Campaign to Upgrade the Old City's 'Small Wall'

(IsraelNN.com) Unknown to most visitors to the Western Wall, the remnant of the Holy Temple compound extends to the north far beyond what they can see - and a campaign is underway to publicize this.

The Western Wall is a supporting wall of the Temple Mount complex, on which the two Holy Temples were built approximately 2,850 and 2,350 years ago, respectively. Though it is technically outside the Temple area, it has special sanctity; the rabbinic Sages taught that the Divine Presence would never leave the Western Wall.

Of the nearly 500 meters of length of the Western Wall, roughly 200 meters of the southern end [to the right of the worshipers] are easily accessible today - but the remainder is just as sacred. Another 100 meters or so are included in a tour of the Western Wall Tunnels. Above these tunnels, near the Iron Gate entrance to the Temple Mount and on Temple Mount floor level, is an open area facing a short segment of the Wall. This is the area known as the Kotel HaKatan.

One Would Not Know It
Though it is off the beaten track, the Kotel HaKatan is actually slightly more holy than the familiar Western Wall plaza, because of its closer proximity to the Holy of Holies of the ancient Temples.  However, one would not know this upon visiting it - for it is hard to get to, has no trappings of a holy site, and is not even protected 24 hours a day.

An ad-hoc committee named Kotleinu, "Our Wall," is working to promote and improve conditions at the Kotel HaKatan. The committee comprises mostly residents of the Old City of Jerusalem who are concerned that the area is not treated with the respect it deserves.

The group says that of late, for the first time ever, the Tourism Ministry department in charge of Holy Sites has committed to upkeep the Kotel HaKatan. Deputy Director-General Rafi Ben-Hur acknowledged that the Ministry is responsible for the area, but said that special budgeting must be obtained before this responsibility can be actualized.

Despite this, some recent improvements at the site include a police presence during daylight hours, a security camera monitoring the area and the access road, municipality-provided street-sweeping - and even a sign that says "Do not litter."

"A no-littering sign is an improvement," an active Kotleinu member told Arutz-7, "but what we really want is a sign saying that this is a holy site and that it should be treated appropriately."

Prayer Services and Arab Bicycles
Yeshivat HaKotel maintains a daily afternoon prayer service there, and other groups and yeshivot also pray there on Shabbatot. This, despite the fact that there are no chairs or prayer stands at the site; even prayer-books cannot be stored there, as there is no security at night. Sometimes, Arab children pass through there with their bicycles, or Arab women with their shopping bags - reminiscent of the scene of the "regular" Western Wall up until several decades ago.

"If the Ministry sees that tourists from both in and out of Israel frequent the place and are interested in it," Kotleinu feels, "this will provide an incentive to upgrade it. This is why we have started a letter-writing campaign to this effect."

Kotleinu asks concerned citizens and tourists to join the campaign for improving Kotel HaKatan conditions by visiting the Small Wall and by writing to or faxing (02-6496157) Tourism Minister Yitzchak Aharonovitch. A recommended sample letter can be seen here.

I have been teaching for years that the Western Wall must go! I have no problem, and actually support the Jewish effort to expand the Western Wall Plaza to include all of the Wall. However, I know that the day is coming when Biblical Judaism will be re-established in Israel, and that the Jews themselves will tear down that shrine to blindness. It is that wall that separates the Jews from their Temple Mount. It is to that Wall that they pray. A line can be seen where their foreheads touch the Wall as they literally beat their heads against the Wall trying to reach God. It is a tragedy that modern Judaism has so blinded the Jews of this generation that the closest they can get to God is a wall! A Wall that stands between them, and the dwelling place of their God. It has only been since 1967 that the Wall was taken from the Jordanians in battle. This June will mark the 40th birthday since the Wall had been freed. Already the barbarian Arabs are claiming ownership. They say Mohamed tied his magical flying horse to this wall when he made his journey to Paradise. This is all the barbarians need to claim it for themselves. I would suspect Mohamed took part in all that perverted sex going on while there in Paradise? In any case the Arabs want the Jews to give them the Wailing Wall as an Islamic Holy Site. Who knows but Olmert just might do such a thing for peace that never was, certainly is not today, and never will be. I know Olmert will give the Arab barbarians full sovereignty over the Temple Mount. It will probably be packaged with the Jerusalem give away. The one thing Olmert will never do is call upon the Jewish people to build God's House on the Temple Mount!

The day is soon coming when God is going to seal 144,000 Jews. They will know Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. They will be redeemed after the Church Age ends. I believe the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 who never leave the city of Jerusalem will call upon the Jews to build the House of God. The excuse that the time is not come will not wash with these firstfruits of the next dispensation. They will warn the Jews to consider your ways. It has been too long since 1967. They will tell the Jews the time has come, and it is now!

Haggai 1:2-5

2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord's house should be built.

3 Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

I believe the 144,000 will respond to the Two Witnesses, and together they will build Ezekiel's Temple (Ezekiel 40 - 48). I know the project will be done in a short 3-1/2 years. An absolutely perfect Temple will be built, and absolutely perfect Old Testament worship including acceptable sacrifice will be offered to God. The uniqueness of this last Holy Jewish Temple will be that it will have a throne.

Ezekiel 43:7

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

The other unique aspect of this Temple will be that the blood sacrifice offered to God will only be acceptable as a remembrance of Calvary. Ezekiel's Temple will have an altar, and sacrifice will be given! The Jews who will be the foundation for this next dispensation will all have been washed in the blood of the Lamb.

This last Temple will have to be the holiest of all. Purity will find new heights of expression. The holy standards will be the highest men have ever known. The word puritanical will take on the fullness of meaning when applied to Ezekiel's Temple. I believe the Temple Mount will be bulldozed clean of all the filth of the millenniums. I do not think it is going too far to imagine the ranks of the 144,000 Jews scrubbing down the very bedrock before construction begins. The wailing Wall that stood since 1967 as an example of Jewish blindness blocking their entrance to the Temple will go! A new foundation will be laid fit for the centerpiece of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. It will be the place where the soles of His feet will rest as He sits on His throne. Oh how pure it must be. Not spot or blemish will be allowed to come in contact with our Holy Christ.

Friend, He shed His blood at Calvary so you can be saved. That sacrifice will always be presented before men throughout eternity. Christ did His part of salvation, and now offers His miraculous sin cleansing blood to you freely. Will you accept His gift of grace? Will you come to Him in humble repentance, and ask Him to save you? The choice is yours alone. Won't you come?

The Russian military trained Egyptian who took the semi-retired Bin Laden's place is now most probably dead at the hands of his fellow Islamic barbarians. Someone worse then him will certainly take his place as the working head of Al Qaeda. The Russian connection should be noted. Bin Laden rose to power fighting the Russians in Afghanistan. Today, it is the Russians who are the mentors of the Al Qaeda leadership. Russia is also the author of the Road Map. They sold it to the Europeans who share the same anti-Semitic feelings, and then almost fell over with joy when the Evangelical Bush White House adopted it as their plan for peace in the Holy Land. I still remember that Colin Powell was ready to make the announcement of adoption, but the news events of the day (9/11) put it on the back burner. Later, Bush was under great criticism for going it alone in Iraq. The official announcement of US support of the Russian Road Map came right after the great one-sided victory over Saddam's military. It was a good political move that did smooth ruffled feathers, but God was not pleased at all that the Evangelicals would silently back a plan giving away most of the Holy Land to the barbarians. The great Iraq victory quickly deteriorated into the IED war of attrition for which the feather bedded liberal Americans are not willing to fight. They are falling over each other proposing tribute to the barbarians as their peace plan.

Everything happening in the world today is heading toward an Islamic invasion of Israel. The Russian connection is clearly growing. All who have any understanding of the Bible are familiar with the Gog! John Whitcomb wrote a very popular Christian book years ago titled "The Coming War with Russia" where he detailed the prophecy concerning the Gog, and the coming invasion of Israel. History has progressed since then, and a better title today would be "The Coming Islamic Invasion of Israel." The Gog will be there, but represented by their "Chief Prince" not the masses of Russians whom God is holding back as the King of the North who will be a major player at Armageddon. Ezekiel 38 & 39 describes such a horrific defeat of the invaders apart from Armageddon that they could never rise to power again. Ezekiel 38 & 39 is not the coming war with Russia, but the coming Islamic invasion of Israel.

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

The chief prince of Meshech and Tubal is the Islamic brotherhood of the old USSR, and the Islamic hordes still part of the Russian State. The trained Islamic barbarians put in leadership rolls among the Islamic terrorists. All can be counted among the chief prince of the Gog who will die upon the mountains of Israel. The chirf prince is only part of the Northern prong of a 3 pronged Islamic invasion. Turkey joins the chief prince as they flow over the Cacusus Mountains on their way to Israel. Iran as ancient Persia, and possibly an Iranian controlled Iraq if the Democrats get their way will be the Eastern prong of the Islamic attack. Finally. Islamic North Africa as Put (Libya) and Cush (Ethiopia) will invade from the South.

Ezekiel 39 is one of the most horrific descriptions of slaughter ever put from pen to paper. I believe this will be the end of Islamic influence over the Holy Land. I believe Ezekiel 39 opens the door for a new Biblical Judaism to lay a foundation in Israel in preparation for the next Kingdom Age dispensation. The last Holy Jewish Temple will be built on the Temple Mount after Ezekiel 39 takes place. I believe Ezekiel 38 & 39 take place after the rapture. At the beginning of the Great Tribulation. At the moment of dispensational change. The sealed Jews of Revelation 7 and 14 join the Two Jewish Witnesses of Revelation 11 in Jerusalem, and in 3-1/2 years build and establish acceptable worship in Ezekiel's Temple (Ezekiel 40-48).

Friend, are you ready? Have you come to the Biblical Christ who died in your place at Calvary. Ezekiel's Temple will be dedicated to this Christ. Blood sacrifice will be offered daily throughout the Millennial Kingdom in remembrance of Calvary when Christ offered Himself as the only effective atonement for sin. The free gift of salvation from sin is offered to you, but you must come to Christ to receive it. Friend, won't you come to Christ, and live?

Beleaguered Olmert Seeks Refuge, Plans to Uproot Yesha Outposts

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has asked Defense Minister Amir Peretz - both of whom are under heavy pressure to resign - to prepare an organized plan to destroy small Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

News of Olmert's request was included in a State response submitted to the Supreme Court Tuesday regarding an appeal from last year. The suit in question, submitted by Peace Now and a group of Arabs, charges that the town of Migron is illegal and must be destroyed.

Olmert has asked that the plan to destroy Jewish homes be ready within two months. He has thus apparently changed his policy regarding the destruction of unauthorized outposts. In the past, he has frozen plans to do so, explaining that the timing was not right in light of the diplomatic situation with the Palestinian Authority.

Migron: Strategically Situated
Situated atop a strategic hill, 6 miles north of Jerusalem, between Beit El, Psagot, and Michmash, Migron is included in Olmert's demolition request. Peace Now, the radical left-wing organization dedicated to destroying the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria [Yesha], claims that most of land on which Migron was built belongs to Arabs.

Migron residents, however, say Peace Now worked hard to find the Arabs in question and convinced them to file the suit against the Jewish town.

Peace Now and Israel's Enemies
Binyamin Regional Council head Pinchas Wallerstein said that Peace Now worked together with Defense Minister Amir Peretz for their common political goals. Peretz says that the government no longer needs time to negotiate a compromise with the Migron residents. Wallerstein, who built Migron, said, "Peretz apparently feels that the main thing is his bid to win his party's primaries [later this month] - even if it means that several dozen more families will be thrown out of their homes.... He was advised to call off talks with us, because it would not look good for his primaries campaign if he comes to an agreement with us. It's very sad to see a man who puts his own personal interests ahead of those of the nation."

Wallerstein explained Migron's critical strategic importance in that it overlooks the highway leading to many Jewish towns in the Shomron: "A few years ago, former Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer [of Labor] agreed that this place must remain [settled by Jews]. Very sadly, Peace Now reminds me of other dark times in Jewish history when Jews would join up with their enemies against their own people..."

Even ex-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon declared that Migron was strategically vital, Wallerstein said: "He told us, the members of the Yesha Council, that he had informed the Americans that he insists that this place and three other outposts must remain, despite other previous commitments that might have been."

"In this spirit," Wallerstein continued, "the Defense Minister agreed that Migron would not be removed, and all Central Commanders since then have also demanded that this location remain as is. Furthermore, many different government offices have helped Migron with infrastructures, and it was even decided in the Defense Ministry to begin with planning the permanent community."

Wallerstein said that Peace Now has other court suits coming up against the town of Haresha, 11 miles northwest of Jerusalem, and against a neighborhood in Eli, 18 miles north of the capital.

Modern-Day Zionism
One resident of Migron, Aviva W., told Arutz-7, "When we arrived here, it was clear that the land had no claimants and no one working on it... We are a continuation of the Zionist enterprise and the Zionist dream - just like all the pioneers who came to the Land of Israel over the centuries, starting with the students of the Gaon of Vilna [early 19th century], and later the First Aliyah [1882-1903], and the Second Aliyah [1904 - 1914], etc. - there is no difference. If anything, we are more in the heart of the Land of Israel than Tel Aviv is. The only difference is political - an arbitrary difference made based on what is convenient for different politicians at different times - but we are doing the same thing that Land of Israel pioneers have done for generations."

Founded in March 2002, Migron (mentioned in Samuel I 14:2 and Isaiah 10:28) grew quickly, reaching 42 families after only a year and a half - at which point the government abruptly clamped down on further growth. Over 200 people, including well over 100 children, now live there. A synagogue and two homes are in permanent structures, while most of the residents live in mobile homes. Six government ministries, the Civil Administration, the Electric Company, Mekorot Water Company and other official bodies have all taken part in establishing infrastructures for the community.

Olmert now proposes a series of criteria to decide which outposts will be destroyed and when. The criteria include:

• the level of expected resistance to the destruction
• the legal status of the outpost and whether it can be evacuated immediately or not
• the amount of families living in the outpost
• the legal status of the land on which it was built.

Exodus in reverse! This is what the Olmert government is all about. Throwing this miraculous Third Exodus into reverse. Sharon, the turn coat, turned the Gaza and the city of Jericho into Arab occupied land, and now Olmert wants to out-do Sharon by making all of Judea and Samaria Arab occupied land. The Jews of the First and Second Exoduses must be turning over in their graves. The incompetence of both Prime Minister Olmert and his Defense Minister Peretz during the latest Lebanon War has stirred a call for their removal. Like other slick liberal politicians they are attempting to shift the focus from themselves. There is no other better target in liberal Israeli politics in which to focus hate then the Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers. The vilification of these poor folk has been going on for years. The great influx of mostly Russian Jews when the USSR fell has driven up housing costs. The liberal media fixed on the new comers classifying them as the hillbillies who can't afford sophisticated city living, and are confined to the outer hills of the boarder country. The truth is that most of these Alliah refugees are hard working farmers who have made the desert bloom. They came to Israel only knowing they were being persecuted in their homelands because they were Jewish. They had long ago lost identification with the blasphemous traditional practices of modern Judaism because practicing Judaism was outlawed where they lived. The traditional liberal Jews saw them as ignorant simpletons who drove up the cost of living. The price for feather beds in Tel Aviv were going up.

A good number of these Jews who are now living as settlers do not have the attachment to Jewish tradition as the more entrenched Jewish majority. They understand that they are Jewish through ancestry, and they also understand that they have come to live in the Promised Land. In every Exodus the Land had to be occupied, and they see no difference in today's miraculous Third Exodus. It is against these Jews that the liberal Olmert, and Peretz are now focusing the hate of the nation. The liberals want to paint these mostly conservative settlers with terminology such as religious fanatics, or right wing agitators who are the thorn that prevents peace in the Holy Land. The thorn has already stuck many a feather bed, and the animosity is ripe for political picking. If Olmert and Peretz are successful in shifting the public focus from the Lebanon War toward the war with the settlers, they just might be able to stay in power. It will be as slick a move as that fellow who said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" pulled on the American public shifting the focus to Ken Star in order to stay in power.

Folks, God is in the process of changing dispensations. The Church Age is ending, and the Kingdom Age is next. It is not the powerful who will enter into the Kingdom. It is the meek!

Friend, are you fit for the Biblical future God has for the Holy Land? The LORD Jesus Christ has been declared worthy to take, and open the title deed which He purchased with His own blood at Calvary. You must be born again if you are to spend all eternity future with Christ. Won't you come to Him today? Let Him change your heart. Let Him wash away your sin!

 

Special Knesset Session: Likud, Labor, UTJ Say Olmert Must Go

IsraelNN.com) In a special mid-recess Knesset session on Thursday afternoon, leaders of parties in and out of the opposition have called on Olmert and his government to quit.

Five minutes were granted to each speaker - a representative of each party - except for opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, who received ten.  A tense moment occurred when Speaker Majali Wahabe of Kadima refused to allow Zahava Gal'on of Meretz to say an extra sentence when her time was up, despite her repeated insistence on doing so; only the intervention of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert himself - despite Gal'on's very sharp words of criticism against the Prime Minister - convinced Wahabe to grant her the extra seconds.

Ex-Prime Minister Netanyahu opened the session by calling for new elections:
"This week, the Winograd Commission removed the screen from the eyes of the citizens, and reminded us of a truth that we all knew very clearly for the first decades of our State, but that has become blurred of late - namely, that our existence and peace with our enemies are dependent mainly on our strength. Only if we are strong, will we prevent or win wars, and will we have a genuine hope for peace.

I have said before: If our enemies lay down their swords, there will be peace, but if we lay down our swords, we simply won't be at all. This is the clearest message of the Winograd report - that our sword is held by a weak hand. I quote from the report: 'This is the first time in Israeli war history that a war in which we were involved ended without our clear victory... as our enemies saw as well.' This is something we cannot afford.

"Therefore, the rebuilding of our strength is not only the charge of the hour, but the charge of our existence. We must rebuild ourselves in every way...

"On July 12 [when the Second Lebanon War started], when danger arose, Israel once again proved its strength by volunteering and answering the call. Reservists left their affairs, showed up at their bases, and waited for orders, while in the north and in Sderot, people remained in shelters without complaining, and elsewhere in the country, people opened their homes for the northern residents who went south. This was the spirit of '48 and '67 and '73 that was once again revealed. We stood as one nation, putting a up a united front, showing national responsibility...

"We gave total backing to the government to achieve its aims and remove the threat. We thought, then, that there was someone we could count on. But in actuality, there was no leadership. The government failed twice - in its performance, and in its reading of the situation. The government was deeply entrenched in its conception of unilateral withdrawals - a policy that failed. In the north it failed, and in the south it is failing. This policy did not advance the peace that we all want; peace cannot be achieved via one-sided moves, but with dialogue with those of our enemy who want to end war. The time has now come to make the necessary changes and corrections. We must restore our deterrence and self-respect."

"We must fix the errors, and first and foremost - the lack of leadership, decision-making, etc. Leadership is the most important part of any organization, large or small. A leader must have a vision and lead the way, and if not, the organization loses its way very quickly. The country is longing for leadership like this; we all feel it. There is a general feeling that there is helplessness and paralysis in every aspect. The people want leaders who will make the necessary decisions, with national responsibility and good judgment. The State of Israel needs a different leadership - experience and not amateurism; judgment and not adventurism; etc. We must return to the nation and ask it what it wants."

Next to speak was MK Effie Eitam of the National Union, who addressed his remarks directly to the government ministers:
"We see you in your shame and embarrassment, hiding behind Ehudgrad, the ruins of your government, knowing that your time is up yet refusing to go. A good democracy doesn't need [rallies in] public squares - it has representatives, etc. But there are times when the government is no longer the public's representative, but only that of itself and its desire for power. That time is now. Tonight we will see in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv that that is the situation now.

"Reservists who fought in the war will be there, and families of those who fell, and many others, and many who won't be able to be there physically - and there will be hope, hope for something better that we deserve and that we will receive, if only you will allow the natural democratic events to take their course.

"There is a very broad consensus, wall to wall, united in their desire to see you go home. You, Olmert, say you will fix the faults - but you are the main fault."

MK Danny Yatom of the Labor Party, which is a leading partner in the government coalition, also called for Olmert's resignation:
"You have failed in all that is concerned with the Second Lebanon War. The time of responsibility has arrived. You must now show leadership - that which was so sorely missing during the war - and quit. This crisis is among the worst in the history of the State. You have lost the confidence of the voters, and you can no longer represent them. Instead of spending your time dealing with political survival, there is a country that has to be run." ...

 

The hand writing is on the wall. The Olmert government has been weighed, and found wanting. Should Olmert fall at this time be sure to know it is by the hand of God! Old Belshazzar was as puffed up as the liberal Olmert. He thought God would have to bend to his decrees rather then he bending to God.

 Olmert did as bad as if he had desecrated the Holy vessels from the House of God when he decided to give away most of the Holy Land to the barbarians. He knew better! He saw what happened to Ariel Sharon right after he gave away the Gaza including the city of Jericho. Olmert, filled with his own pride, has bragged that he will go even beyond what Sharon had done. Olmert brags that before his term is finished he will give away all of Judah and Samaria (The West Bank). Olmert includes almost all the city of Jerusalem with Judah, and I'm convinced Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount will be tossed into the deal with the Jerusalem give away. This is plain and simply blasphemy. The Holy Land, Jerusalem, and most importantly the Temple Mount belong to God. He allowed them to fall into the hands of many filthy despots and potentates over the millennia, but in these later days He has given the Jews sovereignty over their Promised Land. In 1967 all of Judah, and Samaria along with all of the city of Jerusalem including the Temple Mount became Jewish. The Jordanian army pulled back across the Jordan River, and made it clear to the international community that they have no desire to ever return. The want no part in any claims to these lands. They have no love for the barbarian Palestinian Authority now wanting to be declared the sovereigns. It was Civil War with the Palestinian refugees inside Jordan when the Palestinians tried to overthrow the Jordanian Monarchy turning it into a barbarian State was enough for Jordan to wipe their hands of the entire matter. They do not want anything to do with the lands west of the Jordan River. They do not want anything to do with the Palestinian Arabs.

Olmert would love to give the West Bank back to the Jordanians, but they want no part of it. His plan is to give it instead to the worst culture in the world today. The culture behind the first hijacking of an airliner bringing the entire international community into their private battles with the Jews. The culture that staged the Olympic Massacre in Germany under the eyes of the world. This is the culture that brought Islamic barbarism to the whole world. This is the culture that introduced child suicide bombers to the world. This is the culture that has been perpetually firing Kassam rockets into Israel. This is the culture that Olmert intends to give all of the West Bank as a staging area from where to kill Jews. It is no wonder the call for impeachment is so strong.

The hand writing seems implicate. God has publicly stripped Olmert of any honor. It is like Bill Clinton being confronted with the seaman stained dress. Both of these liberal politicians have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting by God. There still can be a different evaluation by the sinful evil men of Israel. The American Democrats found the Clinton sexually perverted behavior in the White House as acceptable. They stood on the Capital steps supporting his presidency, and He survived. Olmert may also survive his incompetence in order to accomplish his blasphemous plan for the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. It will not be the first time that sin wins a battle here in this sin filled world. Friend, it is the disposition of the entire war that should be of concern to you. Battles go back and forth, but final victory in this war over the Holy Land is a forgone conclusion according to the Bible. The Lord Jesus Christ is going to win! All those who have refused to be born again, or just gave lip service to spiritual rebirth will lose!

U.S. ‘Benchmark Plan’ May be a Timeline for Terror

(IsraelNN.com) Israeli officials are worried about a set of so-called “benchmarks” presented last week by U.S. diplomats that would be used as steps toward final status negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.

As before, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will fly to the region, this time on May 15th to drag the powerless PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and unpopular Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert back to the bargaining table to enforce the implementation of those benchmarks.

The eight-month timeline calls for a series of steps that resemble the “confidence-building measures” laid out in the tattered Road Map plan, another U.S. initiative which Israel began to carry out and the PA basically ignored.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert already tentatively agreed last week to comply with America’s latest laundry list, according to the Reuters news agency. U.S. officials said the PA had also agreed to carry out the plan, which is set to begin this month and carry on through December.

Neither Israel nor the PA, however, has officially responded to the document, which becomes a binding contract if both sides formally accept it.

Israeli officials are deeply concerned about the viability of the plan, authored by U.S. Security Coordinator Keith Dayton, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Richard Jones and U.S. Consul-General in Jerusalem, Jacob Walles.

The benchmarks include a deadline by which Israel will allow PA bus and truck convoys to shuttle between Gaza and PA-controlled areas of Judea and Samaria.

Israel is also expected to remove the security roadblocks in Judea and Samaria and extend operating hours at the major border crossings with Gaza.

More ominous, Israel will be forced to provide arms, ammunition and equipment to PA security forces in an “immediate and ongoing” manner, whenever U.S. Maj.-Gen. Dayton “requests” it.

Israel’s security establishment emphasizes that these moves would dramatically endanger an already vulnerable Israeli civilian population constantly facing missile launchings from Gaza, suicide bombings, and other terrorist attacks.

On the PA side of the deal, a deadline is set for Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) to increase deployment of security forces and “begin curbing rocket fire by militants,” according to media reports.

The PA corridor demand is not new. Convoys between the PA territories and Gaza were approved in a deal brokered by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in November 2005, before the Hamas terrorist organization became the ruling faction of the PA government.

Although Israel faced numerous attacks prior to the elections, the number skyrocketed after Hamas took control of the PA, adding kidnappings of an IDF soldier, foreign nationals and terrorists from both factions. IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit has yet to be returned by the Hamas-allied terrorists who kidnapped him, killed two soldiers and critically wounded another in a cross-border raid in June 2006. 

Hamas, Fatah Cannot Ensure Safety in PA-Controlled Areas, Even for PA Residents

Thousands of PA residents are desperate to escape the nightmare of life under the PA government, lining up to apply for visas that will enable them to live in other countries.

Hundreds of other PA Arabs have been killed or wounded due to the internecine fighting between Fatah and Hamas terrorists as they battle for control of the government – this, despite the so-called “unity” coalition that was to have ended the bloodbath several months ago.

Foreign journalists no longer maintain permanent bureaus in Gaza – it is simply not safe to do so. Furthermore, the Foreign Press Association recently warned its members to avoid on-site coverage in Gaza if at all possible due to the chaotic conditions and lack of security in the area.

A number of reporters have been kidnapped in the past 12 months, including journalists from Associated Press, the French AFP news agency and others. Some were held for an hour or two, others were held longer. A Fox news team was kept incommunicado in the latter half of 2006 for two weeks. Most recently, a Scottish national named Alan Johnston, a reporter for the British Broadcasting Corporation, was snatched in March and has not been heard from since.

U.S. Ignoring the Dangerous 'Facts on the Ground'

The Bush administration nonetheless insists that the eight-month plan will bring a win-win situation for all parties.

Secretary Rice expresses confidence that the specific deadlines will create a firm structure in a process that has not moved forward despite years of efforts by various U.S. governments.

A senior U.S. official commented the plan provides incentives on both sides – “One side gets security. The other side gets greater [freedom] of movement.”

Israeli officials aren’t so sure; Jerusalem noted that Israel is being told to erase security measures without first making sure that Abbas can keep his promises to ensure security for Israelis at the same time.

As an unnamed Israeli official pointed out, “There is not (sic) conditionality. Even if they don’t complete their obligations, we’ll have to complete ours.”

The Islamic barbarians were beside themselves when the boarder between Egypt and the Gaza was put entirely under Islamic control. The arms began flowing into the Gaza like water. The rocket attacks on Israel markedly increased. The Gaza was turned into a terrorist staging area for even bolder attacks on the Jews. Islam now sees how to broaden the attack zones by moving the same armaments into Samaria and Judah. The convoys are not the issue. They are already functioning delivering goods back and forth among the Arabs. The issue is convoys inspected only by Islam. The same standards as are applied on the Egyptian Gaza boarder will now be applied to the Gaza Samaria / Judah boarders. I'm sure the Arabs of Samaria and Judah are already digging the secret rocket bunkers from which to fire the expected bonanza. The lesson of the Lebanon War, and the success of Hizbullah is now being applied to Samaria and Judah. The Evangelical White House is making it all possible. The silent majority just fold their hands in prayer, and go right along with the Road Map as planed.

Folks, this eight month plan could well be an eight month plan for the countdown to Armageddon. God is not going to put up with this sin filled generation for long. The Bible is so clear that this miraculous Third Exodus is purposed for dispensational change! The LORD Jesus Christ is coming again! Islam is not going to stop Him. The Olmert government is not going to stop Him. And, Apostate Christianity is not going to stop Him. I do not know how far the Road Map is going to go, but I know it is not going to stop Christ either.

What is happening in the Holy Land has nothing to do with politics. The Kingdom of heaven is at hand, and men need to either repent or perish! The old cry to God thanking Him for delivering the Jews from the Egyptians is about to change. A new cry will be going up in thanks to all God is about to do in this our generation. The generation of the miraculous Third Exodus.

Today the Russian Jews from the North make up a large portion of the Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers. They are the object of all the fierce persecution taking place by the Olmert Government in conjunction with American Road Map policy. They may well be the first Jews to experience redemption when the Church Age ends, and the Kingdom Age begins. Jesus Christ is coming again to the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount. Ezekiel's Temple with a throne must be built in preparation for His return. The task is already given to the Jews. The same Jesus Christ of the rapture is the same Messiah of those Jews who will build Ezekiel's Temple. Friend, will you be counted among those of all Ages who will be found in Christ? In our Age only those who are born again will be partakers in the coming Kingdom. Oh friend, come to Christ before it is too late.

 

 

Nasrallah praises Winograd's 'verdict of failure'

In an unprecedented statement, Hizb'Allah terror leader Hassan Nasrallah yesterday praised the Winograd Committee's report on the Second Lebanon War, expressing his respect for Israel's "verdict of failure." During an appearence in Beirut, Nasrallah said:
"Even though they're our enemies, it is worthy of respect that the political forces and the Israeli public act quickly to save their state, entity, army and their existence in the crisis." Nasrallah added that "When it comes to survival, the Zionists are prepared to sacrifice Olmert and a thousand more like him." The outpspoken terror leader also said that Winograd had vindicated his claims that Israel was defeated in the war. "The report is a clear declaration of defeat for Israel," Nasrallah said. "The report wrote the word failure more than 100 times."
 

It seems the only one still going around claiming the Second Lebanon War was a clear cut Israeli victory is Olmert. Nasrallah is convinced Allah is about to give him the even bigger victory of exterminating all the Jews of the Holy Land. A victory over a nation of monkeys is not very honorable so Nasrallah can afford to give the Jews some respect at this time. The Second Lebanon War would not have been lost if Olmert would not have turned it into an attempted political victory. He cleaned out the officer corps of conservatives who might have balked at removing over 250,000 Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers, but who would have defeated Hizbullah knowing their God gives them the victory. Olmert replaced them with liberal officers who believe in God only with their lips, and who proved totally incompetent in battle. They will, however, prove themselves vicious fighters in removing the mostly passive civilian settlers from their homes in the Holy Land.

We here in America are about to follow Olmert as the liberal Democrats flex their muscles in Iraq. They are determined to bring their politics into the War which will only assure defeat. Nothing will convince them of the disaster they are creating. They are going to call it peace, and they are going to shove it down the throats of all the hated conservatives.

It is God who is giving this generation a verdict of failure! This is the only verdict that matters. The Church has failed to keep separated from false doctrine, and worldliness. All that matters to this generation of Christians is numbers! The biggest congregation. The biggest viewing audience. The biggest number of converts coming forward to give lip service to the god of this generation. The Great Apostate Whore is growing by leaps and bounds. Only a small remnant are expected to be raptured as God brings the Church Age to a close. They will be translated out of Great Apostasy which will be left behind as fodder for the antichrist. Failure will be the verdict when the rapture takes place. The lukewarm generation of neither cold or hot Christians will close the Church Age in failure.

The verdict of failure toward Israel is even more clear. God will have to raise up a remnant out of the masses of failed Jews now living in the Holy Land. Two Witnesses of Revelation 11, and 144,000 Jews of Revelation 7 & 14 will be the remnant God will raise to set the foundation for the next Kingdom Age. A Temple must be built. A Holy Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. A Temple with a throne and an altar. A throne for the coming King of Glory, and an altar where blood sacrifice will offered daily for the next thousand years in remembrance of Calvary.

The verdict is failure for all of Islam. They will not step aside for the coming Jewish King, and so Ezekiel 39 is what the Bible says will be their fate. A horrific defeat in the fields and on the mountains of the Holy Land. Their dead bodies will be fodder for the beasts of the field, and the fowl of the air. Their destruction will open the door for the remnant of Jews to build Ezekiel's Temple on the Temple Mount.

The verdict is failure to the gentile nations as God brings an end to the times of the gentiles. Armageddon is their fate at the end of the Great Tribulation when the LORD Jesus Christ returns for the second time. Just as Islam would not step aside at the beginning of the Great Tribulation for the remnant of Jews in the Holy Land so also will the gentile nations refuse to step aside for the Jewish Messiah King when He comes at the end of the Great Tribulation.

Friend, what will the verdict of God be when He evaluates your life? Will you be found a failure to have come to Christ for salvation? You can fix that failure right now by coming to Him! Jesus died in your place at Calvary. He bore your sin on His body. He suffered and died on your behalf. He shed His blood so your sin could be washed away. His resurrection was proof that His perfect sacrifice was acceptable by the perfect God of the Bible. The offer of salvation for you is by grace. There is no price (you could not pay for such great a gift anyway). All Jesus asks is that you come to Him in humble repentance, and ask Him to save you. Friend, won't you come to Christ today?

Terrorists Hit Sderot as Abbas and Olmert Weaken

Terrorists continued to unleash Kassam rocket, rock and firebombing attacks from Gaza and throughout Judea and Samaria Saturday, most of which have been ignored by Israeli media.

Islamic Jihad terrorists attacked the Negev town of Sderot with three rockets, and one of them scored a direct hit on a home, causing extensive damage but no injuries. Five more rockets fell in open areas across the western Negev Saturday. At least four more were fired Sunday. 

The rock and firebomb attacks Saturday included stonings of a bus and cars near Bethlehem, on the road between Kfar Sava and communities in Samaria and on a highway south of Hevron. Several vehicles sustained damage, and one man suffered injuries in his eye.

The escalation in attacks came as Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert have become more powerless to fight terrorism and even failed to resume twice-monthly meetings this week.

American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice initially brought the two together in a meeting marked by angry shouts and mutual charges of failure to act. They last met in mid-April in what appears to be a quick end to the bi-weekly face-to-face conferences resulting from an American effort to force renewed negotiations

Abbas, Olmert Lead Weak Governments

Each leader is facing his own political crisis, leaving both of them without time or energy to deal with terrorist attacks. Hamas, which shares the reins of power with Fatah, challenged the Bush administration Saturday, saying it does not accept an American plan calling for more "good will" measures by Israel in return for another attempt to stop terrorist attacks.

The American government has been pressuring Israel to eliminate more army checkpoints, although their removal usually is followed by an increasing number of attacks

Government officials have expressed strong opposition to the latest American plan for more "good will" measures in return for PA plans, without action, to curtail terrorism. The Hamas rejection of the American proposal may bury it.

Abbas has renewed threats that he will call new elections in an effort to reverse the Hamas domination in the legislature. He claimed that the government will collapse because of the continued American-led sanctions against transferring money to a PA government that is shared by Hamas.

"Tensions between Fatah and Hamas are very high," said a senior PA official. "The situation could deteriorate into violence at any moment."

Prime Minister Olmert is facing one crisis after the other, including charges of corruption and blame from the Winograd Committee for failures in the war against Hizbullah. He has resisted calls to resign.

Despite repeated vows not to tolerate continued attacks from Gaza, the Olmert administration has confined its counter-terrorist actions to Judea and Samaria, where it killed three terrorists in Jenin Friday afternon.

Attempts by terrorists to infiltrate from Egypt also continued Saturday, and army soldiers killed one armed man who tried to sneak across the border.

Egypt has taken responsibility for patrolling the border since Israel withdrew from the area following the demolition of Jewish communities in the Gaza region two summers ago.

Hamas militias said Saturday they have taken control of the sites of most of the demolished Jewish communities, which were supposed to have become the foundation for growth in Arab agriculture.

In a separate incident within the PA Saturday, Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades terrorists aligned with Abbas executed a man suspected of cooperating with Israel.

I just tried a 10K walk with a group of Volkswalkers. My feet gave out at the 8 K mark, and I did not get credit for finishing the walk. I guess I'll have to stick to the 5K walks for a while longer. The pace is 3 miles, or 5 K per hour. It sounds like the Independent Fundamental Jewish Settlers according to the video were forced by the Israeli Army to walk for 2- 1/2 hours. That must be close to 8 miles or 12K. I would not have made it! I have a good perspective right now of what these settlers are facing as they try to fight the Olmert government, and hang on to their homes and lands.

The Islamic movement aimed at taking over the Holy Land is not limited to just the boarder towns. Bethlehem is a prime target where a strong Christian Arab presents existed for thousands of years. Arafat began the intimidation with death squads that have now driven out almost all the Christians from Bethlehem. It is now an Islamic barbarian stronghold. Only a few years ago the barbarians fleeing from the Israeli Army held up in the Church of Nativity in the heart of Bethlehem. The Pope who hates the Jews more then even the barbaric Moslems gave them sanctuary. They repaid his kindness by trying to burn down that ancient Church. Today they intend to build a Mosque on the front lawn of the Church of Nativity that will completely block it from view. Even the main entrance will no longer be available to the Christians forcing them to use a side entrance to access the Church.

Hate has no bounds. It's origin is sin, and as we approach these last days it is clear to see how the environment for the antichrist is set in place. The world does not want a Messiah to restore righteousness. The world wants the antichrist so they can sin and hate all the more. The era of the majority has bloomed, and the majority wants the freedom to sin. The lusts of the world, flesh, and the devil rule with the majority wanting to get on the most popular bandwagon. We are entering a new era of the liberal. Tolerance for a minority seeking higher values does not exist. Hate is the liberal response to all who would defy whatever sinful direction they may choose to go. The antichrist is ready to point the masses in the direction of destruction, and the gullible crowds are ready to be his fodder.

Friend, you need not let this evil world drag you along as the antichrist takes control. You can break from the crowd. You can be more then a conqueror in Christ. We will mostly lose all the little battles, but the final victory which is the only one that counts can be ours. These last days are going to be hard days for those who love Christ, but we have the assurance we will conquer all things in Christ. Paul tells us in Romans that there is no power strong enough to separate us from Christ. All the liberal politicians, and even all of Islam do not have the power to stop Christ from keeping His word to us. Friend it all starts with being born again. This is the only place you can start with the Christ of the Bible. Won't you come to Him today? 

 

Hamas' Mickey Mouse: Teaching Kids to Hate and Kill

(IsraelNN.com) Hamas TV has a new children's show which features a Mickey Mouse lookalike. But this Mickey does not romp about with Pluto, nor does he woo Minnie Mouse. Instead – he teaches his young viewers to fight the "Zionist Occupation" and dream of a world dominated by Islam

The squeaky-voiced Mickey Mouse lookalike, named Farfur, is the star of a weekly children’s program called Tomorrow’s Pioneers on the official Hamas TV station (Al-Aqsa TV), which broadcasts from Gaza via satellite to the entire Arab world. Farfur and his co-host, a young girl named Saraa’, teach children about such things as the importance of the daily prayers and drinking milk, but also instruct them to hate Israel and the US and support "resistance" – a euphemism for te

Farfur tells children that they must pray in the mosque five times a day until there is “world leadership under Islamic leadership.” The earnest and soft-spoken Saraa’ explains that the nucleus of the Islamic leadership of the world will be from “all of Palestine,” including Israel. Farfur refers to Israel as “the oppressive invading Zionist occupation,” which the children must "resist."

Saraa’ announces that after death, the children will have to answer to Allah for what they did or did not do for the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and for Palestinian prisoners: “I remind you that Al-Aqsa and the prisoners are a responsibility on our shoulders, and Allah will ask us on Resurrection Day what we gave for their sake," she tells the tots viewing the show.

According to Palestinian Media Watch, "using a character based on an appealing, world-famous and beloved icon like Mickey Mouse to teach Islamic supremacy and resistance as Islamic duty is a powerful and effective way to indoctrinate children."
 

The program encourages participation by child viewers, who phone in to the show and recite poems with images of hate and violence; for example, “We will destroy the chair of the despots, so they will taste the flame of death,” and, in another poem, "Rafah sings ‘Oh, oh.’ Its answer is an AK-47. We who do not know fear, we are the predators of the forest."

Folks, if you think this Islamic generation of suicide bombers is horrific, wait until you see this next generation come up. These Mickey Mouse nurtured barbarians will never make peace with either Jew, Christian, or any other infidel. They will not even make peace with the antichrist when he comes on the scene. The Al Aqsa, and Dome of the Rock mosques must be bulldozed away. It must be obvious that Islam must be swept out of the way at the same time. I believe in the aftermath of Ezekiel 39 not only will the Jews be free of Islamic influence over the Holy Land, but the antichrist will make his appearance signing a peace treaty with the Jews as the representative of the Western World in the absence of Islam.
