An alleged victim is called negligent
Term is ascribed to Law in lawyer's response to suit
By Walter V. Robinson, Globe Staff, 4/29/2002
n his first legal response to charges that the Rev. Paul R. Shanley began molesting a Newton boy when he was 6 years old, Cardinal Bernard F. Law has asserted that ''negligence'' by the boy and his parents contributed to the alleged abuse. The cardinal's claim, filed in court by his attorneys, is boilerplate legal defense language. But a lawyer who is not involved in the case and has handled other cases involving allegations of clergy sex abuse said last night that the decision to use such a claim in so sensitive a case showed poor judgment.
Carmen Durso, a Boston lawyer who represents others who say they are victims of abuse, said he found no legal fault with the language. But for Law to make use of it, Durso said, ''is dumb beyond belief. It is a stupid argument to make when you know that Catholics are already angry at you.''
Added Durso: ''From the start, the archdiocese has been incredibly stupid in the way they have handled this crisis. And as hard as it was to do, they have managed to make things worse.''
Last night, the parents of the boy, who was allegedly abused by Shanley between 1983 and 1989, said they are furious.
''To say my son is legally responsible for his own abuse at the hands of this monster Shanley when my son was only 6 years old is horrific,'' Rodney Ford, the father of Gregory Ford, said in an interview. In the lawsuit, the Fords charge that Law was negligent in overseeing Shanley, who he knew, or should have known, was a danger to children.
It is not stupidity! These fellows would never rise to the positions they've achieved if they were stupid. Arrogant is the word that should be used. When a man believes he is a superman, and has power over sin, then arrogance can rise to levels where stupidity is dismissed as an irrelevant concept compared to the status of such impervious power. It is only when this kind of arrogance is operating that a six year old boy can be blamed for his own rape by a sexually perverted predator. The humbleness that Christ taught His followers is not present among these priests. It was not present among the Jim Bakkers, or the Jimmy Swagarts either. Arrogance is not limited to the Romans. Arrogant religious leaders have many things in common. The remorse of such individuals is only that they got caught, and only lip service is given for those whom they victimized. The only wrongs that they ever admit to are those wrongs which can be excused. It becomes boilerplate language that should not be accounted as a personal indictment?
These fellows are not new to Christianity or religion. It is this kind of leadership that the antichrist will find useful as he takes control of the West. The antichrist in the end will turn on these false shepherds. He will not share his power with any. They will find themselves victims as they victimized others. Their arrogance on that day will be their downfall.
The Kingdom is not for this kind of religious righteousness. The Kingdom is for those who forsake such corrupted systems, and seek true righteousness that is only offered to the meek. All religions, as well as all governments, as well as all peoples will be required to come to Christ in humble repentance for their sin. The systems that produce the arrogance we see in the news today must all go. The Kingdom of heaven will never support such arrogance!
Matt 5:3-12
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

JERUSALEM — Israel has relayed evidence to the European Union that its aid to the Palestinian Authority is being diverted to finance insurgency attacks.
Israeli officials said the government of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has sent captured PA documents on the Palestinian use of EU aid.
Over the last year, the EU has provided more than $70 million to the PA to pay salaries of members of the more than 100,000 Palestinian civil servants. The EU aid has earmarked for paying the salaries of Palestinian police officers, Middle East Newsline reported.
Israeli officials said the Sharon government sent a report to Brussels that details PA use of EU funding. The report asserts that the PA pays 20 percent less to its officers than reported to the EU. The difference is pocketed by the PA.
PA officers are said to earn between $250 and $500 a month, officials said. But their salaries are paid in Israeli currency and based on an exchange rate that amounts to 3.6 shekels to the dollar. The actual conversion rate is close to five shekels per dollar.
The result is that the PA earns $2.5 million a month from the EU aid, which it then uses to fund insurgents, the report said. Officials said a similar report was presented to the United States.
PA officials acknowledged the discrepancy in exchange rates but said the practice is used to maintain a cap on public sector salaries.
In an unrelated development, NATO has rejected the prospect of sending peacekeepers to separate Israeli and Palestinian forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. In an interview with the British Broadcasting Corp., NATO secretary-general George Robertson said there was no point in sending a peacekeeping force without peace in the region. Robertson said NATO has not received a formal proposal to send a peacekeeping mission.
On Tuesday, Israel's Cabinet rejected a United Nations demand to accept an international contingent to investigate the Israeli military capture of the West Bank city of Jenin earlier this month. Israeli officials said UN secretary-general Kofi Annan failed to honor his pledge regarding the terms of reference of the investigation.
Arabs denounce Israel for resisting UNfact-finding mission
CAIRO,Egypt - Arabs expressed outrage at Israel for resisting UN attempts to find out what happened when Israeli troops launched an assault in a Palestinian refugee camps - and at the United Nations' apparent inability to force Israel to comply.
"This is a scandal of international proportions," Ayed al-Mannah, a Kuwaiti political analyst, told The Associated Press today. "How can the United Nations fail to impose international legitimacy on Israel, which owes its existence to a UN resolution?"
Annan tells Security Council he intends to disband Jenin team
By Shlomo Shamir, Ha'aretz Correspondent, Ha'aretz Service and agencies
Unable to win Israel's cooperation, United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan told the Security Council on Wednesday he planned to disband a UN mission to look into what happened in an IDF assault on the Jenin refugee camp.
In a letter to the 15-member body, Annan said he intended to disband it on Thursday. The letter was delivered as the council began deliberations on the matter
Good for Israel! They have stood up against the world for their rights. Soon, a back to the Bible movement in Israel will generate even more defiance from the world. The declaration calling for the Third Jewish Temple, and the establishment of a Jewish Kingdom destined to rule the world will bring worldwide opposition. The present resistance to secular Israel is only a foretaste of what is coming. The world will chose the antichrist over the returning King of the Jews. Opposition will grow to new heights as the world will demand the freedom to sin without restraints. A single Jewish religion will be proclaimed as the only true, and acceptable religion of the God of the Bible to which all the world must submit. A puritanical Judaism based on Biblical righteousness will begin putting pressure on the world. The Kingdom will be offered to all who repent, but judgment to all who resist.
The United Nations and European Union will explode in defiance to such proclamations against freedom of religion. Hate is a mild word as to how the world will react to the Bible as represented by the Jews of this soon coming return. The world might be satisfied to isolate these hated religious fanatics, but they will not be restrained. They will have singleness of mind reminiscent of those old fundamental Puritans of yesteryear. Revivals will break out where the taverns will close not because there was a release of zealot hatchet Annie's, but rather because their patrons due to changed hearts will just stop coming. The world will hate these new converts to Biblical Judaism, and their lives will become as lambs to the slaughter as the world reacts. Apostate Christianity as it exists today will turn on these Bible converts declaring them blasphemers. Christianity will become most opposed to Biblical Judaism. The Christ of Christianity will be false throughout all the great tribulation. The Christ of the denominations, the Charismatics, and even the Baptists of all colors that go into the great tribulation will be as phony as he is today among all of these professing Christians. The truly saved will have been removed at the rapture leaving only the apostates as they appear today.
The hate and opposition of secular Israel is only a foretaste of how the world will react to the soon coming Biblical Judaism!
Ezek 11:19-21
19And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
KJV
Ezek 36:26-29
26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

Bush Spokesman Chides
Arafat

WASHINGTON –– The White House chided Yasser Arafat Thursday for condemning Israel as "terrorists, Nazis and racists" and said it would be better for all sides to focus on peace issues.
The mild reprimand was delivered by spokesman Ari Fleischer in President Bush's behalf. Emerging from Israeli house arrest, and hearing of a skirmish at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Arafat angrily accused Israel of willfully damaging the shrine.
"The president thinks the important step for all... parties is for them to now ask themselves what can they do to bring peace to the region, not what can they do to speak ill of others," Fleischer said when a reporter asked about Arafat's salvo.
Arafat seems intent on shooting himself in the foot. The real test is whether the Palestinians are willing to shoot themselves along with him? All preliminary indications are that they will! The issue is not Arafat. The issue is increasingly pointing to the Palestinians themselves.
The world has decided it will have a secular peace in the Middle East. A peace that will be instituted even if its favorite son Yasser Arafat must go. I suspect the hate of the Palestinians against Israel will never change, and in the end zookeepers under the disguise of peacekeepers will patrol fenced in Palestinian enclaves. The homicidal bombers can't be released again for any kind of peace no matter how phony to work. I know I'm probably wrong, but its the way I feel. I just can't see a forced peace that has any other possibility? The Palestinians are not going to leave. Israel with all its power can't be forced to leave no matter what the world might want in its heart. Peaceful coexistence is out of the question. It can't be done with Arafat, and the world is about to learn it can't be done with the Palestinian people either. The hate is far too ingrained. The entire culture from parental influence, through schooling, into governmental controls, entering their very religious values, including the Arab media would all have to be changed, and even then a new generation would have to come along, This present generation would have to go.
It happened for Israel in the past (40 years in the wilderness), but I doubt it can happen for the Palestinians? The coming change in the hearts of some Jews is promised for this generation. A new Judah will emerge to influence Israel. Another Judah will have the Third Temple under its exclusive control. Conversion will be an act of God, but it is only promised to some Jews. Secular Israel will continue to the very end of the great tribulation. Palestinian hatred for Israel will continue to the end also. Judah and Israel will only be united at the Second Coming of the Jewish Messiah (the Christ). The Palestinian future in Israel seems only to be containment and subjugation in my estimation. The future for the coming Jewish Kingdom will be forced subjugation of the whole world. Maybe it will start with the Palestinians?
Ps 114:2

Isa 11:12-14
12And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
14But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

Jer 3:18-19
18In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
19But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
KJV
Jer 33:14-18
14Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
17For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
KJV
Hos 1:11
11Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Palestinians set fire to Church
In his first public address following his release from Ramallah, Arafat called IDF soldiers surrounding Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity "terrorists, Nazis, and racists." He was reacting to an incident that began when Arab gunmen who have been holding hostages there for four weeks ignited fires in three places inside the church complex last night. Some observers, such as former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, say that it was no coincidence that this occurred precisely at the moment the siege was lifted in Ramallah.

Temple Mount Struggle Continues
Yehuda Etzion, one of the long-time leaders of the campaign to allow Jewish worship on Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount, is under arrest until Sunday. Etzion, who has been tried and acquitted several times of charges relating to his attempts to pray at the site, was detained for not having shown up for his most recent trial against him on charges of this nature. He says that as long as the Moslem Waqf illegally locks the site to Jews, and as long as Waqf personnel are exempt from Israeli law, he too is not willing to be bound to regulations forbidding him from praying there. Etzion was arrested outside the Prime Minister's Office, where he has been holding a protest vigil on this matter for the past two months.
Yehuda Etzion is a real thorn in the side of secular Israel. I'm sure he is motivated by his own pride. What he has going for him is that he is right. The Jews, and not the Moslem Waqf should control the Temple Mount. Politically, this is not the time for such talk. Politically, the time will never be right for such talk. The time is coming when God will demand the Third Jewish Temple be built. The time is coming when God Himself will motivate a true prophet in the likes of another Haggai. The convicting phrase "consider your ways" will again cut to the heart of the Jews. The thorn in the side will become an irresistible mandate from the God of the Bible to build.
Secular Israel is in confusion. They know God has placed this generation of Jews back in the Holy Land. They know a miracle has happened centered around Jerusalem, but they remain blind to the big picture of what God's intent is about. The blindness will be lifted after the born again Christians are moved out of the way. Only then will the clear picture be revealed through the Bible to the next prophets who will follow Malachi and John the Baptist. There must be a Third Jewish Temple for the rest of the Bible to take place. There must be a Temple for the antichrist to cause sacrifice to cease, and to sit on the throne usurping the coming Christ's position as King and God. The Bible says these prophets will be killed, but not until after their testimony has been finished.
The Kingdom is the big picture that the Jews are blind to right now. The Temple Mount and the Third Jewish Temple are critical to the coming Kingdom. The Waqf will go at God's timing. When it happens, the turmoil of the world will be enormous, but nothing will stop God from finishing what He wrote in the Bible.

13Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
14And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Sharon to present Bush the ‘most serious’ peace plan yet
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is to leave tomorrow night for a three-day visit to Washington, where he will present what he said is perhaps the “most serious” plan for Israeli-Palestinian peace yet proposed.
“I’ll be presenting a plan, a serious plan, maybe the most serious that has been presented by now, how to reach peace in the Middle East, how to reach peace between us and the Palestinians,” Sharon said in an interview with ABC’s Nightline TV program.
Although Sharon has not provided details of the plan, it is expected to center around the convening of an international conference, long-term interim agreements, and what he has referred to repeatedly in the past as “painful concessions.”
Sharon is also expected to detail for the US administration his plans to create a buffer zone along much of the West Bank. He acknowledged that the buffer zone – to include fences, ditches, and electronic surveillance devices – would be expensive, and he would seek financial help from the US to build it.
The only end to all this violence has to be peace. However, the kind of peace, and at what price should be asked? This is the most dangerous type of peace presently being proposed. It is a peace without God. A peace without changed hearts. A peace without victory. A peace like that which ended World War I, but only led to the even greater violence of World War II. In the end, Germany had to be crushed before the world could have peace. The combined total victory over Japan with unconditional surrender was the only peace that ever could have ended World War II. How many times must the lesson be taught that without God, and total victory there is no peace? The lesson of Iraq should drive home the point. War should always be the last resort, but once engaged it must be absolute victory, or the lessons of the past will come back to haunt us.
The Holy Land is the one place above all others on planet earth where God must be considered before the world community makes their own plans. Anything contrary to what God is doing is bound to fail! Today, God is preparing the way for the return of Jesus Christ, and His coming Jewish Kingdom. Nothing can stop God! The Arabs can't stop the God of the Bible. The antichrist when he comes won't stop God. All the nations of the world will also be no match when God declares they must bow to His only begotten Son, or be crushed!
This peace without victory filled with painful concessions is only destine to lead to an even greater conflict. God is not caught unprepared by the events soon to transpire as the result of another false secular peace in the Holy Land. Ezekiel 38 & 39 is His prepared response to the Islamic world that would oppose a Jewish Kingdom. Armageddon is His prepared response to the world that will follow Islam shortly thereafter into total defeat as the King of kings sets up His Kingdom.
The End of Islam
Ezek 39:4-5
4Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

Isa 10:20-25
20And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

22For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.

FATAH LEAFLETS ACCUSE RASHID, DAHLAN OF TREASON
Leading Palestinian Authority figures Muhammed Rashid and Muhammed Dahlan have been accused by Fatah militants of "collaboration" with Israel.
A Fatah leaflet distributed in Jenin this week accused Rashid - top economic advisor to PLO chief Yasser Arafat and Dahlan the senior PA security commander in Gaza of conspiring with Israel to replace Arafat and cancel the UN fact-finding mission to Jenin. The Fatah leadership in Jenin called on Arafat to reign in his aides.
An earlier Fatah leaflet distributed in Ramallah on April 25 also warned the "collaborator" Rashid against "leading this corrupt gang that wants to sell our dreams cheaply. We will not let Rashid enjoy the money that he's stolen from our peoples' bank accounts." The leaflet demands that Arafat rein in Rashid "otherwise the people will come and get him."
Similar leaflets in the past preceded the assassination of Fatah figures accused of corrupt or betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
BARGHOUTI ADMITS TO PA INVOLVEMENT IN TERROR
Israeli security sources claim that detained Fatah Tanzim militia leader Marwan Barghouti has begun confessing to directing terrorist attacks against Israelis with the help of PLO chief Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian Authority security services.
Israel's Shin Bet security agency has been interrogating Barghouti since he was captured in Ramallah some two weeks ago. He reportedly has started admitting to his key role in funding and overseeing Fatah terrorist activities and also implicated PLO chief Yasser Arafat in the transfer of funds to Fatah operatives, knowing the money would be used for terrorist activity.
Arafat won’t reform PA
Palestinian Authority Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Nabil Amr resigned over the weekend after PA Chairman Yasser Arafat rejected his demand for major changes in the cabinet and the Palestinian security apparatus.
Amr demanded that a new cabinet be appointed to manage civil affairs in the territories. “After Arafat turned down my proposal, I handed in my resignation and left the meeting at the Mukata in Ramallah,” Amr said.
“Everybody feels that an earthquake has taken place in Palestinian society. So the changes must be equal in size to what happened,” Amr told reporters in Ramallah, referring to the IDF military operation. “I say the change must come from within the Palestinian Authority,” he added.
These are momentous events taking place within the Palestinian Authority. I'm afraid these fellows who sowed the wind helping Arafat to nurture the present Palestinian culture are now about to reap the whirlwind. I only wonder how many sex kittens if any they will get in Paradise when their dead bodies turn up? This culture now sown into the very hearts of their children shows no mercy for even the slightest bit of compromise. There is no greater sin then to have any other attitude toward a Jew then to kill him or her. Collaboration with Israel carries the death penalty. No trial, no mercy, just summery execution, and then party time. There are no moderate Palestinians only dead ones.
It is hard to feel sorry for these poor fellows. The very people whom they victimized are now turning on them. Soon, Arafat will be just like Hitler. Convinced that the Palestinians were just not good enough for his visions of grandeur when he finds himself all alone, and the Palestinian people crushed. Everyone loses in the end when sin is allowed to reach the magnitudes that it has within Palestinian culture. This is not a good generation into which to be a Palestinian!
Ex 34:10

Visiting congressmen advise Israel to resist US administration pressure
A visiting delegation of US congressmen believes that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon should rebuff attempts by the Bush administration for him to deal with Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat.
“Yasser Arafat is a terrorist. He is a leader of the terrorists. As a matter of fact he is a motivator of terrorism,” said Jim Saxton (R-NJ). “If I were in [Sharon’s] position, I would find someone else to talk to.”
Another member of the bipartisan team, Joe Hoeffel (D-PA) said America needed to seek another leader of the Palestinian people.

Livnat Tell Saudis to Decide, Peace or War
(IsraelNN.com) Speaking in a Washington press conference, Minster of Education Limor Livnat stated Saudi Arabia must decide if it is for peace or war with Israel.
Livnat was referring to the report being delivered to US President George W. Bush by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, documenting Saudi Arabia paid families of suicide bombers for the sacrifice made by the terrorists against Israel. The documents were uncovered by soldiers during Operation Defensive Shield.
Sharon Pushing No-Arafat Line
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who arrived in Washington last night, will begin his meetings with a talk today with U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and an appearance at a gathering of the AIPAC pro-Israel lobby. Sharon will meet with President George Bush tomorrow, and will attempt to persuade him that Arafat has no place in the future of the Middle East. The Prime Minister seems to have an ally in National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, who said yesterday that the "current direction of the Palestinians" under Arafat's leadership does not allow for the establishment of a Palestinian state. On the other hand, Secretary of State Colin Powell said last night that it is "clear to the Administration that something has to be done" with the settlements in Judea and Samaria, and that this matter will be raised with Prime Minister Sharon.
Education Minister Limor Livnat, who is accompanying Prime Minister Sharon in Washington, will present to her American hosts today an Israeli Intelligence report showing Saudi Arabian support for Hamas and other suicide terrorist elements. The report is based on documents found by Israeli forces during Operation Defensive Shield. Bush hosted Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah in his Texas ranch two weeks ago, and it is widely assumed that the "peace plan" Bush will propose to Sharon is based on Saudi ideas.
A European Union spokesman said today that the EU is relating "with the utmost gravity" to Israeli accusations and documentation that Arafat used European donations for terrorist purposes.
Any peace plan based on a Palestinian State is absolutely wrong from a Biblical perspective. Attempting to appease the Palestinians for their releasing of those beastly animals who's vicious behavior they glorify is absolutely wrong from a moral perspective. We just as well glorify the homosexual pedophile priests of the Catholic Church as reward Palestinian culture as it presently exists. When a culture degrades to such animalistic behavior so thoroughly documented, it is not time to talk peace or peacekeepers, but rather time to talk about caging the wild animals and providing zookeepers!
The deceitfully subtle Saudis are the worst in my opinion. I only envision what God has to say about the end of Babylon in Revelation as indicative of how true righteousness views their behavior. The Saudi sheiks also well documented for their personal immorality buy their way into respectability. They see themselves as the masters of manipulative bargaining. They use the poor only for their advantage. They pay the beastly animals to terrorize the Jews while they sit in the lap of luxury on their thrones of vanity. They keep themselves removed from the violence while they are truly the backer/motivators of the violence. They hold up hands full of money to the gullible world, but God sees the blood of innocent Jews that covers them.
The coming Kingdom will set straight the corruption money has bought. Dispensational change is what the Bible says is in the news these days. It is starting with Israel!
How does the world react to God forcing His will on all governments, and all religions? What will be the eternal cry from those being tormented forever and ever?
"And men blasphemed God"
Rev 14:8-11
8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
KJV
Rev 16:19-21
19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

ARAFAT DRAGS OUT TALKS ON BETHLEHEM STANDOFF
Reports of an imminent breakthrough in the standoff at Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity on Monday were premature, as PLO chief Yasser Arafat withheld his approval of an agreement over how to deal with some 40 Palestinian gunmen holed up in the landmark Christian shrine. ...
Only a few blocks away from Manger Square, IDF soldiers on Saturday investigated an explosion in a house and discovered a bomb factory in an apartment used as a clinic. Among the finds were a bomb ready for use, components for making explosive devices and inflammatory documents.
On Sunday, the IDF withdrew two tanks from Manger Square, and a wanted Hamas gunman surrendered to soldiers after being holed up in the Church. Israeli forces also searched the home of one of the Palestinian negotiators, Salah Ta'amri, and found a stockpile of weapons, large amounts of ammunition, IDF uniforms and gas masks.
In related news, the Jerusalem Post on Sunday cited two unidentified Bethlehem clerics as saying fellow Christian clergy taking part in the behind-the-scenes negotiations have been involved in a cover-up of what is really happening inside the Church.
One claimed, "It is not true that all clergymen are staying in the church of their own free will and that everyone inside is getting along... the Christians... don't dare to speak up. They are cowards."
A second Bethlehem priest quoted by the Post said, "We [Christians] are a small minority with little rights left, so it's obvious you have to be cautious with what you say. But I would have preferred silence rather than saying that everything is okay. We are worse than cowards, we are lying."
Local Catholic clergy have been the strongest in defending the Palestinian gunmen, insisting they were "welcomed" into the Church and those churchmen who remain inside are there voluntarily based on a tradition not to abandon a holy site.
But several clerics and Palestinians youths who have managed to get out have said the gunmen have been threatening those inside at gunpoint and were vandalizing church property. CNN reported today that one Palestinian source confirmed extensive damage has been done to the interior of the historic church.
Know that these Christian clergy that welcome the terrorists are professing Christians, and not saved possessing Christians. They hate the Jews so much that they willingly excuse the destruction done to the Church by these Arabs as a reasonable response against the occupying Jews. Blame the Jews is all they care to know. It was these kinds of professing Christians who burned the Jews alive in their Synagogues during the crusades, and sided with the Nazis in more recent history. They are still around. Hangovers from a bygone era that still have power and influence within the Roman Catholic system. The Pope echoes their sentiments when he called, and encouraged them by phone just last week. Their false theology can't bare a literal Israel in control of the Holy Land. They have taught for generations that everywhere the Bible teaches future blessings for Israel that it really is saying those future blessings are for the Roman Catholic Church. It is plain and simple usurping of those clear teachings. It becomes very difficult to say God is going to bless Rome in the last days when the Bible says Israel, and a literal Israel is clearly gaining more and more control of the Holy Land. Rome has always thought it would control Jerusalem in the end when Christ returns. The Jews in control can only raise the anger of those who put their Catholicism before the Biblical Christ!
It should be no wonder that God is putting the birth place of His Only Begotten Son so prominently in the news today. The Church of Nativity has revealed the Palestinian culture for what it really is as a force of death and destruction. The Church of Nativity also reveals the truth of how great is the hatred of the Jews by many of the Roman Catholic clergy.
The issue is to whom will God focus His attention when the Kingdom is established? Will it be those who teach Covenant Theology like the Romans, and usurp all the future glory promised to Jerusalem and the Jews? Or, will it be literally the ones that the Bible says it will be? Today's news says the Jews are miraculously back after almost 2000 years. The same Jews who were told the Kingdom is at hand when Christ came the first time have returned for His second coming. Today's news seems to favor the Jews!
Isa 65:18-66:1
18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Isa 2:2-5
2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Dear Friend of Israel:
Yom Yerushalayim Sameach!
Happy Jerusalem Day!Thirty-five years ago, a day after the Israel Independence Day parade in 1967, Egypt put itself on a war footing. Syria promised to support its ally. Egyptian forces then closed the Strait of Tiran, blocking the country's access to the Red Sea.
The country realized it was in a fight for its life. Hostile enemies on all of our borders were closing in. Leaders of Arab governments were calling for the state's destruction.
In a lightning-fast but brutal six days the Israeli Defense Forces swept out the invaders and expanded the country's boundaries. Central to the battles was the fight to reunify Jerusalem under Israeli and Jewish rule. The 19-year-old stake through the heart of the city that kept Jews from the Old City and the Western Wall was quickly torn down, and a joyous reunification occurred.
Jerusalem Day muted this year
After more than 18 months of violence, during which Jerusalem has served as the epicenter of Palestinian terror attacks, the city is just starting to recover and shake itself free from a wave of terror unprecedented since 1967. ...
Jerusalem suffers from more than just terror attacks and muted consumerism. Approximately 17,500 residents moved away last year, compared to 17,100 the previous year. The city's population is 660,000, 32% of whom are Arabs. ...
The number of residents who moved away last year was virtually unchanged compared to 2000, even though more people left the city than moved into it for the 14th consecutive year.
Israeli governments have long talked of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, but have done everything to weaken it, Olmert charged in a recent interview with The Jerusalem Post. He cited incentives offered to young couples to settle in MaÕaleh Adumim or Modi'in, compared to those buying apartments in outlying Jerusalem neighborhoods like Pisgat Ze'ev or Neveh Ya'acov.
Instead of encouraging young people to stay in the city, the government, by offering them incentives to buy outside of the city, did everything to encourage them to leave, he said.
Isa 8:13-15
13Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Suicide Bomber Strikes Near Tel Aviv as Sharon Met With Bush
May 7 — A suicide bomber struck a pool hall in Israel today, killing at least 16 people, at the same time that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon met with President Bush in Washington.
Sharon, who was expected to stay and meet with other U.S. officials over the next several days, cut short his visit after word of the bombing. "Israel will not surrender to blackmail," Sharon told reporters before leaving Washington. "He who rises up to kill us, we will pre-empt it and kill him first."
The attack came in the town of Rishon Letzion, a suburb 10 miles south of Tel Aviv, when a person set off explosives filled with nails, police said. At least 60 people were injured and many teenagers are believed to be among the casualties.
The Islamic militant group Hamas claimed responsibility. A Hamas leader in Gaza told ABCNEWS the bombing was a message to Israelis that the Palestinian will to resist has not been broken.
The attack was the first suicide bombing in Israel in three weeks. It was the first since Israel began "Operation Defensive Shield" — a series of incursions into Palestinian territories designed to prevent terror attacks.
U.N. Assembly chastises Israel 74-4
By William M. Reilly

UNITED NATIONS, May 7 (UPI) -- With 54 nations abstaining as a protest over what they called an imbalanced resolution, the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday condemned by 74-4 vote Israel's West Bank offensive.
The resolution also criticized Israel's failure to cooperate with Secretary-General Kofi Annan's Jenin refugee camp fact-finding team and calls for his own report on Jenin.
It will end when a new leadership faction in Israel separates itself from the world, and unto God. It will end when Jews begin returning to the God of the Bible. It will end when events described in Ezekiel 38 & 39 turn the eyes of the world from Islam, and onto the God of the Bible! It will end when a remnant out of Israel begins to build the Biblical Third Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. It will end when the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob establishes His Kingdom! The Bible says change will happen to these stiff-necked Jews through great tribulation, but it will happen! A new heart of humility, love, and compassion for a world lost in sin, and without the true God of the Bible. Yet, a new heart set like flint to accomplish God's future plan for this world through the coming Jewish Kingdom.
God has a plan that has nothing to do with freedom, democracy, or human rights. It has everything to do with His determined plan as revealed in the Bible backed by His irresistible power. Even Israel has no say in what God is doing with them in the Holy Land. It matters not that the nations of the world will resist to the death God's plan for the future of mankind. The final victory will be God's.
The coming Kingdom means judgment on sin. All who refuse the forgiveness offered by the Lord Jesus Christ will find the wrath of the lamb as their just punishment. Islamic, Jew, apostate Christian are all without rights! They are criminals condemned already! There is no greater sin then to walk away from the sacrificially shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. God has declared this human right will bring only eternal condemnation without reprieve.
Palestinian rights become meaningless when God works His plan in the Holy Land. Islamic rights become of no account. Religious rights of any color, or any rights whatsoever become nothing when God the creator demands His rights! Mercy to lost sinners is a wondrous thing, but mercy rejected is without excuse!
"Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done!"
Deut 9:27-29
27Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

John 3:18, 19

John 3:33-36
33He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
34For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

Anti-Semitism on the rise in Muslim world, report finds
NEW YORK – Anti-Semitism in newspapers and on TV in the Muslim world is increasing in content and virulence, according to a study released this week by the American Jewish Committee.
“Muslim Anti-Semitism: A Clear and Present Danger,” authored by Hebrew University professor Robert Wistrich, details the anti-Jewish and anti-Israel rhetoric that has seeped into the Arab and Muslim press and outlines the effect such institutionalized hatred could have on prospects for peace in the region.
With sections on conspiracy theories, Islamic fascism, anti-Semitic falsehoods, Holocaust denial, refusal to accept Israel’s existence, and the history of Muslim-Jewish relations, the study looks at the allegation that Jews use the blood of non-Jews to make Passover matza and Purim pastries; the widespread popularity of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion; and the charge that the Israeli government and the Mossad were responsible for the September 11 attacks in the US.
The study, which includes a selection of cartoons from the Arab press that shows Prime Minister Ariel Sharon gleefully eating Palestinian children in the Palestinian Al-Quds daily, and an Israeli soldier presenting his mother with a bottle of Palestinian blood in the Jordanian paper Al-Dustour, also looks at Western media’s reluctance to report on Muslim anti-Semitism

MK Steinitz warns of possible regional war
Iraq and Iran may initiate a partial or full-scale war against Israel in the coming months to torpedo an anticipated US attack on Baghdad, according to MK Yuval Steinitz, chairman of the Knesset subcommittee for defense planning and policy.
Thirty five years and waiting. That is how long Israel was given the opportunity to build the Third Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, but has procrastinated. Another five years, and an entire generation will have passed by this responsibility. There is only one purpose for which God has brought the Jews back to the Promised Land. That is to bring in the next Biblical dispensation of the Kingdom. The Jewish Temple has, and always will be center to any Jewish Kingdom. Nothing can happen until the next Temple is built. Everything happening in the Middle East that has put it in the headlines throughout the entire world is aimed at the next step Israel must take. The world knows it is coming! That is the declaration that they are going to build the Temple!
The world is ready to turn itself upside-down when the announcement comes. The Islamic world more then all others is sworn to stop Israel at all costs. According to Ezekiel 38 & 39 the cost will be the utter destruction of Islam on the mountains and fields in the land of Israel. Iran and Iraq are specifically mentioned by their historic title of Old Persia. They will be the great Eastern arm of a three pronged Islamic invasion of Israel. The concerns of a war possibly only months away has great Biblical implications. There can be no doubt the hatred of Islam against the Jew is monstrous. The holocaust would be child's play were Islam ever to inflict its desires on Israel. It is the hate that God will judge, and on that basis destroy Islam forever. After Ezekiel 39 Islam will go the way of all the other great powers of the past that allowed hate to rule their cultures. The most recent example is the Third Reich Nazis under Hitler. History is about to be repeated once again. This time it will be Islam that will go to the dung heap!
It will not be long thereafter that the entire world will follow Islam to the same dung heap as it rejects the coming Jewish Kingdom of the returning Lord Jesus Christ! Jerusalem is where Christ ascended up to heaven, and Jerusalem is where the Bible says Christ will return!
Acts 1:9-12

3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

It is 6:20 AM, and this has been going on all night! It is not planed or organized. The crowds of Jews just keep coming. They are responding to something from their hearts. It has to do with Yom Yerushalem (Jerusalem Day). These crowds are just unprecedented. The hearts of Jews are responding to 35 years of neglect. The tribulations of the day has brought about this heart attitude. The Temple Mount is on the other side of the Wailing Wall. It now seems so possible that were a true prophet (or two) of God to come calling for the building of the Third Jewish Temple that this generation would be up to the task.

SADDAM MAY HAVE NUKE
Turkey's intelligence service believes the regime of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein has successfully produced a nuclear device.
The assessment was reported this week by Geostrategy-Direct, which cited a Turkish military officer. The report adds that US intelligence officials say the new intelligence was obtained in early March and adds to a growing body of intelligence on Saddam's efforts to produce nuclear arms.
No details of the type of nuclear weapon were disclosed, but Iraq is believed to be developing a uranium-fueled nuclear device. A senior defense official said the threat from Saddam's chemical, biological and nuclear programs continues to grow, and the most worrying is his "energetic nuclear weapons program."
According to an Iraqi nuclear engineer who defected in 1996, Iraq switched from a plutonium-based nuclear arms program to one based on enriched uranium, which can produced from natural uranium mined in Iraq. Iraq has some 400 locations - many based in schools, mosques, hospitals and warehouses - where it producing nuclear weapons and related material, making
UN inspections in a search for those programs nearly impossible.
US Secretary of State Colin Powell said on May 5 that Saddam is "working feverishly" on nuclear weapons but had not made any recent breakthroughs in his weapons program.
Last week, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said progress had been made in resuming weapons inspection in Iraq. But Baghdad wants the inspections linked to an end to US efforts to topple Saddam and Allied patrols of "no-fly" zones.
Reports such as this are always questionable, but time often proves there is truth behind the scenes. All the recent activity by the Bush administration dealing with an invasion of Iraq causes me to think they know something that has not gone public yet? Should it be true that Saddam has the Islamic bomb, who would doubt he would long restrain from using it to mass murder Jews? The Middle East has now become as hot as what the world experienced when Hitler came on the scene. A crises is upon us of world wide scope. This time it is the Holy Land at the center. This time God will act by bringing in the next dispensation of the Kingdom.
The super weapons of the last war brought great fear upon the world accelerating the efforts to crush the nazis before they could be developed. Today, technology has caught up with the world. Now, the most insane of despots sitting on a throne in the middle of the desert can bring the world to its knees. The control is gone. The technology has been released with the computer age. It is time for God to act, and act He will.
God is never taken by surprise as human history unfolds. Wise men see God in absolute control. The Bible reveals clearly what God is doing. The next Biblical event is a dispensational change. The Old Testament from Genesis 12 forward reveals how God controlled all things through His dealings with Israel. The pyramid building Egyptians thought they were in control. The Pagan Assyrians thought it was them. Then came the Babylonians, Persians, Medes, Greeks, and Romans. They are all gone now, but the Jew remains. Nothing caught God by surprise! The dispensation ended with the coming of Christ and the New Testament when God shifted His control of the world on behalf of the Christian Church. God never abandoned the Jews as a people though they are blind today. Individual Jews were drawn to Christ, but blindness characterized this present dispensation for the Jew. It is all about to change again! It is going to change with the Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming to a Jewish Kingdom that will control the world throughout the next dispensation from Jerusalem and the Temple Mount! He is coming at a time when the Bible says knowledge shall be increased! The age of technology has come; The computer age is here! The time of the end is upon us!
Dan 12:1-4
12:1And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Several batteries of Iran's U.S.-made improved Hawk missiles, known as I-Hawks, were added to defenses ringing Iran's Bushehr nuclear facility and were photographed late last month by a U.S. spy satellite. Iran has about 150 I-Hawks.
The Bushehr nuclear power plant is located 10 miles south of the city of Bushehr and has been under construction since the 1970s. Russia has been the main supplier of the equipment for the two reactors.
CIA nonproliferation officials have told Congress that Iran is actively pursuing the acquisition of fissile material and the expertise and technology necessary to form the material into nuclear weapons. The weapons are based on both plutonium and highly enriched uranium nuclear arms, according to the agency.

Likud Expected To Nix PLO State
The Likud Central Committee will convene on Sunday in Tel Aviv, and polls show strong support for a resolution negating the establishment of any form of a Palestinian state. A decision of this nature will be a strong blow to Prime Minister Sharon, who has come out in favor several times of a restricted PA state. Sharon has hinted that the Likud decision would not greatly affect his policies. Minister Danny Naveh, however, speaking with Arutz-7 earlier this week, said that Sharon would have "trouble" ignoring such a decision.
The world has decided a Palestinian State in the middle of Israel is the only path to peace. The Bush administration has assumed a Palestinian State is a done deal. It seems Israel does not see things in the same way. The assumption was Israel would give the Palestinians Land, and a State for just a hand shake? Israel seems to understand the Palestinians are not to be trusted. Israel is not as foolish as the world thinks it should be. A popular song in Israel has Arafat singing "give me all your land, and I will shake your hand." Arafat is looking for fools to shake his hand while he gives nothing, but rhetoric in return. He has found many fools among the world leaders. Peace talk is cheap when the Palestinians are not living in your house.
I'm sure in time the world is going to realize Sharon is no fool. I think he knew all along the Likud would never agree to a Palestinian State. It was not out of hate, but wisdom that he played the game. He suggested such a State to appease the world much as Arafat does when he claims he is reigning in terror. All know Arafat's hate is far too great to do anything other then lie where Israel is concerned. It seems Sharon was wisely shaking hands with world leaders while knowing there would be no land for the Palestinians!
I don't know if world pressure will overpower Israeli resistance, but I do know a Palestinian State in the middle of Israel is wrong! It is wrong most importantly from a Biblical perspective. God has no intention of sharing His Kingdom with the heathen. They must go, or convert. There is no other plan. Biblical Judaism is all God will tolerate in the Holy Land when the Kingdom comes. All must submit to Christ the King including Sharon if he wants to stay.
Ps 10:16
16The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
KJV
Ezek 28:25-26
25Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
KJV
Ps 2:8-9
8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
KJV
Ps 9:19-20
19Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
20Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
KJV
Ps 18:43-46
43Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
44As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
45The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
KJV
Ps 33:10
10The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

Rev 22:18-19
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

BILL BRIGHT’S ‘BEYOND ALL LIMITS’ CONFERENCE, ‘GLOBAL PASTORS NETWORK’, ‘SYNERGISTIC CHURCH’—Dennis Costella has a good firsthand report of the Beyond All Limits pastor’s conference which convened in Orlando, Jan. 17-19 (Foundation). Campus Crusade’s Bill Bright had the vision for this. The purpose was twofold: first, to minister to the 5,000 pastors assembled at First Baptist Church and second, to launch a new Internet program for training pastors for the new millennium, the Global Pastors Network. The ambitious plan to network (join together in common fellowship, ministry and purpose) and instruct virtually every Christian worker in the world by way of the Internet and satellite technology in the decade ahead was impressive. The proposed global synergistic church model, an ecumenically-styled network of churches and ministries where doctrinal issues are set aside and all who say they love Jesus will join together to reach the world for Christ. Many messages were helpful and Biblically-based. Speakers included Drs. Falwell, Stowell, Smalley, Warren, Trask, and Merritt. Charismatics were well represented by Hayford, and PK’s Bill McCartney who stressed the need for no divisions to exist between all Christians. The above speakers and the following other ministries are part of 200 already committed to the GPN. Kay Arthur, Henry Blackaby, Bill Bright, Chuck Colson, Jim Cymbala, James Dobson, John Hagee, David Jeremiah, John Kilpatrick, Erwin Lutzer, Chuck Swindoll, and Bruce Wilkinson. A conference leader said: In the future, those [pastors] who are not networking will not be working.
While God is preparing the Jews and Israel for the coming Kingdom, the apostate Christian Church is preparing also. The whole purpose for which God gave us the Bible is so that doctrine would be fixed. Once written it would stand forever as an unchangeable testimony of who God is, and what He expects from man. Doctrine separates by design. Any who would drift from absolute truth would be corrected once the Bible was examined. In order for the unity of "Beyond All Limits" to work, Bible doctrine must be abandoned. That is exactly what they boldly say: "doctrinal issues are set aside!" When they set aside the doctrine that separates, they abandon the Bible. There is no single verse, or group of verses that can be separated from the Bible (even "for love of Jesus").
