as the victor, but according to the Bible Jews motivated like her will be those who enter into the coming Jewish Kingdom.

This Pulitzer prize photo represents the coming Great Tribulation revealed in the book of Revelation. I see the tiny remnant for God standing against the world led by the antichrist. I see Armageddon! I see the LORD Jesus Christ putting His arms on either side of a 17 year old girl like the one pictured here, and then see all this apparent overpowering rush collapse by just His word.

Friend, the crowds may have the upper hand as we move into these last days. The power they wield may seem unstoppable. It is easy to jump on the bandwagon, and push God out of your life. You must look to the Bible to see where the crowd is headed. It is death and destruction. It is the road to hell. Friend, you must leave the crowd. You must get on the other side of the barrier. You must stand with the small remnant that are standing for God in this present generation. You must get to the right side that is standing for the righteousness of God. In the Pulitzer prize picture I see only one Jew standing for righteousness. God tells us in the Bible it is right for the Jews to occupy the Promised Land. There is no other way for the Bible to be fulfilled. Christ is coming again as the Jewish King of Glory. He is coming to the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. He is coming to redeem the Jews first. He is coming to establish the Kingdom of heaven. Friend it is right for you in this dispensation to come to Christ for your salvation. Those who do not prove they reject Him. They are part of the great crowd on their way to Armageddon, and eternal condemnation. Salvation is offered freely to you this very day, but you must leave the crowd and come to Christ. There is no other way. Won't you come?

Remembrance Day Begins Tonight

(IsraelNN.com) Commemoration of Yom HaZikaron, Israel's Memorial Day for its fallen soldiers and terrorism victims, will begin at 8:00 this evening (Sunday) with a country-wide siren and minute of silence.

The opening ceremony will take place at the Western Wall, with the participation of Chief Rabbis Amar and Metzger.

A second siren will be sounded tomorrow morning, at 11 AM, once again bringing all activity to a standstill and marking the beginning of memorial ceremonies at the 43 military cemeteries around the country. A Knesset Member or government official will speak at each ceremony.

A special ceremony will also be held in memory of Jews murdered by terrorists and anti-Semites around the world. Some 200 such Jews will be remembered at tomorrow's ceremony at Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem. The event is being organized by the Jewish Agency, the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish National Fund, and the UJC of North America. A monument with the names of the victims will be unveiled.

The names of all Israel's fallen soldiers and terrorist victims will be broadcast on Israel's public television channel this evening and tomorrow, one after the other, for 4-5 seconds each.

The somber day comes to an end tomorrow evening (Monday) with the onset of Israel's 59th Independence Day.

Both Remembrance Day and Independence Day are commemorated one day later this year than usual, by order of the Chief Rabbinate, in order to prevent the Sabbath desecration that would have resulted from having Remembrance Day begin on Saturday night.

18,784 soldiers and security personnel have fallen since the U.N. decision to establish a Jewish State on Nov. 29, 1947. In recent years, Yom HaZikaron has been expanded to include civilians killed by terror attacks as well.

The number of soldiers and security personnel who have fallen since Nov. 29, 1947, when the UN accepted the partition, thus mandating the creation of a Jewish State, is 20,526. The struggle to re-create a Jewish homeland beginning in the year 1860, when Jews began to move outside Jerusalem's Old City walls, claimed an additional close to 1,500 victims.

The War of Independence was Israel's costliest war, with more than 6,000 dead and 15,000 wounded. The war consisted of 39 separate operations, fought from the borders of Lebanon to the Sinai Peninsula and Eilat, and was fought for about a year, until 1949.

Then followed seven years of relative quiet - during which there were "1,339 cases of armed clashes with Egyptian armed forces, 435 cases of incursion from Egyptian-controlled territory, and 172 cases of sabotage perpetrated by Egyptian military units and fedayeen in Israel," in which 101 Israelis were killed, as Israeli Ambassador to the UN Abba Eban explained to the Security Council on October 30, 1956. Eban gave these statistics the day after Israel began the Sinai Campaign - its military response to Egypt's violation of international agreements by sealing off the Israeli port of Eilat, effectively stopping Israel's sea trade with much of Africa and the Far East. A total of 231 Israeli soldiers died in the fighting. In March 1957, after receiving international guarantees that Israel's vital waterways would remain open, Israel withdrew from the Sinai and Gaza - yet the Egyptians still refused to open the Suez Canal to Israeli shipping.

The Six-Day War broke out on June 5, 1967. Despite the stunning victories, over 770 Israelis were killed.

Then began the period of the War of Attrition, which claimed ,424 soldiers and more than 100 civilians. A ceasefire was declared on August 8, 1970.

Egypt and Syria attacked Israel on Yom Kippur, 1973. The IDF ultimately emerged victorious, but a total of 2,688 soldiers were killed.

In June 1982, in response to continued terrorist attacks from across the Lebanese border, as well as an assassination attempt upon Israel's Ambassador to Great Britain Shlomo Argov, Israel attacked the terrorists in Lebanon in what was known as Operation Peace for Galilee. Close to 460 soldiers were killed between June and December 1982, and another 760 in daily ambushes against Israeli forces over the next two and a half years.

Between December 1987, when the first Arab "intifada" broke out, and the signing of the Oslo Accords in late 1993, 90 Israelis were killed.

Between the Oslo signing and the beginning of what became known as the Oslo War (seven years), 251 Israelis were killed.

Another 1,287 have been felled by PA terrorists and gunmen since September 2000.

In the year 2000, then-Prime Minister Barak wrote to the bereaved families,
"We visit today the rows of graves that extend to infinity... we still refuse to believe and we refuse to be consoled. Because there is no consolation. Heavy, maybe too heavy, is the price we bear for our independence and building the 52 years of the State of Israel."

In contrast, the late Rabbi Shlomo Goren, the first Chief Rabbi of the Israel Defense Forces and the man who was responsible for setting the date of Remembrance Day, explained the day's significance differently: "We view the warriors who fall in battle as those who sprout forth life. The life of a nation grew out of this blood... This day must be more than mourning: We must remember, we must grieve, but it must be a day of mourning, majesty, and vision."

Interestingly, Barak himself took a similar tone when he spoke at the Mt. Herzl ceremony in 2000, saying, "...their deaths are the precious price of freedom and our re-establishment. It is my hope that a strong and secure State of Israel will be, with the help of G-d, the consolation of the bereaved families."

Rabbi Goren explained, in a 1974 speech, how he came to set Remembrance Day just before Independence Day: "The merit of doing this fell in my lot.. We first thought of setting Remembrance Day on Lag BaOmer, the day that historically symbolizes the Bar Kokhba war, and that which is still celebrated by Jewish children as the day of Jewish strength. In this way, we thought that we could combine the heroism of our early ancestors with that of our own children in this generation. But doubts crept in. Would we not cause harm to the general significance, shrouded in mystery as it is, of that historic day?

"One of the Fast Days, or during the Three Weeks in which we remember the destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy Temples, was then proposed. But we could not accept the fact that the Day of Remembrance would be solely a day of mourning. It was felt that this day must be more than that. We must remember, we must grieve, but not only that - it must [also] be a day of... majesty and vision.

"We realized, therefore, that we could not assign this day to any existing holiday. But the first Independence Day was rapidly approaching, and so we did what we did - without announcing it formally and without setting any specific format for the day. I went to Voice of Israel studios on the day before Independence Day and read aloud the Chief of Staff’s Daily Military Order, which he wrote according to my request. And so I became the narrator and the one who set Remembrance Day on what became its date."

The God of the Bible well knew the price for this miraculous Third Exodus. He already knows the price yet to be paid before the Jews build the next Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount which is the purpose of His bringing the Jews back to the Promised Land in this our generation. We count the cost in human lives and suffering. God counts the cost in a totally different dimension. The cost to God is the blood shed by His only begotten Son on Calvary. One drop has more value then this entire creation. No price can be placed on just one single drop of Christ's blood much less all that was spilt leading up to, and on the cross in that one single day. His body was ripped to ribbons by the Roman lash even before the nails were driven through His flesh. No slaughter house could compare with what the sinful barbarians did to the meek and lowly LORD Jesus Christ. The Jews are counting the cost this week in their heroic dead, and a terrible price they are paying. God is counting the value of the blood of Christ, and is telling us today the cost must be recompensed even though it is valued beyond measure. Sin is what drove the barbarians to crucify Christ, and sin must be judged! The Bible is clear it is Christ who will judge this world. It is Christ who will end sin forever! The Bible tells us Christ is coming again to establish His Kingdom. It will be a perfect Kingdom ruled over by a perfect King. It is the perfect inheritance that He purchased with His perfect blood. Satan will be bound for His thousand year reign, and sin will be outlawed! Perfect righteousness will rule with a rod of iron! Woe to any who would rebel against His purity and holiness.

Today, we live in a generation ripe for judgment. God well knows the heart of both Jew and gentile. He has made an evaluation of our age, and it is not good.

God is not going to leave this generation in the darkness for long. This is why He brought the Jews back. This is why the miraculous Third Exodus is taking place right now! The LORD Jesus Christ is coming again to the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. It is to bring nigh the salvation which is now far off from us. The blood of Christ is not going to be ground into the mud by this evil generation. God is determined that Christ be given honor and glory. His salvation bought with His own blood will be the most important part of all things taking place during the Kingdom Age. Worship will be the highest exercise any one could strive.

Friend, are you among the blind of this generation? Is salvation far off? Is judgment the only thing you are sure is coming? Then you are in need of coming to Christ. His salvation is free. There is no price. The greatest gift ever offered is given freely to any who will come. Friend, come to Christ!

Israel: 3,500 Years Old, 59 Years Young

(IsraelNN.com) Jews and others around the world are celebrating the 59th birthday of the re-birth of the Jewish State. The faith and fears that faced the Jews in their 3,500-year history remain today.

Since the birth of the Jews as a nation in ancient Egypt, enemies of the Jewish people have waged wars against them until today, 59 years after the reborn State of Israel survived the War of Independence. The Jews in Israel survived an onslaught from seven better-armed neighboring Arab armies who marched into the nascent state to annihilate any Jewish sovereign presence. The Arab states rejected a United Nations mandate to split Israel between a smaller Jewish state and a larger Trans-Jordan country.

'We have won before and we will win again'
"We have won before and we will win again, for we have no other choice," Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik said at the opening Independence Day celebrations Monday night in Jerusalem. We have been living for 59 years in a war, the end of which is not yet in sight.

"Residents of Iran, Syria and the Palestinian Authority: has there not been enough blood spilled, yours and ours? Replace your Katyushas and Kassams with computers and education, and finally, be rewarded with peace and quiet," she said. "Israel lives and lets live."

At the same hour she spoke, Arab terrorists attempted to fire another Kassam rocket on Israel. It backfired and exploded at the launching site. No one was injured.

The festivities began immediately after the torch-lighting ceremony at the conclusion of Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers

Former President Yitzhak Navon led the torch-bearers, who included Eliyahu Sakharov, an aide to the Haganah chief in the 1930s and Shulamit Cohen-Kishik, a Mossad agent from the late 1940s who helped bring persecuted Jews from Arab nations to Israel and escaped a death sentence in Beirut.

An Australian Jewish News column noted, "As Israel marks its 59th birthday, the Jewish State is caught between the celebration of its incredible achievements and the specter of a nuclear Iran vowing to “wipe it off the map”--not to mention a scandal-ridden public service, from the president and prime minister down.

"What Israel desperately needs--and doesn’t seem to have right now--is a leader who can resuscitate a belief in the true essence of Zionism, who can convince people that things can still change for the better and who, yes, can import some Diaspora optimism--especially the Australian brand--to offset the perpetually prevailing Israeli doom and gloom."

The Los Angeles Jewish Journal described the situation in Israel today with two caricatures--one of a birthday cake with the words "Peace Hopes" under the banner of Israel Independence Day, 2005, when the Sharon government expelled 10,000 Jews, destroyed their homes and communities and turned over the areas to the Palestinian Authority promising improved security for the Israeli citizens. The second picture shows a cake with a rocket stuck inside it and labeled "The next Hizbullah attack" under the banner Israel Independence Day, 2007.

An editorial in The New York Jewish Week stated, "Israelis are resilient, and whether one sees their modern history as miraculous or merely remarkable, the fact is that they have overcome horrific efforts to destroy them and have not only survived but thrived.... For its citizens and for so many Jews around the world, Israel remains “Hatikva,” the hope--of a brighter future and, in the words of the state’s national anthem, “to be a free people in our land, the land of Zion and Jerusalem.”

The problem I see at 59 years is that it is not the Jew's land of Zion and Jerusalem. It belongs to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. His purpose is not to give the Jews a land where they are free to sin whenever they so feel. A land where it is optional for the Jews to practice Biblical Judaism. A land where 80% of the Jews can say they do not believe in God. No, it is a land intended for righteousness and holiness. The Jewish claim is only valid as they obey God! Today, we have the Exodus in reverse. The Sharon government turned Jericho over to the barbarians with the withdrawal from the Gaza. The same Jericho which symbolized the victory Joshua attributed to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Now, the Olmert government is intent on turning over all of Judah and Samaria to the barbarians. Oh what a contrast in the attitude of the Jews of the First Exodus when compared to the Jews of this present Third Exodus. Olmert has sworn by his name that he will give most of Jerusalem to the barbarians before his 4 year term ends. Watch the sovereignty over the Temple Mount go with Jerusalem when the day comes to give it to the Islamic Arab barbarians. 60 years of this kind of Judaism going on in the Holy Land is just too much. The last great victory God gave the Jews in spite of themselves was in 1967 when God gave them all of Judah and Samaria. The entire city of Jerusalem became Jewish. The Gaza and Jericho surrendered to the overwhelming force of the Jewish army. Most important of all was the Temple Mount. For the first time in almost 2000 years the holy Temple Mount was Jewish once again. The Jews should have flooded to the Mount, and bulldozed away those shrines to the barbarians that now stand on this most holy site. Construction should have started on the next Jewish Temple. It did not happen. The blessings ended, and the curses began. It must be abundantly clear that all the blessings of the 1967 victory are being treated by the liberal secular political majority in Israel as a great curse. Like a hot potato the politicians can't work fast enough to pass those land gains on to the barbarians. They don't even want an agreement of restraint from the barbarians. They just want to dump that land as quickly as possible. All they do is compound their sin. It is God's land, and He chose to give it to the Jews in 1967. It can't be given away. The pressure is for the Jews to submit to the holiness God demands of them! All attempts to turn intended blessings into Islamic Arab occupied land will fail as is already the case in the Gaza where wave after wave of Kassam rockets rain down on the Jews.

Great Tribulation is coming to these Jews who are so stiff-necked.  The 40th anniversary of the 1967 War will be remembered this coming June. An entire generation must now face the fact that God holds them responsible. They are without excuse for not building the next Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. The consequences are grave! The Jews must submit to the demands of God. It was true at the First Exodus, and remains true for this Third Exodus.

Holiness is not an option for the Jews who live in the Holy Land. God reveals He is the source that brought each individual Jew to this land at this moment in history. His purpose is clear. Hamas Launches Independence Day Rocket Attack on Israel

(IsraelNN.com) Kassam rockets fired by Hamas terrorists slammed into the western Negev in the early morning light of Israel's Independence Day, in a faint echo of the Arab attacks on the nascent state in 1948.

In a statement issued from Gaza City, the Izz a-Din al-Kassam Brigades, said it had fired up to 30 rockets and 50 mortar shells at Israel. The terror group said the attack was a “reaction to the continued Zionist crimes against our people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.”

Izz a-Din al-Kassam is a military unit in the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Hamas faction.

An IDF spokesman dismissed the claim, and told Arutz-7 that only two rockets actually reached Israeli territory “north of Gaza” out of a total of six rockets that were launched.

Eight mortar shells also reached the western Negev, according to the army spokesman, although “more were launched.” The specific number of mortar shells fired at Israel was unavailable.

No injuries or damage were reported in the attacks, said the spokesman. Residents in an unidentified community in southern Israel reported some damage, according to Ynet.

IDF helicopters returned fire, shooting at the open areas in which the launch sites were identified, but hit no one. “That was not the intent,” said the army spokesman, who added the primary goal of the IDF response was deterrence. He declined further comment.

Tuesday morning’s attack was the first by a Hamas terrorist group in five months and could signal the end of the limited ceasefire with the Palestinian Authority that began last year.

The November 26th agreement called for Israel to withdraw its forces and PA terrorist groups to halt the rocket attacks on western Negev communities. Israel stuck to its promise, but more than 200 missiles have been fired at Israel from Gaza since the supposed ceasefire went into effect.

Kassam Attack Near Ashkelon
 

(IsraelNN.com) Terrorists in Palestinian Authority-controlled Gaza launched a Kassam rocket at Ashkelon on Thursday afternoon. The rocket landed in an open area near the city. No injuries or damage have been reported in the attack.

Well over 200 rockets have been launched from Gaza since a ceasefire was declared in late 2006. A coalition of terrorist groups announced Thursday that they would consider keeping the ceasefire if Israel agrees to halt all counter-terrorist activities.

Israel! Do not put up your guard when we attack or we will never agree to stop attacking! These are the barbarian terms for peace. Put down your arms, and put your head on the chopping block if you want peace with us! How ridiculous are the Jews of this generation that they actually try to negotiate with these barbarians. The puffed up liberal politicians are so filled with their own pride that they think they can out negotiate the barbarians through their own wit. How foolish it is to negotiate with liars! How bold are the barbarians that they don't even see a need to lie either to the Jews, or to the international community any longer. They have raised a generation of cold blooded killers who hate the Jew above all other things. How can the seed of Ishmael and Esau ever be expected to live peaceably side by side with the Jews? Each coming generation of Islam is worse then the one that went before. Depravity has no bounds once the Islamic barbarians put it into practice. A people even worse in depravity then the Tojo Japs, and Hitler Nazis who went before them. The blasphemous effort to give forever these openly barbaric people most of the Holy Land, most of Jerusalem, and eventually full sovereignty over the Temple Mount as described in the road Map should be opposed just as openly by every Bible believing Christian. The recently elected Democratic Congress which hate the Bush White House to the point of calling for impeachment have one White House action for which they rejoice. That was when Bush adopted their much beloved Road Map plan for peace in the Holy Land from the atheistic Russians and Europeans. The Decorates were beside themselves that such a liberal plan would become the Evangelical White House plan also. Ariel Sharon did his infamous flip flop right after the adoption. The Gaza and Jericho were given to the barbarians as the very first step to draw the Jewish Nation into full compliance with the intensions of the Road Map. There is no conservative voice in Israel any longer since the flip flop, and with this last congressional election it looks like the United States is following the same path. Liberals like Olmert and Pelocy are now dictating the future of the Holy Land. They want a negotiated peace with the Islamic barbarians! They are so puffed up in their own pride that they have convinced themselves by their own wit without any need of God they will get their way even when the barbarians openly tell them to drop dead.

The only god who wins with the Road Map is Allah of the Koran. The Islamic Palestinians want an international safe haven from which to launch attacks forever on the Jewish population as is being done this very moment in the Gaza. Israel is afraid to retaliate into the Gaza because of the international outcry. The Road Map would give Islam all of Judah and Samaria as a forever internationally protected Islamic barbarian State where Islamic law must be eternally honored.  The rockets will not just rain down from Gaza, but from all over. The Liberal politicians will say such is their witty price for peace in the Holy Land.

Friend, there is an assault from this generation on your eternal soul. The witty people of this generation overwhelmingly agree you have no need for God in your life. They will tell you to listen to them. They are the shakers and movers in this generation. It is in their wit that you can put your trust. Friend, the greatest liar of all time has put his hook in their nose. He is leading them to death and destruction. He wants you to compliantly follow the crowd. Stand up dear friend! Step out from the masses on their way to hell. Your redeemer has come! He paid the price of your sin on Calvary. The only thing that separates you from the Holy God of the Bible is your unwillingness to come to Christ! This generation of leaders are telling you there is no need for Christ. They have everything under their control. Do not let such foolishness dictate the direction of your life. The future of Islam, and their Arabic god Allah is revealed in Ezekiel 39. It is only a foretaste of where the entire gentile world is headed. Friend, your only hope is to step out from the crowd, and come to Christ for eternal salvation.

IDF trains for Syrian attack on the Golan
Analysts: Damascus likely to use heavy missile attack on homefront 

The IDF conducted large intensive training operations yesterday to prepare for the possibility of a Syrian attack on the Golan Heights. According to reports, hundreds of tanks and thousands of soldiers backed by aircraft gathered in the Judean Desert for wartime simulations.

Since the end of the Second Lebanon War with Hizb'Allah, Israeli intelligence has warned that war with Syria is closer than ever, and the IDF has been on heightened alert in the North in preparation for the possibility of a surprise attack.

Syrian President Bashar Assad seems to have been encouraged by Hizb'Allah's surprise success in fighting the IDF last year, and may now be motivated to launch hostilities in an effort to retrieve the Golan Heights. Analysts believe that Assad will either initiate a surprise attack to capture one or two Israeli communities or begin by firing long-range ballistic missiles at the Israeli homefront.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the assumption within the defense establishment is that while war with Syria would definitely be of a conventional nature, Damascus would most likely utilize its large ballistic missile arsenal and its division of several thousand elite commandos.

Additionally, Thursday's drill indicated that the IDF has not ruled out the possibility that a war would also entail tank battles, once believed to have been a relic of historic wars like the Six Day War in 1967 and the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Israel seems on the road of underestimating their Islamic foes once again. I would think if Syria learned anything from Hizbullah it is not to fight a conventional war with the Jews. Long term ambush type hit and run tactics are what work for Islam both during the Lebanon War and in Iraq. The idea is to draw Israeli forces into traps. Head on frontal attacks are suicide. The idea is to keep the advanced multi-billion dollar Israeli Air Force on the ground by not giving them massive targets. A war of attrition is a war that is winnable from people ruled by liberal politicians who have grown fat and lazy. All the while the Israeli Air Force sits the Syrians are prepared to fire an endless barrage of ballistic rockets from a multitude of hidden underground bunkers. Accuracy is only important in that they hit population centers. They know the international community will never stand for the Jews striking back with the same blood thirsty targeting as the barbarians are capable of conducting. The Syrians can claim dumb bombs that hit schools and hospitals are proper while the Jewish smart bombs are restricted to having absolutely no collateral damage. The Jews will be restricted to only military property as they attempt to fight the barbarians who have no rules whatsoever. It will be a perpetual Jewish blood bath that will gain the tribute of the Golan Heights for the Syrians, not a conventional victory in war.

The blessings changed to curses for the Jews in 1967. The Jordanian Army retreated across the Jordan River leaving behind a small group of Islamic clergy on the Temple Mount. They gave the keys to the one-eyed Israeli commander Moshe Dayan. It was then that the politicians stepped in. They wanted to show the International Community how much compassion the Jews have in victory. They wanted Islam to see the Jews remembered their captivity among the nations, and were not going to deal with the Moslems the way the Moslems dealt with them when they were the occupied in Islamic countries. The Palestinian Arabs have been showing their gratitude ever since. The International Community represented by the United Nations showed their response to Jewish compassion by writing one sided resolutions against Israel ever since.

Friend, seeking the compassion of this world is worthless. The only compassion that has meaning is that which God manifested to the world when the Lord Jesus Christ came the first time. He came as the only perfect atonement for sin that was acceptable to a Holy God. The Bible makes it clear that it was due to the compassion of God for lost sinners that He allowed sin filled men to nail His only begotten Son on Calvary. It was because God loves lost sinners, and wants to see them saved.

RCA, Israeli Rabbinate Agree to Standardize Conversions

(IsraelNN.com) The Rabbinical Council of America (RCA), the largest Orthodox rabbinic group in the world, and the Chief Rabbinate of the State of Israel, have reached an agreement that will formalize mutual recognition of Orthodox conversions to Judaism.

The agreement involves the automatic recognition in Israel of conversions performed by any one of the participating batei din (rabbinical courts) which will be part of the soon to-be-established network of Regional Batei Din for Geirut (conversion.) All participating batei din will follow standardized procedures at every step of the conversion process.

Rabbi Barry Freundel, Chairman of the joint Geirut Policies and Standards Committee said “this historic and long-overdue agreement is a major milestone – not just for future converts to Judaism and their descendants, but for the entire Jewish people, in North America, Israel, and around the world. By thus standardizing conversions procedures and standards, many individuals, families, rabbis and Jewish communities will be able to avoid many of the problems heretofore experienced."

Who is a Jew? This question has caused nothing but problems since the State of Israel was established. 80% of the Jews living in Israel do not believe in God, but have no problem being Jewish under current Judaism. Their mother was Jewish, and so they are Jewish. The exception is natural born Jews who become Christians. They are not Jews according to the RCA, and the chief Rabbinate of Israel. Being Jewish according to the leaders of today's Judaism has nothing to do with ethnicity. It has everything to do with their unbiblical theology that now has been standardized. The issue here is more about conversions then determining ethnic origin, but these same groups make the final decision on both issues. A person could trace his or her heritage back to Abraham himself, yet these puffed up religionists have the authority today to rule then not Jewish. What is a Christian Jew's legal ethnicity according to these modern day Pharisees? Imagine similar groups ruling me as no longer Bohemian because I won't go along with their personal theology?

Judaism today is truly the leaven of the Pharisees as Christ had warned. A few puffed up rabbis make all the decisions. They change the Jewish law whenever the wind blows. They invent tradition which all of Judaism is expected to uphold. They are as changeable as the wind. They are the instruments of the liberal politicians much as the Pharisees of Christ's day were the instruments of the Roman government. I have no doubts that when God turns the hearts of many Jews to their Messiah the LORD Jesus Christ that these modern Pharisees will reject Him out of hand. Today, they forbid any Messianic Jews from applying for citizenship. I doubt they will change after the rapture takes [lace, and God starts calling out Jews for redemption. The Bible speaks of a one-eyed one armed Jewish leader who is called the idol shepherd.

Zechariah 11:15-17

15 And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

I should be safe for it is my left eye that is utterly darkened. I'm thankful for the little sight I still have in my right eye. I feel so sorry for those who are spiritually dead. It is far better to be physically blind then spiritually blind. The great majority of Jews follow the liberal Olmert who has sworn to giver the barbarians all of Judah, and Samaria before his term ends as Prime Minister. They follow this foolish shepherd today, and will follow the antichrist tomorrow if God does not intervene.

Friend, it is all about having a changed heart. The Jews of the next dispensation will need a circumcised heart. Both the Jews and gentiles of this dispensation need to be born again. It is only a small remnant of any generation that come to the God of the Bible for salvation. Friend, the foolish shepherds are without number. Their goal is to use you to climb to the top of of their profession. They will eat you up in their climb to fame and fortune. Only Christ feeds His sheep.

Winograd Findings Lead to Calls for Olmert to Resign

(IsraelNN.com) The interim Winograd report on the Second Lebanon War has not yet been published, but leaked previews have already prompted calls for the government's resignation.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz, and ex-IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz all came in for varying degrees of sharp criticism regarding their functioning in last summer's war with Hizbullah. Some details of the preliminary findings were publicized by Channel Ten news over the weekend.

Though the members of the Winograd Commission were practically hand-picked by Olmert, they found him to have "failed" in the way he oversaw the war. The word "failure" repeats itself several times in the Commission's summary of his performance, though neither he, nor anyone else, is specifically called upon to resign.

Findings in Brief
Olmert "acted with hastiness and arrogance," the Commission found. He did not consult with bodies other than the IDF, such as the National Security Council, and did not even convene the mini-security Cabinet before ordering the army to act. He was led by the army, instead of leading. The Prime Minister did not demand that the army provide him with alternatives, and did not properly deal with the "local operation" becoming a full-fledged war.

Peretz was castigated for assuming the position of Defense Minister altogether without having been properly prepared for such. He also did not properly study the problems at hand, and did not consult sufficiently with the experts in his office. Peretz was cleared of responsibility for the army's lack of preparation, which largely occurred in the years before he became Defense Minister.

Gen. Halutz, who resigned following the army's internal investigation of the war three months ago, was found to have belittled Hizbullah's Katyusha rocket capacities, and did not provide alternatives to the government.

Though the Commission was appointed in order to review the errors of the Second Lebanon War so that the proper lessons might be learned and the deficiencies be corrected, the immediate result of the leaked findings appears to be only political. The question at hand is: Will public opinion force the Prime Minister to resign? Olmert and allies are bracing to remain in power, the Opposition has already begun steps to oust the government, and some members of Kadima and other coalition parties are remaining on the fence, waiting to see what develops.

Opposition leader MK Binyamin Netanyahu of the Likud met on Friday with far-left Meretz party leader MK Yossi Beilin, to discuss the report's political ramifications. Beilin said, unsurprisingly, that he would not support a replacement government headed by Netanyahu. Despite this, following the Channel Ten revelations, Beilin said that Olmert must resign immediately.

Within the coalition, Labor's Danny Yatom - an underdog in the Labor race for party leader next month - said the entire government must resign. MKs Zevulun Orlev and Aryeh Eldad (National Union/National Religious Party) also called, once again, for Olmert's resignation.

National Union faction chairman MK Uri Ariel has already submitted a legislative proposal for the dissolution of the Knesset and new elections.  "The Winograd conclusions and the resulting public sentiment require that we prepare for new elections," Ariel explained, "and we might as well come up with an agreed-upon date among the various parties."

Anti-Government Rally on Thursday
A large anti-government protest rally has already been announced for this Thursday in Tel Aviv. The protest has been called by the Civil Coalition, headed by retired IDF General Uzi Dayan.

A critical question is whether Olmert's Kadima party will stick with him. On the one hand, Kadima generally supported the war effort whole-heartedly, but some pockets of resistance were heard within a few days of the beginning of the war. Most worrisome for Olmert is the fact that his main competitor, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, will be able to say that she asked for limitations on the offensive and the opening of diplomatic channels just days after the war started, but Olmert did not agree.

Incompetence is the issue. Olmert knew he needed the army to evict over 250,000 Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers from Judah and Samaria. The Israeli army like the United States army is mostly made up of conservative minded folks. Many officers privately complained that it would be difficult to obey orders calling for violent eviction of fellow Jews off their land. Some officers even lived on the lands marked for eviction. Olmert played the political game, and replaced competent conservative officers with political hacks out of the officer corps. Party affiliation was all that mattered, not competence. A great shuffling took place, and conservative officers were moved into low priority positions. Less competent officers who had the right liberal political leanings replaced them. Olmert was ready to move on the settlers! Suddenly the Lebanon War broke out, and Israel went into battle with a host of untried liberal officers. The disaster is what the Winograd Report is all about. Israel lost to Hizbullah. Israel in spite of invasion could not stop Hizbullah from firing rockets into Jewish population centers. If anything, the rate of rocket fire increased. The range began to expand. Olmert the ever calculating liberal politician then did something almost unbelievable. He went into the General Staff which had been immune to politics until that time, and said changes needed to be done in the aftermath of such a disgraceful showing by the Israeli Army. He cleaned out all the remaining conservative officers forcing them into retirement. He replaced them with the same incompetent liberal minded officers who had just failed on the battle field causing this disaster. Olmert is not preparing for war with Islam. He is preparing for war with the Jews. The Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers to be exact.

It appears even the liberal secular Jews of Israel are getting fed up with Olmert. His days may be numbered. The sad thing is someone even worse then Olmert will probably replace him. There is no mood among the Jews to swing back to a more conservative government. The liberals are entrenched, and nothing is going to be able to dig them out. Nothing but God when the time is right. A remnant of Jews are going to be sealed at the moment of the rapture. 144,000 of them to be exact. An angel from the East who has the seal of God will mark them on their foreheads. The Bible says they will be the firstfruits of the next dispensation. The Church Age ends with the rapture, and as the saints of God go up an angel descends to earth sealing this small remnant of Jews. This planet will never be without a testimony for Christ.

Revelation 7:1-4

7 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

God does not need a majority to accomplish His will. A few good men is all that is needed. The masses have been rejecting Him down through the ages. The great flood of Noah saw only 8 survive the waters of God's wrath. The masses perished in judgment. The ending of this dispensation will only see a very small remnant of the earth, and even a remnant among the throngs claiming the title of Christian who will be translated into the presents of Christ ending the Church Age. The masses will all be left behind to face judgment in the Great Tribulation. A remnant among the millions of Israelis. A mere 144,000 Jews will set the foundation for the next dispensation of the Kingdom Age. These are going to be very special Jews.

Revelation 14:1-5

14 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

These firstfruits of the next dispensation are most probably alive in Israel right now. Children, Virgins, in who's mouth is found no guile, men who are without fault before the throne of God. These will not be political men. They will be sold out to the Lamb of God. They will be redeemed from the earth! They will be the ones qualified to build the Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. They will be the ones who will be able to establish acceptable Holy worship of God in the soon coming Temple. Their fruit is a wonderment. In just 7 years under the worst time of adversity, they will accomplish what the Church could not do in 2000 years.

Revelation 7:9-10

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 7:13-15

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Friend, are you among the remnant, or are you part of the crowd? Do you know for certain there is a white robe washed clean of all sin in the blood of the Lamb waiting for you? The only way is to come to Christ. It is the biblical Christ who shed His blood at Calvary so your sins can be washed away. The salvation that the Lamb of God offers is absolutely free. The only requirement is for you to reach out and accept this free gift from God. You must come to Christ for only He is the distributor of His blood. You must ask Him to wash you clean. He never refuses a repentant sinner coming to Him for salvation. It is you dear friend who prevents the application of the blood of Christ to your sin because you refuse to come. Only those who are born again will enter into the coming Kingdom. Friend, Christ will not force Himself on you. It is you who must come of your own free will to Him. Oh, come to Christ, and live.

Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
