The issue of Jewish sovereignty over the Temple Mount is what is happening today. The Third Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is the next issue for tomorrow. The Bible is very specific that a Jewish Temple will sit on the Temple Mount midway through the Great Tribulation. The entire Bible stands or falls on what happens to the Temple Mount. A sovereign God is forcing His will on reluctant mankind. Islam is the most resistant, and Ezekiel 38 & 39 reveals a great Islamic invasion of Israel that marks the end of Islam. The Old Testament is quickly becoming very contemporary. This is especially true when it comes to events involving the Temple Mount!

It is only on this Mount that the God of the Bible allowed His children to build Him a house. It is the most holy place on the entire planet. God removed His presents from this place in the book of Ezekiel because of the sins of Israel. That first Temple was destroyed by Old Babylon which on its own is becoming very contemporary. The Jews were allowed to return to the Holy Land, and build the Second Jewish Temple on the same Temple Mount. It was this Temple that the greater glory presented Himself to the world in the form of the incarnate Christ. The world rejected the salvation He offered and crucified Him, and in the process completed God's plan for the only perfect sacrifice for sin to be accomplished. The Jews in their rejection became spiritually blind, and lost the Holy Land again. 2000 years have past, and the Jews miraculously have regained the Holy Land once again.

The next major issue the God of the Bible will force on the Jews will be the Building of His house again! The whole world rejects such a move by the Jews, but no matter how reluctant they may be - a sovereign God will not be deterred from what He has said in the Bible!

TEMPLE MOUNT MAY COLLAPSE DURING RAMADAN

The Temple Mount might collapse on hundreds of thousands of Muslim worshippers during Ramadan prayers, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was told in a secret meeting on Sunday.

Unsupervised construction on the Temple Mount by the Muslim Waqf (religious authorities), has caused an increasingly dangerous buckling of the southern wall now extends a meter beyond the surface.

"If Israel decides to repair the wall without a prior agreement with the Waqf, this could lead to riots and bloodshed. But if the Temple Mount collapses on a crowd of Muslim worshippers, this would be ten times worse. We'll be held responsible, whatever we do," said one Israeli source.

Finally Jerusalem Recognized as Capital of Israel  

US President George Bush has signed a Congress-approved resolution calling for the United States to officially recognize Jerusalem as the Jewish State’s legitimate capital. Bush says, however, that his administration's policy toward Jerusalem will remain unchanged. In the words of his press secretary, the resolution's Jerusalem provisions are "advisory, not mandatory." As such, Bush has no plans to relocate the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as urged by the bill.

Congress passed the Jerusalem addendum last week as part of the government’s Foreign Relations Authorization Act for the year 2003. The resolution states, inter alia, that official US government documents that list country’s capitals will have to identify Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. A second provision stipulates that US citizens born in Jerusalem may request that “Israel” be included as their country of birth. Until now, only “Jerusalem” appeared - as if the city were a separate independent entity.

State Department spokesman Richard Boucher criticized the Congressional resolution, saying that it hinders the "advance[ment] of [US] interests in the region and promoting a just and lasting peace." Boucher added that Secretary of State Colin Powell believes the city's future must be determined in the course of negotiations between Israel and the PA.

Arabs slam U.S. law defining Jerusalem as Israeli capital

Arabs lashed out at the United States on Wednesday over new legislation signed by U.S. President George W. Bush that urges recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital, with Palestinian Authority Chiarman Yasser Arafat describing the law a "catstrophe" and a former Jordanian minister said it would turn the world's 1 billion Muslims into Washington's enemies

The issue of sovereignty in the Holy Land is again in the news! This time it is the rightful recognition of Jerusalem as the official Capital of the State of Israel. It has been a long time in coming as is every sovereignty issue involving the Jews. The world responds with great frustration whenever Jewish sovereignty over the Holy Land is pressed. America has taken a bold lead in acknowledging the truth the whole world knows is true, which is that Jerusalem is the declared Capital of Israel. The Jews have said this city is ours. The seat of their government has long met in Jerusalem. It is the world that has long resisted dealing with  this reality.

Arafat has tried to say Jerusalem is his. He has tried claiming Jerusalem for Islam. Lately, it has been like Hitler claiming the world for himself on the last day of his life surrounded in his bombed out bunker in Berlin. There is a reality that goes along with any declaration of sovereignty. For both Arafat and Hitler it proved nothing more then a fool's vision of grandeur.

God continues working behind the scenes establishing before the world the truth that Jerusalem really belongs to Him! Soon, He will openly make that claim when the Great Tribulation begins. The 7 years of Great Tribulation will force upon the world the issue of God's sovereignty over both Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. The world resisting God is what causes the Great Tribulation. It should not be that way, but as the world today rejects secular Jewish sovereignty so also will it reject the sovereignty of God's soon coming Biblically based Jewish Kingdom!

TEMPLE MOUNT TO BE EXAMINED IN LIGHT OF FEARS OF COLLAPSE

A European company has been asked to examine the bulge in the Temple Mount as concerns have been raised that the pilgrimage of hundreds of thousands of Muslims during upcoming Ramadan observances could cause the massive raised platform to collapse.

The combination of heavy rains, deterioration of the structure's foundations, the condition of some of the cisterns, and excavations of recent years coming together with hundreds of thousands of people on the plaza during Ramadan could result in disaster and the loss of hundreds of lives.

The European Federation for Non-Destructive Testing, (EFNDT) which specializes in examining buildings with lasers, radar, x-rays, and ultra-sound, has been asked for a second time to examine the condition of the Temple Mount.

The bulge in the southern wall and some tenuous underground supports beneath the plaza on the surface, have experts worried about a potential collapse that could cost lives.

The Muslim Waqf issued a warning on Tuesday that the site is in danger of imminent collapse, blaming Israel for halting repairs being made to the southern wall. The Waqf's chief executive, Adnan al Husseini told the Voice of Palestine that Israel has obstructed repair work the Waqf was conducting on the southern wall. He said 20 percent of the work was done, but as a
result of Israeli actions, which he did not specify, the Waqf was forced to halt the repairs.

Ramadan, the holiest month in Islam, has been turned in recent decades into a rallying point for a pan-Islamic jihad for Jerusalem. Ever since Iran's late Ayatollah Khomeini declared the last Friday of Ramadan as "Jerusalem Day," hundreds of thousands of Muslims have taken to the streets each year to menacingly demonstrate their support for a re-conquest of Jerusalem.

Meantime, several hundred thousand Muslims in Israel and Palestinian areas flock to the Temple Mount each Friday of Ramadan to stake their claim to the site, with the last Friday of the month drawing upwards of 400,000 people.
 

The Moslem Waqf has just done a 180 degree turn last Tuesday. They were claiming the bulge in the Southern wall of the Temple Mount was nothing that should cause any worry of a collapse. Now, they are saying collapse is imminent. Now, they cover over their incompetence during their zealous efforts to convert the Solomon Stables  underground archeological site into a Grand Mosque. Their grand plan for Allah has gone amuck, and they do what all the Islamic's do today which is blame the Jews. They are now claiming they are only 20% finished with their unauthorized grand plan, and the Jews are preventing them from completing  it. The claim now is when the wall collapses, and all the surface shrines fall into the unsupervised, and totally imbecilic pit left behind by their excavations - that the Jews are to be the blame!

The sovereign God of the Bible has His own plans for the Temple Mount. His coming Jewish Kingdom will have it's centerpiece the Third Jewish Temple built on this one and only holy mountain. No force on earth can stop God from keeping His word about the future of the Temple Mount. That future does not include a Moslem Mosque on, in, or near His soon coming holy house! It is Islam that must go according to the Biblical plan that God has already revealed.

The next dispensation is that of the Jewish Kingdom with the Lord Jesus Christ reigning as King of the Jews, and King of kings! A time of universal great joy and praise.

I honestly don't know that the Moslem shrines and mosque on the surface of the Temple Mount will collapse into this pit? I do know God at His timing will have them removed to make room for His always intended house to stand as an ensign during the millennial reign of Christ!

The Pit

During October 1999-January 2000, a huge hole -- 50 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 12 meters deep -- was dug in the Temple Mount north of the underground substructure known as Solomon's Stables. This structure is a row of subterranean halls located at the southeastern corner of the Temple Mount and is enclosed by the external wall of the Mount.

This structure was last used by the Crusaders during the medieval era. The system of halls was improved in the twelfth century by the knightly Order of Solomon's Temple (the Templars), whose members, fighting monks, gave them the name of "Solomon's Stables." The Crusader King Baldwin handed the place over to the Knights Templars, and they turned it into stables for their horses. After a major earthquake in 1033 CE, the top of the structure was rebuilt, but no one can confidently date its original construction.

It is not clear what is under Solomon's Stables. We do know about an underground corridor lying below the level of the Single Gate (which once led to Solomon's Stables) that is constructed of Herodian-style blocks. The corridor ends at its northern extremity before a doorway leading to a structure situated below Solomon's Stables. Most scholars suggest that it was founded in the Second Temple period. King Herod built this substructure when he leveled the platform of the Mount.

Policemen on the Mount reported observing the dismantling of a water channel with arches on the western side of the pit at a depth of 2-3 meters, an ancient structure built some time between the Second Temple period and the Muslim period.

Jordan to renovate pulpit at Al-Aqsa Mosque

AMMAN - Jordan has assigned a local firm to reconstruct the pulpit of Saladin, which was burned down in 1969, in Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque, the official Petra news agency said Thursday.

The Mehrab Bureau for Islamic Construction will refurbish the pulpit based on designs by the Islamic Arts Institute at Jordan's Balqa University, for 50,000 dinars.

Petra said the work on the new pulpit is expected to be completed within a year, after which it will be installed inside the mosque.

The total cost of renovating, transporting and installing the pulpit is about 2 million dinars ($2.8 million), Petra said.

King Hussein, who died of cancer in 1999, pledged to repair the pulpit after his visit to the mosque following the peace agreement with Israel.

The two major structures on the Temple Mount are the Dome of the Rock shrine, and the Al-Aqsa mosque. It is the mosque that will receive the 2.8 million dollar pulpit.  I once used an old fence post in Montana for a pulpit so this is all beyond my concepts of what a pulpit is suppose to be like. I do know the God of the Bible blessed that old pulpit. I also know God will curse every word of blasphemy coming from this 2.8 million dollar pulpit if the Al-Aqsa mosque doesn't fall in the pit before hand?

The struggle for sovereignty over the Temple Mount continues. Islam is losing its grip, and screaming all the way. This 2.8 million dollar expenditure will do nothing in trying to reverse what happened in the 1967 war.  Jordan as well as all of Islam forever lost any claim to sovereignty over the Temple Mount. The secular Jews have been very reluctant to take the responsibility God placed in their hands, but the recent illegal activities of the Moslem Waqf trustees may finally force Israel to assume full control. The next step will be the Third Jewish Temple!

Mankind kicks, screams, and fights with every move God makes to begin bringing in the next dispensation of the Jewish Kingdom. All this resistance will be for nothing. God will not be turned from what He has already revealed in the Bible about His plan for the future of the Temple Mount! The Christian Church will soon be of the past. The future is for Israel! The future glory of Israel will rule the world in the next dispensation.

Police storm Temple Mount after worshippers throw stones

Jerusalem police stormed the Temple Mount, after dozens of Palestinian worshippers threw stones at the officers stationed meters away from the Western Wall plaza, following Friday prayers.

According to police sources, no injuries were sustained and no damage was caused during the incident, and worshippers were allowed to leave the Temple Mount. Police continued to keep a large presence in and around the Temple Mount, however, to ensure that order was maintained.

Police used stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the Palestinians. According to Palestinian sources, there were some 5,000 worshippers on the Mount at the time.

The sources added that after prayers, most of the worshippers left the Temple Mount, but some 150 stayed behind, inside the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Police said about 30 Palestinian youths began throwing stones at police stationed at the entrance of a pathway leading from the side of the plaza up to the Temple Mount compound.

"It was thought they were intending to throw rocks into the plaza where (Jewish) worshippers were, so police entered the (Temple Mount) compound and fired a few stun grenades," a spokesman said.

No End In Sight To P.A. Media Incitement

The latest Palestinian Media Watch Bulletin notes that while the PA sends the world "messages of peace" via its English-language spokespersons, it continues to send messages of "Kill and be killed" to its own people. Palestinian Media Watch , a watchdog organization monitoring the official PA media, cites a "new film clip on PA television" featuring a young bereaved mother as the heroine of incitement. PMW Director Itamar Marcus explains:
"In a new film clip on PA TV, five civilian [non-uniformed] gunmen, armed with automatic rifles, go off to fight Israelis. One of the gunmen is seen running towards Israeli fire until he attacks the Israelis with a hand grenade, after which, in slow motion, he is shot and falls dead to the ground. When his body is brought to his mother, she kisses him and raises her hand above her mouth and calls out the traditional Arab call of joy. Afterwards, she stoically hands the rifle to the next in line to continue the killing of Israelis. The PA message to their people of 'Kill and be Killed' has never ceased."

PMW recently cited another clip shown on PA television about a child's farewell letter in which he writes, "Mother, don't cry over me, be joyous over my blood." The two clips complement each other, Marcus explains, as "one is from the child's perspective, expressing the willingness to die, while the other is from the parent's perspective, showing her joy over her child's death as a holy martyr. The two are indicative of the continued glorification of death as 'Shahids' that is inherent to PA social ideology."

Arafat considers moving to Bethlehem

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat is considering moving his headquarters from Ramallah to Bethlehem, according to PA officials.

PA Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nabil Shaath yesterday confirmed that Arafat is thinking about moving to Bethlehem, but refused to elaborate. Another minister told The Jerusalem Post he heard from Arafat's advisors that he is seriously contemplating such a move.

 

This hate the Jew culture is why God revealed in the Bible the end of Islam is coming soon. Pharaoh could not see past his own pride as God brought plague after plague on that mighty nation until he finally succumbed to God's will, and let the children of Israel go. Today, Arab pride blinds them to the reality that the Jews are never going to leave the Holy Land that was promised them by God. The same God who destroyed Egypt at the time of the exodus is now destroying the Palestinian Authority. Arafat crawls out of his destroyed headquarter building claiming victory while nothing but rubble surrounds him.  He, just like pharaoh remains blinded to reality by his own pride.

The suicide bombings have only strengthened Israeli resolve to never leave their Promised Land. There has actually been a rise in those Jews leaving other lands for Israel during the present Palestinian revolt. The number of Jews coming from America has risen. Whatever Arafat's goals were by pumping this present revolt have failed miserably. I doubt Arafat's servants will ever convince him the Palestinian Authority is destroyed. The message of hate will continue until God takes his life as He did Pharaoh's life at the Red Sea.

The more pressure God puts on Arafat to leave His people alone; The harder does the heart of Arafat become! The pride of Arafat, and all his followers will be to their death!

Israel Set to Use New Missile Shield to Counter Scuds

PALMACHIM AIR FORCE BASE, Israel — Israel has deployed an operational missile defense and is ready to use it to protect Tel Aviv and other major population centers if they come under fire from Iraq's arsenal of Scud missiles.

Known as the Arrow, the system is designed to avoid the pitfalls of the American Patriot system, which Israelis say had little success in stopping Iraq's Scud missile attacks during the Persian Gulf war in 1991.

The program, which will cost more than $2 billion, is partly financed by the United States. One battery is already deployed here, and when the final interceptors and radars are installed about two years from now, Israel will be the first nation in the world to have a nationwide missile defense system.

If the Bush administration follows through with its threats to attack Iraq, and Saddam Hussein lashes out at Israel, the Arrow could be put to the test in what would be an important trial of antimissile technology.

"It would be the first time in history that an interceptor that was developed strictly to shoot down incoming missiles is used," a Pentagon official said. "The Patriot used in 1991 was designed to shoot down airplanes and modified to give it some kind of antimissile capability. But from the start, the Arrow was built to intercept ballistic missiles. The whole world will be watching to see what happens, and we will be watching."

I remember how President Regan was ridiculed for proposing a missile intercept program. The very name Star Wars was a derogative term proposed as sarcasm by the detractors. How thankful Israel is today that many stood up to the sarcasm over the years, and remained committed to the goal of a missile intercept system that worked. The timing has turned out perfect for the threat now being aimed at Israel.  The problem is that this security is not eternal

I continue watching for the false peace coming to Israel after the war on terrorism ends. I can't help but see the Arrow missile system as another crutch propping up a false concept of this peace. Israel as well as the rest of the world is yet to learn it is only in God that eternal security can be found. Trusting in the craftiness of man will always fail in the end.

A large segment of today's Christianity teaches the world that there is no eternal security to be found in God. They teach that through the craft of man salvation must be maintained, or it will be lost. The truth is you can't lose what was never yours in the first place.

The best the Arrow system can offer is but a temporary security. Advancing technology will soon make this 2 billion dollar system obsolete. It is only in the omnipotent God that real security can ever be eternal. It is this kind of security that will be offered the world through the coming Jewish Kingdom. It is this kind of eternal security that the Lord Jesus Christ offers to all who will come to Him.

Arafat Says Entire Jerusalem Will Be Palestinian Capital

PLO leader Yasser Arafat signed into PA law yesterday a resolution proclaiming the entire city of Jerusalem the capital of a future Palestinian state. PA parliament chief Abu Ala said that the move comes in response to the recent US Congressional resolution calling on the US State Department to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. During Israeli-Arab negotiations over the past several years, Palestinian Authority officials have called for the establishment of a Palestinian state with only “East Jerusalem” as a capital. It is now felt that Arafat has revealed his true intentions.

This must be the greatest statement of arrogance I have ever heard. Jerusalem appears in the Bible almost 1000 times. It is always within a Jewish cultural context. There is no way that the Jewishness of Jerusalem can be removed from the Biblical context. Yet, here is the most hateful anti-Jew alive today making this unbelievable statement that irregardless of what God has said over the past 4,500 years concerning Jerusalem that this little man with the big mouth is going to blatantly put his own brand on what has always been God's property. This is a great insult hurled at the God of the Bible, and to the generations of men who have recognized the uniqueness of the Bible throughout the ages. I believe Arafat has made the biggest blunder of his life by openly challenging the God of the Bible in this way.

I do not believe a Palestinian State should ever be contemplated by the US or Israel again! The idea that these Islamic Palestinian Arabs can openly brag of putting their brand on the God of the Bible is beyond my comprehension.

I must remind myself that it would have never been contemplated that God would have allowed sin filled men to do what they did to His only begotten Son at Calvary. I often find myself quite shortsighted in how magnificently God controls, and purposes His will over mankind. That being said, I'm still beyond myself when I see such arrogance manifested by Islam as it openly challenges the God of the Bible. The arrogance of these little men will all find satisfaction when the Judgment of God takes place. Know that the contemporary news coming from the Middle East is the history in the making of the Islamic challenge with it's Koran and god/Allah against the eternal creator God of the Bible. This is far more then just an Arab - Jewish conflict. This is far more then just a war on terrorism.

Jordanian engineers inspect bulge in Temple Mount

Jordanian engineers drilled into the bulge in the southern wall of Temple Mount on Monday, to take a sample for inspection after an informal agreement was reached between Israel and the Waqf, the Muslim religious trust that governs the Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem, to let the Jordanians do the work.

The bulge has aroused fears that the wall may collapse, but disagreements between Israel and the Waqf have prevented Israel's Antiquities Authority from testing the bulge and carrying out renovation work on it - and prevented the Waqf from doing the same.

A few weeks ago a Jordanian delegation canceled its visit due to last minute disagreements between Israel and the Waqf. The Jordanian delegation, headed by a senior Jordanian official, will be observed but not supervised by the Antiquities Authority.

Israel initiated the resumption of Jordan's involvement in Temple Mount, following the Waqf's refusal to let the Antiquities Authority carry out excavation works on the bulge on the southern wall. The Waqf and Israel relaxed their positions after the Antiquities Authority submitted a report stating the bulge was growing rapidly, and the southern wall could be in danger of collapse.

Israel warned that parts of the southern wall were in immediate danger of caving in, which could lead to the further collapse of parts of Solomon's Stables and the al Aqsa Mosque.

According to the Antiquities Authority, the bulge is now 190 meters long and at one point protrudes by as much as 70 centimeters. The authority has also pointed to "advanced erosion of the stones of the southern wall, creating a significant danger to the structure ... If the erosion is not taken care of it will contribute to the instability of the southern wall."

The Palestinians were quick to dedicate the latest 2-year uprising to the al-Aqsa mosque. The very symbol of their defiance is now endanger of falling into the pit of their own making. The Israeli's are wise to let the Jordanian engineers have unfettered access to this symbol of incompetence on the part of the Islamic Waqf. Islam wanted to focus the eyes of the world on how great is their Allah, the Koran, and their prophet Mohamed. The al-Aqsa mosque was made the symbol of Islam's dominance over Judaism, and the God of the Bible. This coming Ramadan was intended to climax their claims with close to a half million Islamic pilgrims coming to the Temple Mount. History was about to be rewritten by the Moslem clerics who are prepared to claim the Temple Mount is the Islamic Garden of Eden, and predates all other claims of sovereignty.

Now, the scientists have realized that all the zealot unauthorized, and unsupervised excavations done by Islam to prepare the undergrounds of the Mount to be a Grand Mosque has only undermined the surface of the Mount. The al-Aqsa mosque itself the symbol of the greatness of Allah is now endangered with imminent collapse. The influx of a half million Moslems, time, or an earthquake could quickly bring down the Islamic surface structures.

Islam has blundered by challenging the God of the Bible over the only place on planet earth that God allowed His house to be built.  The only place on planet Earth where God said blood sacrifice would be acceptable. The only place on planet Earth where His third house will be constructed for the coming Jewish Kingdom dispensation according to the Bible. The whole Mount needs to be cleared, purified, and prepared for the God of the Bible to accomplish His plans for the future glory of Israel! I don't know that this latest impending catastrophe will bring about this end, but I do know the Temple Mount belongs to the God of the Bible not the Allah of Islam!

EU gives green light for 10 countries to join

BRUSSELS (AFP) - The European Commission recommended the entry of 10 countries into the EU by 2004 in a historic enlargement that will for the first time see the continent freely united.

Thirteen years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the EU's executive arm gave the green light Wednesday for a reshaping of the 15-member bloc that will take it up to the borders of Russia.

Barring last-minute hitches -- including a Irish referendum later this month which in theory could derail the whole project -- the new members will join in time for European parliament elections in 2004.

The commission, in detailed assessment reports on the candidate countries, recommended the entry of Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.

But the report failed to give Turkey, a close US ally and NATO member, a date to start negotiations for entry while two poorer Balkan countries, Romania and Bulgaria, were cited as possible entrants in 2007.

"Enlargement is our political masterpiece because it will enable us to avoid all that. The cost of enlargement is nothing to the cost of non-enlargement," Commission president Romano Prodi told the European parliament.

Years ago there was much excitement among Bible scholars as the European Union was being formed. Many speculated that once the number hit 10 the antichrist would be revealed. Well, the number hit 10, and it  just keeps on going. Today, only the most pride filled still hold to those first speculations. History has proved it will not be the European Union in it's present form that will birth the antichrist. It is only the Bible that will prove right in the end. It is the Bible that says a confederacy of 10 Western nations will form out of which the antichrist will overthrow 3 emerging as the head of the Western world. It may prove the European Union is only one horn of these yet future kingdom confederacies? It may also prove true this present Union will reshuffle into entirely different confederacies? Whatever the future holds, the Bible will prove true in the end. The numbers 10 and 3 when applied to Western national confederacies will be the clear markers of the antichrist.

The present pending war on Iraq could reshuffle the deck of Nations? It will certainly create the atmosphere for new alliances being formed quickly.

The rapture of "born again" Christians out of the present Apostate Christian Church is next. America will become part of the past glories God has accomplished through the Lord Jesus Christ.  The future belongs to Israel! The future glory of Israel is the next dispensation as revealed in the Bible. It is the dispensation when the antichrist will be revealed. It all centers in Israel, at Jerusalem, upon the Temple Mount!

Saddam acquiring technology for 'long-range supergun'

Saddam Hussein has been acquiring the technology to build a long-range "supergun" capable of firing nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, German prosecutors allege.

The claim follows the charging of two Germans who allegedly bought cannon drilling equipment and shipped it to Iraq via Jordan four years ago.

The investigation into the Mannheim-based firm Alriwo began last year. Hubert Jobski, from the prosecutor's office, said yesterday other arrests were expected, and the two men under arrest could each be sentenced to 15 years if found guilty.

"We are convinced that from Mannheim the equipment went to Iraq," said Mr Jobski. "Others will be accused in the case, and we hope to wrap it up very soon."

The reasons why Iraq must be invaded continues to grow. It is God who sets the timing of events, and the timing for the demise of Saddam Hussein seems imminent. The world is quickly coming into the configuration the LORD always knew would come when this dispensation ends, and the next begins. Babylon (modern Baghdad 2 hour drive) has an economic boom coming. The God of the Bible has long ago said the home of the first world potentate King Nebuchadnezzar would again rise in the last days when dispensational change takes place! It may first have to be destroyed, but it will rise as the economic center of the entire world giving the antichrist the power source he will need to dominate the world.

Speculation on the compatibility of current events with the Old Testament prophesies are in constant flux as each new news item comes down the lines. Old speculations must be abandoned as history moves forward, and new insights are realized. I believe this is true with Ezekiel 38 & 39. I believe the old speculation of a Russian invasion of Israel by the Gog should be abandoned. I am convinced this is a description of the "Last Jihad" Islamic invasion of Israel. I believe there will be a Russian invasion of Israel as depicted in Zachariah 14 and Daniel 11. It will be at the end of the Great Tribulation in connection with Armageddon. The Invasion of Ezekiel 38 & 39 is a separate invasion yet to be witnessed by the world. The "Chief Prince" (Islamic breakaway republics of the old USSR) of the Gog from the land of Magog are the leaders of this all Islamic invasion which makes more sense as taking place at the beginning of the Great Tribulation freeing the Temple Mount from Islamic interests.

I believe this is the best speculation that can be made today in light of any attempt to find compatibility of current events with Bible prophecy!

NEW BULGE IN TEMPLE MOUNT

Another bulge in the Temple Mount wall has been discovered as Jordanian engineers who began tests on a 2-year-old bulge on the southern wall this week, have found a side signs of dampness on a section of the western wall causing it to protrude as well.

The latest swelling of the 2,000-year-old supporting wall is on its western side, to the right of the area where Jewish worshipers visit. The 10-meter bulge is in the archeological garden that abuts the Western Wall prayer area.

The area of the wall in question was visibly damp, even after Israel's long, dry summer. Informed sources say that the bulge, which looks like the one on the southern wall did two years ago, is likely the result of water dripping inside of the wall.

Unlike the southern wall, which has been turned into the largest mosque in Israel, the area near the western wall is unoccupied and a possible collapse there does not pose the danger that a collapse of the southern wall does. The Antiquities Authority declined to comment on the condition of the western supporting wall.

Fearing renewed violence, police have barred non-Muslims, including archeologists, from entering the Mount since Ariel Sharon's visit to the site in September 2000, leaving the area without archeological supervision.

 

These walls around the Temple Mount have stood for 2000 years. They were standing during the days of the Lord Jesus Christ, and He viewed these very stones on His many visits to the Temple Mount. Today, for the first time since the Lord Jesus Christ walked toward the Temple Mount the stones are beginning to move. Today, the Western Wall stands in the way of worshipping Jews and the Temple Mount itself. Today, for the first time the very stones in the Western Wall are beginning to move! I know it is natural sources combined with the incompetence on the part of the Moslem Waqf that has led to this movement, but I also know the timing of all these events is controlled by God.

The collapse of the Southern wall will clearly be due to the incompetence of the Moslem Waqf who illegally excavated around the Solomon Stables underground support area in their zealous efforts to build a Grand Mosque under the Temple Mount. This collapse could bring down the Mosque of Omar (really a shrine), and the al-Aqsa mosque the only other surface structure. The Moslem pit dug to enlarge the Solomon Stables support structure is large enough to cause the surface foundations of the Moslem structures to collapse along with the wall. It could all come down falling toward the East like a house of cards.

The bulge in the Western wall seems related to reports 2 or 3 weeks ago of a small water flow that only moistened the surrounding stone. Moisture is a lubricant, and no mortar was used in the construction of these massive blocks. The source of this new flow is still speculative.  Some feel it may be from the Moslem attempt to pump out the original cisterns located under the Mount. The idea is to seal them, and fill them with holy water from Mecca. Others relate to the coming flow predicted in the Bible that will be used to cleanse the altar of the millennial Temple from the continual blood sacrifices that will be offered to God daily.

The collapse  of the Western Wall is of greater importance from my perspective. It separates the Jews from the Temple Mount. Much as President Regan once said "bring down this wall" so I see that cry applied to the Western Wall. The Jews must be free to use the Temple Mount for all the future prophecies in the Bible to take place. I don't know that this flow will bring down the wall, or if the Jews themselves will tear it down. I prefer the Jews by their own free will be the source of it's removal. It would indicate changed hearts moving away from tradition, and toward the Bible!

The Recruitment of Children in Current Palestinian Strategy

From the outset of the current Palestinian intifada two years ago, children and teenagers have assumed an integral role. Knowing that Israeli soldiers are ordered not to shoot live ammunition at children, Palestinian snipers hide among youngsters or use them as shields. Three recent developments are also notable:

 

• Yasser Arafat's deputy, Abu Mazen, admitted to a Kuwaiti newspaper in June that Palestinian children have been paid 5 shekels (about $1) for every pipe bomb they throw.

• Children have been increasingly mobilized during 2002 for homicide attacks; their parents have received cash payments from the Palestinian Authority, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.

• The attempt at a cover-up: The Palestinian Journalists' Association has warned members that they would be punished if they photographed armed children.

Sacrificing Children

On March 30, 2002, a 16-year-old Palestinian girl named Ayat Akhras walked into a Jerusalem supermarket and detonated a bomb concealed under her clothing, killing two Israelis and wounding 22 others. On April 23, three teenagers - Anwar Hamduna, Yusef Zakut, and Abu Nada - from Gaza, attempted to crawl under the perimeter fence and attack the residents of the nearby Jewish community of Netzarim, only to be shot dead by guards. For over a month, Palestinian children as young as ten barricaded themselves in Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, alongside Palestinian gunmen. In May, a 16-year-old Palestinian boy was arrested in a taxi near Jenin with a suicide bomb on his body. On June 13, 2002, a 15-year-old Palestinian girl, arrested for throwing a firebomb at IDF soldiers, admitted during interrogation that she had previously been recruited as a suicide terrorist. On July 9, 2002, Israeli security forces arrested another 15-year-old Palestinian girl who admitted to having agreed to carry out a suicide¹ attack in Israel. These are some of the latest developments in the intifada, an unprecedented wave of ongoing attacks that has roiled the region for two years. From the outset, Palestinian children and teenagers have assumed an integral role.

When has a culture deteriorated to such a point that God must act in righteous retribution? America must answer for it's abortion policy, and Islam must answer for all the hate it has put in the hearts of it's own children. I see little difference in either culture when sacrificing children is the issue, and retribution from a sovereign God the only end to it all. I have read again and again that God is no respecter of persons. I know He is going to judge Islam for it's blatant sins against children, but I also know that same judgment must be applied to America. It is not a pleasant thing to contemplate. I read Ezekiel 39 and see the pride of Islam laying dead on the mountains and fields of Israel as fodder for the fowls and beasts. I read about the fall of Babylon, and see a picture of the pride of American wealth consumed in a single day. I know Ezekiel 39 will be literal, but the comparison of America to Babylon can only be figurative. A real Babylon is in the making this very day that will literally fulfill the prophecy. America is ready to pump billions into it's formation after the War on Terrorism ends, and America will make billions upon billions from such an investment.

It is left to the sovereign God of the Bible to do right for all the children sacrificed by both cultures. The end is clearly spelled out in the Bible. No power in heaven or earth can stop God from Judging all mankind. Guilty can be the only righteous decree if God is truly as pure and holy as the Bible portrays Him.

This present dispensation ends with Armageddon. The next Jewish Kingdom dispensation ends with the Great White Throne Judgment of all mankind. All will be raised to answer for sin. Only the blood of the sacrificed Lamb can save from final judgment!

The long road to Al-Aqsa

Last Friday, strict limits were placed once again on the number of Muslims allowed to attend prayers at Haram al-Sharif, the Temple Mount. Only those in possession of an Israeli ID card, and over the age of 40, were allowed in. Muslims can pray alone, but the Friday prayers also include weekly sermons and large numbers go to the great mosques. This time only a few hundred showed up.

The defense establishment had received warnings of plans for demonstrations and maybe terrorist attacks, and the ring of checkpoints around Jerusalem was tightened. A teacher from Qalandiya, which borders on north Jerusalem, says that on his way to Al Aqsa he encountered five checkpoints, with long delays at each one where he was examined by soldiers. Finally, he got fed up and went to the Sheikh Jarrah mosque, a few hundred meters away from the entrance to the Old City. Many more did the same. Residents from more distant neighborhoods of East Jerusalem say that for some time their mosques have been full, because people don't have the strength or wherewithal to go through the difficulties of reaching Al Aqsa.

Israel is expressing where the real sovereignty of the Temple Mount resides. That sovereignty is not in Islamic plans to convert the Mount into a Grand Mosque. Israel is demonstrating that no matter what Islam may claim; it is Israel that controls the Temple Mount.

Secular Israel is perplexed with what to do with this sovereignty. Currently, they only check Islam's attempts to wrestle away that sovereignty.  Soon, Israel must begin construction of the Third Jewish Temple. I doubt that such a task could ever be accomplished by secular Israel. The politics of world pressure make this impossible. All previous Temples needed spiritual Jews called specifically by God to accomplish the task. Every saved spiritual Jew today automatically becomes part of the Church, and will be ruptured from apostate Christianity with the true Church before the Kingdom age begins. These are good reasons why I don't expect the Temple to be built before the rapture.

The first Jews saved in Israel after the rapture according to the Bible are the Two Witnesses and the 144,000. I'm convinced the most pressing task for them will be to build the Third Jewish Temple. The Bible is clear that a kosher Temple will be up and operating 3 1/2 years into the Great Tribulation. I'm also convinced that the clarion call by these Two Witnesses will be enough to stir even secular Israel into action. The call will need be backed by proof of real sovereignty over the Mount. The fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39 at the beginning of the Great Tribulation which is the end of Islam would be no greater proof that God is claiming His sovereign right to the Temple Mount.

The preparations for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ are in the making today. Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount are all critical to His coming Kingdom. We will give testimony to all generations that we saw God miraculously restore the Jews to the Holy Land. We will also give testimony of the events leading up to the rapture of the Church from apostate Christianity before the Great Tribulation could begin.

Expert: Al-Qaida was undeterred by US operation in Afghanistan

The devastating bomb attacks in Bali, following hard on the heels of the terror attack on the French oil tanker off Yemen and the shooting of two US marines in Kuwait, have raised the specter of an al-Qaida revival.

A New York Times article on Sunday quoted senior American officials as saying that the incidents in Kuwait and involving the tanker, coupled with recently broadcast audio tapes purportedly made by Osama bin Laden and his closest lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri, signal the start of a new wave of terrorist operations and even a large-scale attack.

Dr. Shaul Shay, a research fellow at the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center's International Policy Institute for Counterterrorism, however, believes the threat from al-Qaida and its allies and offshoots never went away, despite the US-led war against it and its Taliban host in Afghanistan.
"The recent attacks do not constitute an al-Qaida revival but a continuation of what bin Laden defined as global jihad," he said.

"Al-Qaida and its affiliated groups and organizations remained active after the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington. It was simply an illusion on the part of those who thought that the US strike on Afghanistan would solve the whole problem.

This is holy war. The theology of Islam charges it's followers to posses the whole world. The theology of the Bible says that God will rule the whole world during the Kingdom Age. The two theologies are in conflict. The fundamental Christians wait on God. The fundamental Moslems are at war with any who will not bow down to Allah.

The end of this war will determine whether the Bible, or the Koran will be the book by which God reveals Himself. Sovereignty over the world is the fundamental issue being determined through this present conflict. The destruction of the Jews is fundamental to Islam's goal of world domination. Esau must regain the inheritance from Jacob if the Koran is true! The coming Jewish Kingdom ruled over by the Lord Jesus Christ is fundamental Christianity's vision of Biblical fulfillment through Jacob. Fundamental Christianity understands that vanity has overtaken the gospel call, and realize that true revival is now of the past. The world is only going to get worse. The rapture out of Apostate Christianity is a fundamental doctrinal position. The real love of turning the other cheek, and loving the enemy with gospel fervor that marked the great doctrinally correct Christian fundamental missionaries of the past will find new residence in the hearts of many Jews in the future. The next dispensation is at hand! The time for the LORD of hosts to engage in the battle for the world is the Biblical answer to this conflict.

The war is engaged on the Islamic side. The sniper attacks around Washington has caused many to wonder if Islamic fundamentalism is behind such animalistic behavior? I look at what the fundamental Moslems are doing to the Jews in Israel, and see the same wild animal behavior as exhibited by the belt-way sniper. All societies have wild animals that could be released on their enemies. The Palestinian Authority is an example of what happens when such decisions are made. All of Islam is becoming infected with this plague which can only end in self destruction as the holy God of the Bible is forced into battle.

A false peace after the War on Terrorism is what I expect to happen soon. There will be a numbing effect on mankind as world leaders spin this lie into a false sense of security without need of God. It will only lead to Armageddon!

Hevron - Now And Forever

Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Army Radio today that, "security permitting," he plans to withdraw IDF forces from Hevron by the end of the week. The move would come as part of the new "Judea First" plan introduced by Foreign Minister Shimon Peres. An extension of the failed "Gaza and Bethlehem First" plan, "Judea First" calls for the transfer of security control throughout Judea to the Palestinian Authority's security establishment.

Ben-Eliezer, speaking from France, said that Israeli officials had already notified PA representatives about the intended Hevron withdrawal. Arutz-7 correspondent Haggai Seri notes that while Prime Minister Sharon expressed his opposition to the "Judea First" plan during the Cabinet meeting on Sunday, he did not overrule its implementation.

A spokesman for the Hevron Jewish Community had harsh words for Defense Minister Ben-Eliezer, saying he "is willing to literally sacrifice Israeli lives for his own political gain. Transfer of Hevron back to Arafat-terrorists is tantamount to cold-blooded murder... Less than three weeks ago, a Jewish man was shot and killed in cold blood, while three of his children were injured, here in Hevron... Only a few days ago, terrorists massively attacked the Tel Romeida neighborhood, shooting from the Harat a-Sheikh hills... The IDF [then] was prepared to fight back, on the spot. What will happen when those hills are solely occupied by terrorists, without an IDF presence? The answer is crystal clear. Secular Israel continues to let politics rule when Jewish sovereignty over major religious sites are at issue. Hebron is the site where Father Abraham purchased the first piece of Jewish soil in the Holy Land. The Biblical implications of Jews regaining the Cave of Machpelah is miraculous. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob regains a prominence that it could have no other way as long as Hebron remains under Jewish control. A Biblical move back to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob comes closer to being realized. The Jews have long ago left their roots for traditions, good works, mystical approaches to the Bible, and secular apathy. God is pressing His will on the resistant secular Judaism of today.

We live in the days when God has miraculously returned the Jews to the Holy Land. It is as miraculous as was the first entrance as prophesied by Joseph on his death bed in Egypt. There was a generation of Jews who had to die in the wilderness because they lacked trust and faith. The first of a new generation are beginning to replace the old guard. These are Jews born in Israel after it became a sovereign nation. It could be this generation that will have the boldness to turn their backs on tradition, and toward the Biblical God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! Jewish hearts must change!

Christian generosity becomes a rabbinical nightmare

Debate has raged among American Jews about their new alliance with evangelical Christians, who in the past two years have shown themselves to be Israel's most vocifeous supporters in the United States (maybe in the world). The issue has recently reached the Chief Rabbinate Council in Israel.

Two weeks ago, the council decided to form a special committee of four members - Rabbi Simha Hacohen Kook, Moshe Rauchberger, Shmuel Eliyahu and Yehuda Deri - to look into the Jerusalem Friendship Fund. This fund distributes large amounts of money contributed by evangelical Christians the help Jews immigrate to Israel, as well as for their absorption and for welfare organizations - $15 million in the past year alone - and for Jewish communities in the Diaspora (especially in the former Soviet Union and Argentina).

The committee will have to decide if there is any religious problem in accepting this money, because among the recipients of the fund are a number of religious organizations. They include a network of soup kitchens, Meir Panim, established by ultra-Orthodox journalist Dudi Silberschlag; the ultra-Orthodox Zaka (Identification of Victims of Disaster) organization, which removes bodies and body parts after terror attacks and other disasters, and numerous other charity organizations.

Rehovot's chief rabbi, Rabbi Simcha Hacohen Kook, who raised the issue with the Chief Rabbinate Council, says: "I am ashamed that this kind of money is currently being accepted by Torah-observant Jews."

Kook maintains that from the material that has been brought to his attention, there is a clear missionary intention behind the fund. "[Rabbi Yechiel] Eckstein [founder and president of the Jerusalem Friendship Fund] is a close friend of Pat Robertson, the greatest missionary preacher in the world." He says that even if direct missionary work by the fund is not involved, accepting evangelical money is wrong because it comes from people who believe, according to their Messianic vision, that Israel will ultimately disappear with one-third of world Jews converting to Christianity and the other two-thirds being destroyed.
 

The Chief Rabbinate Council of Israel has good reason to look for ulterior motives attached to all this Evangelical Christian social gospel money flowing into these humanitarian institutions. The red flag is the name of the Southern Baptist Pat Robertson. They call him the greatest missionary preacher in the world. The Jews fear that by perceived good works he will win the gullible into becoming Charismatic Christians. They rightly identify his theology that the coming Kingdom will be the phony tongues (ecstatic utterance) type of Christianity with Charismatic healers giving out words of knowledge over the TV about folks who received a phony healing, and that they should claim that healing with check book in hand. Robertson has duped the Southern Baptist denomination as well as main stream Christianity, and will dupe the Jews if given the same opportunity.

The riches of today's Evangelical Christianity has become astronomical since the Charismatics came on the scene. $15 million is but a drop in the bucket to them. Pat Robertson could write such an amount from his own personal check book. Every penny he's made has been by using the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal platform. I'm always reminded of the money changers who used God's Temple to make personal fortunes, and what Christ's attitude was, and is toward them.

The coming Kingdom will be based on Biblical Judaism not apostate Christian theology. Pat Robertson will be the first to turn on the Biblical Jews when they come on the scene because they will expose the Charismatics as false. They will denounce the phony tongues of the Charismatics as nothing more then vanity. It is another gospel that adds to the salvation message of Christ and Christ alone. The Biblical Jews will reaffirm it is simple faith in Christ from a circumcised heart that is the only way to salvation. The Biblical Jews will build the Third Jewish Temple, and stand against the apostate Christian Church left behind after the rapture as the enemy of God.

U.S. plan includes international conference in fall of 2003

The three-stage diplomatic "road map" drawn up by the United States and presented to Israeli officials accompanying Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on his Washington trip, includes the convening of an international conference in the fall of 2003, at which negotiations on establishing a temporary Palestinian state will begin. These talks are to be completed in 2004.

The plan, which was presented Wednesday by Assistant Secretary of State William Burns to Sharon's bureau chief, Dov Weisglass, focuses on how to ease tensions with the Palestinians and eventually restart diplomatic talks.

The first stage involves reform of the Palestinian Authority, culminating in elections aimed at moving Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat into a purely symbolic role. The reform process will be accompanied by Israeli measures to ease the Palestinians' humanitarian distress.

After that, the international conference will be convened. The final stage will be talks on a permanent-status agreement, which will be concluded in 2005-2006.

An Israeli source said this plan is acceptable to Israel, since it sets performance benchmarks rather than a rigid timetable.

Washington sources added that the timing of the international conference is convenient for Sharon, assuming that elections are held as scheduled in November 2003, since it would allow him to go into the election with a diplomatic achievement, but would postpone actual negotiations until after the vote.

The United States plans to present the "road map" to its partners in the Quartet - the European Union, Russia and the United Nations - in a meeting set for next week. The Quartet has compiled a different plan, which calls for the earlier establishment of a Palestinian state within temporary borders and a final-status agreement by 2005.

Bush said Wednesday he was sending Burns to the region to advance the new "road map."

This "road map" may be well intended, but it is based on politics. It is doomed to fail because they leave out the most important party - that being the God of the Bible. It is God who promised the Holy Land to the Jews. His intentions are very clear in the Bible, but the politicians ignore what the Bible says. The whole world would like to forget what God says in the Bible. It is God who forced His will on everyone by placing the Jews back in the Holy Land after World War Two. His plan can't be stopped, or compromised by anyone, or anything. It matters not what Russia, the European Union, the United Nations, the USA, or secular Israel may want;  It will be what God has already decreed in the Bible at the end.

The "road map" has already been written. It takes no mind to the politics of the world. It concentrates on sin, and God's single solution to sin which is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming again, and all the armies of the world are helpless to stop Him. Dispensational change is at hand, The Church age is about to end, and the glory of Israel about to be revealed. The 1000-year Jewish Kingdom is where God plotted His "road map" to be heading.

The world did it's best to ignore the local attacks that the Jews have faced over the years. There was a very smug attitude that the Jews were getting what they deserved. God has a way of dealing with smugness when it comes to His chosen people. The whole world is finding out what it feels like to live victimized by these Moslem terrorists. The local has gone global, and the world squirms in agony. What is happening in Israel can no longer be ignored. The whole world has been drawn into the struggle.

The Bible is the guide to what God is doing, and where this struggle is heading. Israel, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount have become center to worldwide wonder. Dispensational change is the key that opens the understanding. The coming Jewish Kingdom is the door that is about to open.

The pain the Jews have suffered is now being experienced by the world. The Bible says that through great tribulation will the Jews turn back to their God. They will turn to their Jewish Messiah. The Apostate Christian messiah in that day will be the antichrist. The Jews will turn back to their God for relief; The world will turn to the antichrist for relief!

The battle for the Bible will be reduced to two when Ezekiel 39 takes out the seed of Esau and Ishmael. The battle will leave only one after Armageddon. It will be the Jewish Kingdom that will survive because they alone will humble themselves by forsaking all, and turning back to their God. I'm sure there will be a few gentile proselytes, but it will be a Jewish Kingdom that passes through the pain of the Great Tribulation to rule the world.

US considers Israeli proposal to disarm Iraqi missiles

WASHINGTON - The Bush administration is weighing an Israeli proposal for a joint operation in Iraq's western desert to disarm Iraqi missiles before they could be launched against Israel.

If successful, the operation might not only protect Israeli civilians from an Iraqi attack like the one they weathered in the 1991 Persian Gulf War but eliminate the troublesome prospect of an Israeli retaliatory attack on Iraq.

Under the proposal, which would involve American special forces troops, Israel would furnish the United States with intelligence about the sites and how to disarm them early in the conflict.

The idea was presented during Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's talks in Washington this week with President Bush and senior White House, Pentagon and State Department officials.

Afterward, both sides said Sharon had received assurances the United States would make a maximum effort to reduce any threat to Israel posed by Iraq.

The Israeli plan was not announced, but an account was provided to The Associated Press on Friday by a U.S. official on condition of anonymity.

Search continues for downed Navy crews

POINT SUR, California (AP) -- The U.S. Coast Guard continued to search the ocean Saturday for four Navy aviators missing after two fighter jets collided during a combat exercise Friday.

Two cutters looked for the pilots through the night and at first light Saturday, an HH-65 Dolphin helicopter was sent to aid the search about 80 miles southwest of Monterey, Coast Guard spokeswoman Veronica Bandrowski said.

"We'll continue to search until all probability of survival has been exhausted," she said.

Computer-aided search programs, which calculate sea changes, wind and other factors, are guiding searchers over about 40 square miles where the pilots may have drifted.

I was very surprised to read this communication about disarming Scud missiles before launching. It seems to me they are leaving the barn door wide open. I'm afraid there is an overconfidence setting in that this war with Iraq will be too easy. We forget how smug we were before 9/11, and I worry we will not look to God for our victory. It is always a mistake to look at the arm of our flesh, and think we don't need God. The first Gulf war, and Afghanistan were miraculous in the low amount of American casualties. Christians prayed for justice, and God answered. I only hope and pray we have not become too self reliant.

One of the crew of the two F-18's that crashed near California yesterday has relatives in our Church. It brings home the pending war in a very personal way. It makes me realize the hurt of just one American casualty. We go to war with a people who have no regard for human life. They only know hate! They are taught hate from baby to adult. Hate the Jew! Hate the Jew lovers! God is preparing the way for the next dispensation of the Jewish Kingdom. It will not come easy! Sacrifice will be required. The Lord Jesus Christ gave His life in a most painful way so the door of eternal life would be open to Jew and Gentile alike. The Gentile Church age is coming to an end. It was a glorious era. Many gave of their lives with selfless devotion to their Savior. At the rapture it will all be of the past. The future belongs to Israel. The future glory of Israel can only come through Great Tribulation. The future sacrifices will be greater yet, but the victory in the end will be that much sweeter. Eternal life is the reward for all who live or die in Christ!

SIX PALESTINIANS KILLED IN BATTLE OVER WEAPONS-TUNNEL

At least 6 Palestinians were killed and many others injured as Israeli bulldozers attempted to seal off a weapons smuggling tunnel on the Gaza/Egyptian border on Thursday.

The events, hotly disputed by both sides, were met with international condemnation last night - with US Secretary of State Colin Powell and EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solano demanding greater Israeli restraint.

Initially, press reports suggested 8 Palestinians were killed including two children, but by Friday morning AP and Reuters had confirmed the death toll at only 6. As many as 50, however, are believed to have been wounded, many seriously.

The incident began when Palestinian snipers opened fire with rifles and grenades at bulldozers working to prevent the digging of tunnels used to smuggle weapons from Egypt into Gaza. The terrorists then fired an anti-tank rocket, which damaged one vehicle. Soldiers fired three tank shells toward the buildings from which the gunmen had fired. According to Palestinian reports, the tanks fired "randomly" at houses in the area after coming under attack, several houses were damaged, including a UNWRA school, and scores of civilians were hit.

The area has been riddled with smuggling tunnels that the IDF tries to uncover and to block with walls planted into the ground. The troops yesterday were at work on such a wall when the fighting broke out. The IDF said it would continue the work today.
 

Burns reports progress on plan for Palestinian state

U.S. Middle East envoy William Burns said Sunday that the quartet of international mediators had made significant progress on a peace plan that set out steps toward a Palestinian state alongside Israel.

Burns told reporters that the "Middle East Quartet" - the United States, the European Union, Russia and the United Nations - were finally making real progress after months of consultations on a three-year plan for setting up a Palestinian state.

"We are working very hard with our partners in the quartet on the elements of a road map that translates that [two-state vision] into a reality," said Burns, speaking in the Red Sea port of Aqaba before leaving for the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Burns said it would give both Palestinians and Israelis "renewed hope that a two-state outcome is going to be produced."
 

A two-state vision is the false peace plan that excludes God. The Palestinians have let the wild men of their culture rule. Palestinian freedom is only a secondary issue. The aim of the wild men is to kill and torture Jews. The tunnels supply the wild men with the weapons they need to kill Jews. The snipers, the suicide murderers, the terrorists of all hues receive a surplus of supplies from the Islamic world. I can only imagine how those supplies will flow once the Palestinians have their own state. This two-state vision is something that only politicians could come up with. It is beyond stupidity. Yet, it will be spun as if real peace is at hand? The grand plan for concluding the War on Terrorism will no doubt have this two-state vision as its cornerstone. It is this kind of false peace that will lead the whole world to Armageddon.

God has His own plan to solve the Middle East crises. The unrepentant Palestinians along with the Islamic suppliers of death will find their end on the mountains and fields of Israel. Ezekiel 39 reveals a "Last Jihad" invasion of Israel that runs right into the wrath of the God of the Bible. A one-state vision is what God has said will be the future for the Holy Land. A Jewish Kingdom pure, and undefiled will rule the earth. The only perfect man who ever walked the planet will be the Jewish King when the next dispensation is realized. There will be no room for false gods, false books, false prophets, or false religions. Perfect righteousness will bring in perfect peace for 1000-years.
