UK softens line on European presidency

Britain is preparing to back a compromise deal with its European partners on the key question of who runs the European Union, and how it is represented on the world stage.

Tony Blair, British prime minister, is set to drop his opposition to the idea that the president of the European Commission be elected by the European Parliament. In exchange, he will demand the European Council - the forum for national leaders - is also headed by a powerful appointed leader.

The idea has been discussed privately by Joschka Fischer and Peter Hain - Germany and Britain's representatives on the convention on Europe's future.

"We could live with an elected Commission president, provided we also get a strong chairman of the European Council," said a British diplomat.

France and Germany are also seeking a compromise to the question of whether Brussels can accommodate two leaders, and aim to publish their proposals in January to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty between the two countries.

Paris is a strong supporter of the idea of an EU president, while Germany is a supporter of a strong Commission, and a federal structure.

The Franco-German paper on Europe's institutional arrangements could prove decisive.

Gerhard Schröder, Germany's chancellor, has indicated he would support an EU president, provided the Commission and its president were also strengthened.

Romano Prodi, Commission president, published a paper in early December proposing that his successors be elected in a secret ballot of MEPs, with the choice confirmed by EU leaders.

He believes the plan would give Commission presidents more authority and legitimacy, and the ability to stand up to any EU president representing member states - a proposal he strongly opposes.

Britain has criticised Mr Prodi's plan, on the grounds that the Commission president would lose impartiality and could become an overtly political figure. London still formally opposes a Commission president enhanced through election but British diplomats admit they are prepared to soften their position.

Mr Blair is strongly in favour of a strong president of the European Council - some have suggested he would be a candidate - to become the driving force for Europe, as well as representing it on the world stage.

Britain's willingness to strengthen the Commission is seen as vital if it is to persuade smaller member states to drop their fierce opposition to the creation of an EU president which they fear would favour big countries, and disrupt the institutional balance between the Commission and European Council.

 

The desire for a European presidency will soon translate into a desire for a Western world president, and from that form will come the antichrist. The future prospect for the world will be presidents or kings of the North, South, East, and West. Each of these major geographical areas will see the advantage of consolidating into these kingships for their economic interests much as Europe is now doing. It is the president, king, or the last Caesar of the West that will dominate the world of the Great Tribulation. It will be into that world of kingdoms that little Israel will declare it's own Kingdom in anticipation of their returning Messiah/King destine to be King of kings. The conflict of Kingdoms is the road to Armageddon, and final victory for the Jewish Kingdom which will be the only survivor at the final judgment of this age ending forever Gentile rule of planet earth.

The year 2003 appears to be significant in events that will change the face of the Middle East. It is the Holy Land that stands at the center of East, West, North, and South. The world has stated it's "road map" to peace which ignores what God has revealed in the Bible. The coming peace aimed at ending the "War on Terrorism" is destine to fail because they have left out God. The secular Jews seem intent on selling out the sovereignty God has given them over the Temple Mount for this false peace. It will take prophets in the likeness of Haggai and Zechariah to stir Israel into fulfilling the purpose for which God called the Jews back to the Holy Land. That purpose being the building, and kosher worship within the Third Jewish Temple. My personal feelings are that this will be the great testimony of the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11. Their testimony will be the remembrance of the blood of Christ shed at Calvary through reinstituting Old Testament Judaism as it was always intended to be.  The revival of the book of Leviticus pointing to Christ as the only acceptable sacrifice for sin as will be exemplified on the altar of the Third Jewish Temple.

Could Saudi Arabia’s have-nots spark a revolution?

 

Parts of oil-rich Saudi Arabia are as shockingly poor as Somalia -- or so claim the harshest critics of the ruling Al-Saud family. According to the calculations of an active Saudi dissident living in exile, three trillion dollars have been generated mostly by oil over the past 30 years in the Gulf kingdom. Yet, he asserts, only $800 billion-$1 trillion have been reinvested into the country. "So where has that two trillion dollars gone?" asks the dissident, speaking to The Report on condition of anonymity.

He blames Saudi’s ills on the corruption of the ruling class. While one Saudi princess flies her hairdresser over from Europe first class, and pays him $5,000 a cut, he claims that in Hafr al-Batin, 50 kilometers from the Kuwait border, 60,000 people are living in shacks with no electricity, sewerage and only minimal food.

With the United States heading into another Gulf war, Saudi Arabia, its longtime ally, may be heading into trouble. Simon Henderson, a London-based Gulf specialist with the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, says that those who view Saudi as a rock of stability and a reliable friend of the United States constitute "an increasingly small minority among Western analysts. If you were to try to apply Marxist-Leninist theory to an Islamic Beduin society," he goes on, Saudi might be said to be in "a pre-revolutionary situation."

The petroleum-hazy halcyon days are over. Saudi Arabia’s soaring population now numbers over 22 million, including 5 million foreign nationals, compared with about 6 million 30 years ago. This, together with fluctuations in the oil market over the past two decades and corruption on a royal scale, is bringing the kingdom to the brink of bankruptcy, the dissident says.

With an annual population growth rate of well over 3 percent, similar to Gaza and Uganda, Saudi Arabia’s government-owned infrastructure is increasingly stretched. The government is no longer able to provide everybody with a job and the private sector prefers to hire foreigners, notes Gregory Gause, a political scientist and Saudi expert at the University of Vermont. While there are no official figures, 20-30 percent of Saudis of working age are said to be jobless. Yet over 4 million foreigners are employed as menial laborers, middle managers and oil executives.

The government is also facing a disaffected underclass of angry Saudi youths committed to Islamic extremism, a native Bin-Ladenist militancy of the kind that spawned 15 of the 19 hijackers of 9/11.

 

The internal woes of Saudi Arabia could well cause a revolt once democracy comes to the Arabs of the Middle East. The militants will become more militant, but the prospect of freedom may be the greater influence. The prospect of wealth from the oil revenues squandered by the sheiks may encourage many Saudis to empower themselves in democratic fervor. The continuation of the tongue in cheek opposition to the militants would be expected by me because hate for the Jews will not change with freedom. The only difference would be it coming from an Arab Democracy rather then the former despots. A union of Saudis oil and Iraqi oil once Iraq is freed from Saddam may well produce a super economic power that the world has not contemplated? This time the war with Iraq may well have face changing implications for the Middle East! The antichrist (king of the West) with his anti-Semitic attitude would open the door to an adulteress affair of Arab Democracy and Western interests.  The Bible says in the end the antichrist murders all those who go a whoreing with him.

The post rapture world of the Great Tribulation seems close at hand. The support of the United States for Israel could change as fast as the next election. The removal of the Holy Spirit from the Gentile Church at the rapture will undoubtedly bring change in American political will. The West is ready for the antichrist to lead it into a false peace based on the prospect of economic prosperity that will promise worldly wealth for all who join in agreement.

A spiritual awakening among the Jews after the rapture would bring a return to the Bible, and a call to the humble, meek, and lowly. It would bring a mandate from God to build the Third Jewish Holy Temple. Blood sacrifice for sin would again be honored on the Altar of the Jews in remembrance of Calvary as it used to look forward to Calvary. The Lord Jesus Christ would mo longer be the God of the Gentile Church, but would assume His rightful roll as the Davidic King of the Jews.

Arms from Iraq caused blast at Hezbollah base'

Western intelligence analysts believe that an explosion at a Hezbollah base in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley on Monday resulted from the use of weapons smuggled from Iraq.

The precise character of the weapon remains unclear.

Following the explosion, Lebanese sources reported on a strong blast at a Hezbollah training base near the town of Jinta. Hezbollah closed off the area and barred media crews from entering it. Ambulances approached the town, but it is not clear whether their crews treated any wounded. At this stage, the number of persons hurt by the explosion remains unknown.

Hezbollah often follows a policy of withholding information about casualties. This was its standard policy during its years of warfare against the Israel Defense Forces in southern Lebanon.

Western intelligence experts believe that the explosion was connected to an Iraqi arms shipment that reached Hezbollah a few days before Monday's blast. Two different explanations might account for the explosion. According to one theory, it resulted from a test that Hezbollah attempted with one of the weapons, perhaps a trial missile launch. Alternatively, a mishap might have occurred when Hezbollah tried to store the arms in a bunker.

Last week, Ha'aretz reported that Iraq gave Hezbollah medium-range missiles. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said last week that Israel believes Iraq also transferred chemical and biological weapons to Syria in order to keep them from the attention of United Nations inspectors. The claim

that Baghdad is hiding nonconventional weapons in Syria is being investigated, but it has yet to be verified conclusively, a senior Israeli security official said yesterday.

ISRAEL STUDIES LATEST VERSION OF ROAD MAP

Israel is studying the third draft of the famed "road map," but will withhold a formal response to the plan until after the elections, according to diplomatic sources.
 

 

Hezbollah backed by Iran (Old Persia) may well prove to be the greater threat to Israel in 2003. The fall of Iraq will change militant Islam. Already, Iraq is moving weapons to the other militants in anticipation of the American invasion. The wild man of Iraq may soon be caged, but his Islamic hate for the Jews will only be transferred to other outlets. The bounties paid the families of suicide bombers may end, but Saddam will still find pleasure in his weapons being used to torture and kill the Jews of Israel.

The "road map" to peace in the Middle East will be more spin then reality. The world is ready for the propaganda blitz. A solution to the Middle East conflict is what people want to hear even if it is a lie! Secular Israel is first in line. They seem willing to give up much of the Holy Land for a Palestinian State. They seem ready to turn over large parts of Jerusalem to the heathen for hope in a false peace. Worst of all, they seem ready to throw away the sovereignty God has given them over His Holy Mount to their greatest enemy since the Nazi years.

The fall of Saddam seems destine to bring about an even greater calamity then any have contemplated. It is providence at work. There is no way the events now in motion can be stopped. The ultimate end will be the establishment of the Jewish Kingdom, and return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gentile era is ending in dispensational change. It is God's "road map" that providence follows!

PM: Syria, Hezbollah,Iran train together

The Syrian army has held joint maneuvers with Hezbollah along with units of the Iranian revolutionary guards in Lebanon. This information was conveyed by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to visiting Republican Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania.

Sharon said the exercises were proof of the problematic cooperation on the Syrian-Iranian-Hezbollah axis.

Specter has had close contacts with Damascus over the past 20 years since the time when he participated in negotiations for the release of the American hostages in Lebanon.

Sharon said that "if he [Syrian President Bashar Assad] felt isolated in the international community because of his support for terror, and if there was a political and economic price to pay for this, perhaps his policy would change. But so long as he is allowed the benefit of the doubt, he has no reason to stop supporting terror."

To this, Specter replied that he had always told the Syrians it was unthinkable they should support the killing of innocent civilians. The Syrians believe that Israel has 7,000 armed civilians on the Golan Heights, he added.

Sharon said he was prepared to renew negotiations with Syria without prior conditions. When Specter asked if he could convey this to Assad, Sharon answered in the affirmative.

"I'd be happy to visit Damascus and I'd be happy for [Assad] to come to Jerusalem," Sharon added.

 

It had been reported earlier that many al-Qaida terrorists fled from Afghanistan to Lebanon. The hate for Jews is now uniting al-Qaida with Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah. It is here that the greatest potential threat to Israel is forming. The pending attack on Iraq might better be aimed at the inclusion of Lebanon? The face of the Middle East is about to make a major change. Democracy among the Arabs will have undeterminable consequences. I suspect the militant Islamic's will become even more fanatical. I suspect the more moderate democratized Arabs will play the same game that the Saudi sheiks now play supporting the militants while officially claiming hands off.

I know a false peace is coming to Israel. I know an Islamic invasion of Israel is close at hand if Ezekiel 38 & 39 are going to be fulfilled during our generation. I can see how the Third Jewish Holy Temple can come as the aftermath of such a "Last Jihad"  invasion bringing utter humiliation to Islam, and an end to Islamic influence in the Holy Land! The rise of a literal Babylon as described in Revelation representing worldly wealth for the greedy seems tied to the pending fall of Saddam Hussein. The antichrist will find the means of controlling the world through the union of Western technology with Middle East oil. Babylon will offer untold wealth through greed while a spiritually awakened Jerusalem will offer eternal life to the meek and lowly.

The stage seems set as God's providential hand orchestrates the end of the Gentile Church dispensation, and the ushering in of the Jewish Kingdom age!

US senator says Mideast peace possible with Palestinian reforms

CAIRO, Egypt - Israeli-Palestinian peace can be attained only with Palestinian Authority reform and an end to violence, US lawmaker Arlen Specter said Friday.

Speaking to reporters at the US Embassy in Cairo, Specter also said Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat must step down from power as evidence exists that he supports terrorism.

Specter, a Republican senator from Pennsylvania, said if reforms occur, "I think the international donor community could put up a great deal of money to rebuild the Palestinian Authority and to compensate Israel for Israel's losses."

While saying the Palestinian Authority has to decide for itself what form of government it wants, Specter said "I think Arafat has to step aside."

The Bush administration has shunned Arafat, denouncing him as a failed leader for failing to end suicide bombings and shooting attacks against Israelis. Arafat has condemned suicide bombings against Israeli targets, which often draw heavy Israeli reprisals.

Specter arrived in Cairo from Israel for talks Friday with Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher.

Egypt, a longtime mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, has been hosting a number of Palestinian factions - including the Palestinian militant group Hamas and Arafat's mainstream Fatah movement - in talks aimed at forging a common Palestinian position for dealing with Israel.

Expanded talks between the different Palestinian factions are expected to be held in Cairo Sunday. There was no official confirmation of the date yet.

Maher has said earlier this week that the upcoming talks were aimed at modifying the Palestinian uprising, not ending it. He denied reports an Egyptian cease-fire plan was being discussed.

 

A face saving man-made peace plan seems destine to be part of the "road map" to Middle East peace. The world wants to hear words of peace so badly that voices more vicious then Arafat will be given credence for just saying the word peace. Only the foolishness of man could come up with such a ridiculous plan. It is like trusting Hitler to be a man of peace all over again. The hate of Hamas and Fatah can only be turned off in the minds of foolish men who have lost sight of reality. Chamberlain brokered a peace with the Nazis that the world exalted as brilliant until Hitler invaded Poland. The world found Hitler did not keep his words of peace, and the same lesson is about to repeat itself because Islamic hate for the Jews is beyond repentance or reconciliation.

Money is the politicians answer to everything. Their plan is to pour money over the festering soar that Islam has inflicted on itself by teaching the culture to hate Christians and Jews. Money will never prove a salve for healing when the infection runs as deep as Islam has inserted and nurtured it. Islam's hate will never allow them to turn to a Jewish King and His Kingdom! The "road map" plotted in the Bible is the one path that Islam has done all it possibility can to close. Allah and Mohamed forbid turning to Christ for salvation, and even more reprehensible is Christ King of the Jews. A political solution to this theological problem is just not going to happen.

There is no doubt what Islam would do to the Jews if they had the power. There is no doubt what Islam would do to the Lord Jesus Christ were they able!

Some Honoring Internet's 'Birthday'

NEW YORK - Happy birthday?, Internet. By some accounts, Wednesday marked the 20th anniversary of the online medium.

t was on Jan. 1, 1983, that the 400 or so computers hooked to what was then called ARPANET had to switch to a communications protocol called TCP/IP, said Vint Cerf, the protocol's co-inventor.

It was TCP/IP that allowed multiple networks to coexist and permitted applications like the World Wide Web to develop and thrive. In other words, it made the Internet what it is today.

"This is a major milestone," Cerf said. "I consider the January 1983 date to be the real rollout of (the) Internet."

Some, however, consider the Internet's age to be a more mature 33.

On Sept. 2, 1969, two computers at the University of California, Los Angeles, linked by a 15-foot cable, sent data back and forth, showing that the Internet could work.

Sure, the protocol didn't permit non-ARPANET computers to join in, the way America Online and private corporate networks can today. But it affirmed packet switching, the idea that data could be chopped into small packets and reassembled at the destination, giving the Internet its versatility.

 

Twenty years is not a long time, yet how quickly the world can change as 911 has proved! Bill Gates became one of the richest men of all time by spearheading the computer age.  The antichrist will be a like-ability man who will control the riches of the Great Tribulation. His source of this great world controlling wealth can develop very quickly.  The whole world can also adjust quickly to such earth shattering changes. Technology that was incomprehensible to all but a few visionaries can easily overwhelm the world once again. The mystery behind 666 can become common acceptable knowledge in short time. The wonders of the false prophet have a ready audience among this mystic minded generation from New Age mystic spiritual guides, to the Roman Catholic mystic priesthood, and on into the modern Charismatic mysticism of signs and wonders. A world that wants anything, but the Biblical Christ seems here right now ready to adjust to the wonderments of the Great Tribulation.

The voice of yesterday's fundamentalists who stood against all the falsehood that is now common place in today's Christianity have been silenced by a lukewarm Church generation. Most of the leadership has been bewitched by numbers rather then standing on the truth. I'm convinced in their zeal to reach the world with the gospel that most Christian leaders sacrificed doctrine to count the numbers. The face of Christianity changed as a result! Revivals today are different from revivals of the past that separated the "born again" from apostasy through knowledge of Bible doctrine. Today's revivals must now include the same apostates for the sake of numbers. Today's revivals would amount to nothing were adherence to Bible doctrine the measurement of success. Today's revivals claiming billions reached are the product of spin rather then true numbers of verified "born again" believers. The time for dispensational change is clear to me. The Biblical Christ must be reintroduced to a world gone into apathy by today's lukewarm spin crazed Christianity!

It is from the Jews that earth shattering change must come. It is to the Jews who return to the Bible that dispensational change has the prospect of real revival in the coming world of the Great Tribulation! Only the Jews will be able to stand up against mystic minded Apostate Christianity during the time of the Great Tribulation!

"I know why he did it," she continued. "It was because of all the campaign contributions he got from Enron."

When Streisand learned what Frum did for a living, she released a disdainful "Ewwwwwww."

'"The snows on top of Mount Kilimanjaro are melting. There's no disagreement about that," Streisand argued.

Frum: "Look, I don't know about that. I'm no kind of expert on climate change. But, Miss Streisand, I strongly suspect that neither are you. For you, this is religion, not science."

Streisand looked at Frum with "utter revulsion."

"I know what I'm talking about. I give a lot of money to environmental causes," she huffed and left Frum standing.

Streisand has it right! The snows of Kilimanjaro are melting, and this coming from me who sees through the global warming alarmists! What she hasn't said is that the snows on most mountain peaks have been melting ever since records were made on snow melt. I spent many years in Montana, and everyone there knows the glaciers in Glacier National Park have been melting, and receding since the eyes of man have first observed them. The ice caves are also going the same direction as the glaciers of Montana. Something Chicken Little New Yorkers now suddenly believe is proof the sky is falling! I remember seeing a photograph of John Muir standing at the base of a glacier. The base of that glacier is now some 30 miles back up the valley from the spot where the picture was taken. That Glacier has been melting at the same rate since way before the late 1800's. The sudden hysteria of the big city global warming crowd only uses natural phenomena that has been going on for hundreds and thousands of years (due to the aftermath of the Noahdic flood global disaster) to scare themselves and the gullible.  I never noticed any fear or concern from those living in glacier country, but the city folk sure seem to be in an uproar.

Frum has it right too when he identifies Streisand's fanatical views as religious rather then factual. A god that does not act, or no god at all would mean man is the determiner of his own destiny. We all remember Saddam burning the oil fields of Kuwait, and opening the cocks on the oil takers in port as his final attempt to pollute the world in repayment for his defeat. With no god, the future for mankind is bleak. This is the religion of Streisand, and the environmental whacko's who would buy their way, and force their views unto a gullible antibiblical public. These folks seem to me to be more guilty then what they factlessly accuse their more rational opponents of doing.

One worse then Saddam will wreck polluted havoc on the world when God's Kingdom victory starts to be manifested! Only the cleansing flow mixed with blood from sacrifice at the Altar in the next Jewish Holy Temple will cleanse the earth from the antichrist's polluted revenge for his inevitable defeat.

— CAIRO (Reuters) - A new letter purportedly written by senior al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri urged Muslims to continue a "jihad" to kill Americans and other "enemies of God," an Islamist lawyer who received the document said Tuesday.

"By God, do not stop the new Muslim souls...from approaching jihad (holy struggle), represented in the killing of all Americans as they kill us," said the letter, received by lawyer Montasser al-Zayat and published in the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat.

Zayat confirmed he had received the letter claiming to be from Osama bin Laden's right-hand-man through the internet on Monday and given a copy to the newspaper for publication.

"...I know that jihad against the enemies of God who kill us in all places must have a price, but this price is very cheap, whatever it is, as long as it satisfies God and will help us enter into heaven," the letter said.

 

The appeal is to kill Americans, and all other enemies of Allah and his prophet Mohamed. It is religious war clear and simple. Islam is called upon to kill all the infidels. Islam is openly called upon to kill as they do in Israel to the Jews. Easy targets like the civilian population. Children in particular are prime easy targets to cause maximum pain through torture and death. It is not just to kill, but to kill in beastly fashion where pleasure is measured by pain and fear inflicted.

We have all heard this call to Jihad before, and will hear it again and again. It is the releasing of the wild animals of Islam to rip and tear as they are able. The glories of Moslem heaven are promised to those who have the heartless hate needed to join in this Jihad. It is a sexually perverted heaven promised by a sexually perverted prophet whom they promote as greater then Jesus. Those Moslems not fanatical enough to do these horrific deeds against the weak are at least expected to support them through covert money and silence. It will not be all Moslems who will embrace the call, but it does not take many to cause disaster. It does not take many to cause families torment as these wild animals take their pleasure over the weak and innocent.  The unchallenged call to Islam declares that being an infidel is enough to erase all possibility of innocents. PM aides admit Sharon got $1.5m from S. African businessman

Following allegations of financial improprieties by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his two sons, which were reported in Ha'aretz, advisers to Sharon conceded Tuesday that the prime minister had received $1.5 million from a South African businessman, but denied any connection to criminal activity.

According to the allegations, Ariel Sharon received $1.5 million from Cyril Kern, a South African citizen, to serve as collateral for a loan his sons Omri and Gilad took out to pay back a company from which Sharon received illegal campaign contributions during his primaries campaign for the Likud leadership.
 

Labor looks to exploit police probe on Sharon family

The Labor Party's campaign staff Tuesday discussed the possible implications of the report published by Ha'aretz regarding a police investigation into alleged improprieties surrounding a $1.5 million loan received by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's sons from a South African friend of the family.

According to one of the campaign leaders: "This is our only chance. A daily focus on these types of scandals is the only way to continue to chip away at the Likud's strength and, on the other hand, build up the strength of the Labor Party."

Party chairman Amram Mitzna had already referred to Sharon as "the Godfather" and his sons as "the Family" in earlier statements. Mitzna called on the prime minister to resign Tuesday, saying that with each new suspicion of corruption, "Sharon is slowly losing his legitimacy." He also called on Sharon to resign or else give his own version of the alleged events.
 

 

I don't know where this scandal will go, but I recognize the potential. This could bring down the conservative secular government of Israel, and allow the bleeding heart liberals to take charge again. It is the liberals who are willing to sell out the Holy Land for empty peace efforts with Islam. It is the liberals who orchestrated the disastrous Oslo Peace Accords that armed the Palestinians, and allowed Arafat back into Israel. The end of the liberal "road map" has been the current wave of terrorism, and now these same folks have the potential to take charge of secular Israel again.  I know a false peace is coming to Israel, and I can only wonder if this is how it will happen?

Secular politics is a fickle business. My only consolation is that the sovereignty of God is real. It is God, and His "road map" revealed in the Bible that will be the end of all history. The God of the Bible is in the process of changing dispensations. The coming Jewish Kingdom is revealed in the Bible as God's next destination on His "road map" of history. Nothing can stop God from His control of history. Not the secular Israeli governments, or the antichrist when he comes to power. It is God's will that will be accomplished. The world wants the antichrist and his government based on wealth. It is not a chicken in every pot, but a pot full of gold in every blood covered greedy hand that will be the politics of the Great Tribulation. Yet, God will persevere, and a Kingdom for the meek and lowly will emerge victorious. God's Kingdom will be neither conservative or liberal. It will be Biblical, pure, and righteous. It will be ruled by the only perfectly holy King who ever put foot on planet earth. It is the only "road map" that will bring true peace to a sin ridden world!

One labourer killed, 13 injured as idol falls on them

GURGAON, JAN 6 (PTI)

One labourer was killed and 13 others were injured when a 100 feet idol of Lord Krishna they were constructing at a village near here fell on them, police said.

The incident took place at Narsinghpur village in Manesar area of the district close to the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway.

The injured were brought to a hospital here and discharged after first aid.

Police have registered a case of negligence against the constructor and seized the construction material for investigation.

PA Central Council discusses draft constitution for future state

A quarter of the members of the Palestinians' highest legal body gathered at Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's headquarters Thursday to discuss the draft constitution for a future Palestinian state.

The PA Central Council (PCC) discussed two other main issues as well as the draft contitution - recent political developments, and the internal Palestinian dialogue.

One of the most significant changes put forth by the 222-article draft constitution is the addition of a prime minister to head the government, said PA Planning Minister Nabil Shaath, head of the committee writing the draft. The exact relationship between the prime minister and the president are to be discussed further, Shaath said.

The draft does not address two key issues - the borders of a Palestinian state and the fate of 4 million Palestinian refugees and their descendants - but declares Jerusalem the future capital of a Palestinian state. All three issues would have to be settled in a future peace agreement with Israel.

The document, drafted by Palestinian, Arab and European experts, also contains articles on civil rights and the separation of powers.

A majority of the Central Council (PCC) members have to be present to make a decision. The council is a mid-sized decision-making body, bigger than the Palestinian legislature - many of whose members also belong to the PCC - and smaller than the Palestine National Council.

Shaath said the plan was to have the PCC endorse a first draft, present the constitution to the public for debate, and then send a final version back to the PCC.

Israel tightened restrictions on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, and banned members of the Palestinian Central Council from travelling to the Ramallah session after a suicide bombing killed 22 people in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

The meeting took place in a show of defiance against an Israeli travel ban blocking a full quorum.

"We're giving the message that no one can stop us," Arafat told reporters in his battered complex in Ramallah.

He said Israel was taking every step to make the Palestinians kneel, "but our people are like a mountain, steadfast, and cannot be shaken by the wind."

Israel has also banned Palestinian officials from attending a mid-January conference in London, sponsored by Britain, on reforms and peace. Britain has appealed to Israel to reconsider.

Israeli officials say travel restrictions on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are aimed at preventing Palestinian suicide bombers from reaching Israeli cities. Palestinians call the edicts collective punishment.

In another development, Palestinian sources said that Palestinian police in uniform will begin patrolling streets in Jenin soon. They said Israeli officials agreed to their deployment, as long as they are unarmed. The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

 

A Palestinian State seems almost inevitable. The peace after the war on terrorism has a Palestinian State as its centerpiece. The Palestinians themselves are so sure that they are already setting up charter by which they will govern themselves. Any who would question the inevitable Palestinian State will be vilified as war mongers out to destroy the world. Yet, this is exactly what the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 will do! I don't know if the debate will still be going on when these next true Biblical prophets come on the scene? A Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital may even be in existence. What I do know is that these two prophets will stir the pot into chaos. God never shared His Holy Temple Mountain with the Samaritans, and He will certainly never share it with the heathen Palestinians. The woman at the well made that clear.

Yet, The Palestinians have the audacity to claim even Jerusalem as theirs. It may happen, but it will never last long. The Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital is doomed to the same fate as Dagon the fish god idol of the Philistines. It will fall before the Third Jewish Holy Temple! The Temple that the Bible says will be built by 3-1/2 years into the Great Tribulation when the antichrist kills the two prophets, sits on the throne in that Temple, and usurps Christ as the coming King of kings. A secular Israel may sell out the Holy Land, and the Temple Mount for a false peace. The Two Witnesses will ruin the false peace probably coming out of the war on terrorism with such success that the world will celebrate their death as villains who threw a wrench into the antichrist's  spin of a successful peace plan. Oh how the world will hate these two who will refuse to share God's Land with the heathen. The land of Israel, the city of Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount is reserved exclusively for  the God of the Bible. They are critical to His "road map" for the coming Jewish Kingdom. The Lord Jesus Christ will never share His holy Kingdom!

PA official: Orient House resumes operations

A senior Palestinian official said Friday that the Palestinian Authority has renewed its operations in the Orient House – despite an Israeli order to close down the East Jerusalem building.

Israel Radio reported that Samir Rosheh, the head of the PA's operations in Jerusalem, said in an interview with the Al Quds newspaper that limited activity at the Orient House had been resumed. He said that at least two committees were operating from the building, including a legal committee and the PA's foreign liaison panel.

Rosheh added that some of the activity previously run from the Orient House hadbeen relocated to a temporary headquarters for "urgent issues" in A-Ram, to the north of Jerusalem.

Israel claims that computer files seized during a raid on the Orient House provide evidence of widespread diplomatic and security activity by the Palestinian Authority in the city, in violation of its agreements with Israel. The Oslo agreements explicitly ban official PA activity in Jerusalem.

The files were seized on August 10, 2001, when Israeli police shut down the Orient House in accordance with a cabinet decision. Police also seized large quantities of documents and some videotapes.
 

 

The issue is Jerusalem, and the Holy Temple Mount. The heathen Islamic Palestinians use Orient House as a place to conduct some of their official government business thus displaying to the world that Jerusalem is theirs, and they can do what they want. The Jews have claimed Jerusalem as their capital long ago, but the world has remained mute to their declaration. No government has moved its embassy to Jerusalem including the US, but most governments have sent low level delegates to Orient House in the past. It is a statement that is being made loud and clear here. The Jews have sovereignty by might over Jerusalem, but are reluctant to enforce that sovereignty because of pressure from the world. The law is clear (both Jewish and Oslo) that Palestinian governmental activity in Jerusalem is illegal. That does not keep the Palestinians, or the world from displaying this openly anti-Jewish attitude.

The God of the Bible has also declared Jerusalem as His! God has a 'road map" of dispensational sovereignty over history that shows the next dispensation will be the Great Tribulation that will usher in the Jewish Kingdom age, and Jerusalem will be its capital. Another Holy Jewish Temple will be built on the Temple Mount where events critical to the Great Tribulation, and Millennial Kingdom will take place. It matters not what the Palestinians may claim, or what the world wants to happen. It is God who will see that His "road map" of dispensational change as revealed in the Bible will be the course of history. All other claims to Jerusalem will find only the wrath of the Son. They are all bound to perish for not following the only way as declared in the Bible!

Trail of Pain in Church Crisis Leads to Nearly Every Diocese

The sexual abuse crisis that engulfed the Roman Catholic Church in the last 12 months has now spread to nearly every American diocese and involves more than 1,200 priests, most of whose careers straddle a sharp divide in church history and seminary training.

Those are among the conclusions drawn from an extensive New York Times survey of documented cases of sexual abuse of minors by priests over the last six decades.

The survey, covering cases through Dec. 31, 2002, compiled the names and histories of 1,205 accused priests. It counted 4,268 people who have claimed publicly or in lawsuits to have been abused by priests, though experts say there are surely many more who have remained silent.

The survey, the most complete compilation of data on the problem available, provides a statistical framework for viewing the sexual abuse crisis against the modern history of the American Catholic Church. It found, for example, that most priests accused of abuse were ordained between the mid-1950's and the 1970's, a period of upheaval in the church, when men trained in the traditional authoritarian seminary system were sent out to serve in a rapidly changing church and social culture.

Most of the abuse occurred in the 1970's and 1980's, the survey found. The number of priests accused of abuse declined sharply by the 1990's.

But the data show that priests secretly violated vulnerable youth long before the first victims sued the church and went public in 1984 in Louisiana. Some incidents date from the 1930's and 1940's.

"This has been going on for decades, probably centuries," said Richard K. O'Connor, a former Dominican priest who says he was one of 10 boys sexually assaulted by three priests in a South Bronx parish in 1940, when he was 10. "It's just that all of a sudden, they got caught."

The survey also shows how pervasive the abuse has been. Using information from court records, news reports, church documents and interviews, the survey found accusations of abuses in all but 16 of the 177 Latin Rite dioceses in the United States.

Every region was seriously affected, with 206 accused priests in the West, 246 in the South, 335 in the Midwest and 434 in the Northeast. The crisis reached not only big cities like Boston and Los Angeles but smaller ones like Louisville, with 27 accused priests, and St. Cloud, Minn., with 9.

 

The wake-up call has been given. The time to get out is now. Those who remain shall find this perverted Roman priesthood will only get worse after things cool down.  The God of the Bible says He will be your Father. You don't need a perverted priesthood, and the supporters of such perversion who usurp the title Father! You don't need their false magical claims to spiritual power that no one can see. I find it hard to believe that God would endow or honor the power claimed by the Roman Catholic priesthood when He knows what destroyers of mostly little boys they have been! The hierarchy of the Church may falsely claim ignorance, but God has always known what was going on through all the years. It is God who caused their sins to find them out! It is God who now confronts this generation of Catholics, and their Evangelical supporters with the truth! The Roman Catholic Church is apostate! The time to get out is now!

The other great truth God is confronting Catholics with today is that the coming Kingdom is going to be Jewish not Catholic. It is the Jews who are in control of the Holy Land as the Bible always said would happen. The false substitution theology of the Catholic Church is now also known to be a lie where the Church usurps all the promises of the Bible given to this generation of Israel about the Holy Land, Jerusalem, and coming Temple. The whole world can see it is the literal Jews that God gave the sovereignty to, and not the Pope! It will be a revived Biblical Jewish priesthood that will minister real blood of sacrifice at the Altar in the coming Temple, not the perverted priesthood of the Catholic Church! It will be real blood, and not magic blood that no one can see. It is this generation that God choose to reveal these truths! It is to this generation that the wake-up call has been given.

God told the Corinthians they needed to come out of the mystical paganism they formerly embraced. The call was not to the masses, but to individuals about what they had been involved with. God said He would receive them then, and He will receive you today also. It is to the Christ of the Bible that all must go. It is not religion, but a savior that the Bible calls the individuals to come for blood cleansing forgiveness.

The next dispensation is not for the Christian Church, but the Jewish Kingdom. The future is in Biblical Judaism not a corrupted Christianity! The future is in the living Messiah not the dead Christ of perverted. and apostate orthodoxy!
